Galingal listens to the larger flasks, and doesn't hear anything moving about. The smaller flasks slosh when shaken. The buzzing bag buzzes, and if he holds a hand to it, can feel vibrations, there is likely something alive in there. The clay pots without the holes don't make much sound, though the clay would insulate against that. He can feel something shifting slowly after rotating the pot. The one with small holes gives off a wet sound like someone stirring a thick pot of stew.

"It'd be worth a lot, but dangerous," he mutters, citing measurements - Straight from a book. "And at those measurements, there'd be transport... But the slime is easy, safe- If we have some containers..?"
He seems so stuck on 'value', it's uncertain if he's even stopped to consider they'd have to find someone actually willing to trade in the first place. Or maybe he just wants to feel useful, in between loitering around and pulling out that quill of his and writing in his book. At least with people ignoring him overall he's not gotten the weird question of where he keeps pulling it from.
Stena watches the pair go to gather snail slime and rubs her eyes in tired disbelief.
She snorts her derision before turning and staring back in the direction that they left Ranador and ponders ways to hurt Buppy should she meet him again.
FOG will gladly help, perhaps even remembering a few passages that might be apt during the collection process, or a few uses of it. He remains mostly focused on it because it infuriates him how he can remember the passage with perfect clarity, all that surrounds it remains obscured in the dense fog. He thinks he vaguely recalls calling for someone during reading this book in particular... But that means very little if he can't recall whom, or even put as much as a face to it.
Mostly though, by this point it's a bit of awkwardness which keeps the old man turned mostly inward to himself, even if he moves very well for his relative age, and likely matches Galingal in height even as he remains slightly hunched over. It seems that after all, he'd desperately want to introduce himself, and be grateful for the rescue- He has figured out that much, at least, even if so much remains fuzzy.
...But how do you even start that if you don't remember your own name?
The pair manage to harvest a fair amount (6lbs) of the material, but don't succeed at removing any of it in large intact panes. It is hard, partially translucent, and shatters into shards when handled roughly. Still, if it's valuable as a component material, it should still have value to someone.

With the small amount of hardened slime in the bag, Galingal gets FOG and himself back to the boat. If everyone's ready to get their barely held together barge back underway, Galingal will help push it off the dock with one of the poles.
He manages to scrape a few off with the rapier, but those remaining keep trying to nip at him.

Stena stomps the few that run by her.
"Jimjar, which way from here?"
"With the flow of the water, unless we want to try to row upstream and backtrack."

Galingal lets the centipedes go. They hadn't managed to do any damage so he wishes them well in their quest for food.
While Jimjar and Stena discuss which way to go, now with the centipedes gone, Galingal takes a look at what was in the containers.
The wicker basket is now empty. It seems to have contained centipedes.

Galingal listens closely to the to the other containers and if he hears nothing will check what's in the others too.
"Then let's go before Galingal gets himself killed playing with kobold snacks."

Galingal decides to just stow the containers on the boat with the rest of the usable gear they got from the kobolds.
He does select one of the kobold daggers, and takes a sling and some stones (11 ) in case they come in handy later.
"Unless want to hunt the giant snail we should get going," Galingal says.
He does check the lightweight leather bag and opens that and take a look inside.
Lightweight bag = buzzing bag?

Forgot that one was buzzing. He'll leave it alone for now.

Galingal finally looks over at the strange old wizard.
"Basket empty now," Galingal says. The shake the leather bag. "Bag probably empty once open it and whatever inside flies away."
He looks over at the others.
"When get to city need something to trade.'
Galingal will go with the FOG if he wants to get some hardened giant snail slime.

Survival? to harvest slime, with advantage from FOG's help? : 11

Dock is a generous term for the spit of land the party had beached themself on, but Galigal struggles to come up with anything more apt in Common.
The group resumes their journey, Stena with fantasies of pain.
