Stena relays this and looks to Galingal before saying,

"As big an attack and distraction ye could make would probably do what we needed. Can ye get someone close enough to spot the boat and her so we know its her?"

She sends to Galingal,

<While they are doing that we could slip away in the confusion.>

Gloog thinks a bit.

"There's a building that should have a view of her boat home, to see if she's in."

 Galingal absorbs what's being shared through the spore-link. He's picked up a few words of undercommon but not nearly enough to understand everything until it's shared with him.

<We could escape> he spore-link things in response to Stena <but we would be as unequipped as we are now. If we kill the competing priest daughter we can get all the equipment we could want.>

He pauses for a moment or two, thinking about what they could do.

<As big a fire as possible for a diversion> he spore-link-thinks to the group <and we can slip in - some through the water and on to the boat. If it's close enough to shore, I can shadow walk across the gap>.

<We have a good way to make fire fast? Haven't seen any open flames around here...>, Jimjar muses.

<I've got us set when it comes to fire...>, Lex says, snapping her fingers and creating a puff of smoke.

<We do the job then.>

She gives Lex a nod. Then to Gloog,

"Okay. Take us there to check it out, or as close as ye safely can. Then ye can start getting yer group ready to do their part."

Gloog nods, before looking around at you all. "Maybe only some come? Her people more likely to notice if you all show up. Others stay here? Or if have other things to do?"

((I'm assuming Stena and Galingal want to get eyes on the rival archpriest, Jimjar would want to come along, and Sarith if asked. Any other PCs wanting to go? Any NPCs you're wanting to go?))

Stena eyes the KT after his suggestion, her scowl deepening ever so slightly. Her eyes track over to Shuushar and she tries to relax her face.

"Yes. The fewer the better for this first step."

((Stena would prefer only the three named, though bring Shuushar would be wise to detect anything out of the ordinary - whatever that means to KT.))

The five of you slip out from the shrine, leaving the others to their own devices for the time being, and make your way towards the docks, Galingal apparently the only one getting the memo about being stealthy.

As you turn down a winding alley, you see a pair of KT figures step out in front of you, some 30 feet away, and then hear a splashing sound as a pair of KT step in a puddle 10 ft behind you, cutting off your escape.

"Little Gloogy get tired of listening to hims daddy, and come to find a real Father?", one of the KTs behind you says in Undercommon.

Gloog bares a fishy snarl at the taunt, his eyes goggling as he tries to keep watch on both sets of foes.

Shuushar gives a low moan of dismay.

Stena mutters a curse in Dwarven then shoots the KT that did the taunting.

Seeing Stena pull her bow out with every intent to stick one of the KT, Galingal assumes that whatever was said by the KT was aggressive and this is their only option.

He draws his rapier and swings his shield into position.

The kuo-toa staggers back as Stena's arrow sprouts from his chest, gurgling in dismay!

Galingal equips himself for battle as Shuushar cowers behind some crates, bemoaning the immediate jump to violence.

Gloog is startled, but he's fully onboard with Stena. 

"Let's FORKIN' gooooo!"

He bounds forward at the one beside the one she shot, jabbing at it with the his grabby staff, before trying to bite it.

Bite Attack: 15 Damage: 5

The pair of them, surprised at the sudden escalation, take their fear and anger out on Gloog, or at least try to. The first one tries to fling a net over Gloog, for the second to stab at him.

Spear Attack: 14 Damage: 7 (no advantage if net doesn't succeed)

The two at the far end of the alley close on Jimjar and attempt the same strategy against him.

Gloog, though fired up, is perhaps a bit too amped up, his staff going wide, and one of the KTs attempting to intercept it with their sticky shield. Gloog tries to pull free. STR: 3

He promptly gets netted and stabbed with a spear!

Jimjar also gets netted and stabbed, he draws and slashes out twice with his shortsword.

He connects once on the KT that netted him, but misses on the second swing. The one he missed vs tries to get him stuck, his sword is glommed on failed DC 11. STR: 18

((Gloog has pulled free from the shield of the one Stena didn't shoot. The one she shot netted Gloog, and the one that almost stuck him to their shield stabbed him. He is currently providing half cover for ranged attacks against either of them, but it would be possible to get into melee with the one who was shot. Jimjar is netted and providing half cover vs the one with a net on him. ))
