((Yes, you were. Taking off now would interrupt that. Since Jenny completed the deal with FOG, and seemingly vacated her mushroom cap, it has begun to float away with the current, and within a few moments is out of sight to Galingal, then Stena, and finally FOG.))

Galingal, only needing a shorter time to refocus his energies during his more trance like rest, lets the others finish their sleep while he keeps watch for the return of the hag or anything else coming at them out of the dark.
It sounds like it is the gurgling of water passing through a narrow opening, sucking and whirlpooling, coming from ahead and slightly to the left, which seems to be the direction the waterway is curving.

FOG wakes up, idling awkwardly for a long while. At least he's not stumbling blind anymore (and he didn't even need to use a spell slot), but there seems to be very little chance of idle talk. He's not even found the opportunity to share how he figured out what his name is! As some kind of trouble seems to be brewing.
"Which direction do we need to go? I can help," he says, soon realizing the direction they want is "away"... And begins using shape water to start outright reversing some of the flow of the stream- Hopefully so they can curve back, or in another direction...
You're keeping along the right edge, as safely as you can, as the gurgling sound grows louder. It occasionally will quiet, before resuming again. More than once you wonder if you need to try to halt the boat, or back up, but the current keeps tugging you along. Coming into view in a softly fungus glow lit chamber is another presumably duergar built lock mechanism for accessing a lower level. In front of it is turbulent, swirling water, and the cause of the periodic cessation of sucking water becomes apparent as it cuts off, only to resume when a familiar looking mushroom cap boat bobs to the surface and is kicked out of the whirlpool, only to circle as the water is resumes spiraling. Beyond the whirlpool is a lock-house, the building lit from within by lantern light, but no one is visible.
Fortunately the tunnel widens and you're able to, with your combined efforts, you make your way to the right, the cavern opening up into a steep-walled eddy, along which you can see zhurkwood piers with slips for boats to tie up to. The dock extends along the perimeter of the cavern to the lock-house. A rope railing extends along a switchback from the far end of the dock up 40 feet to where it levels off below a ceiling far above. There are some stands and stalls along the piers, though they are not occupied and look to have fallen into disuse.

"Well, she did vanish... Or I presume she vanished," FOG says, shrugs, and helps make sure with some more controlling of the tempest, parts of the whirlpool strangely reversing while he focuses on it... Before they end up at what appears to be civilization of some kind. Although not something he presumably recognizes, as he mostly observes the others.
Gal thinks he saw movement, but after watching intently, he's pretty sure it was just a flicker of lanternlight.
Jimjar sighs. "We're on a boat. In the Underdark. On the Darklake. Somewhere between Sloobludop and Gracklstugh. It would seem we are currently docked at some sort of duergar outpost with lock mechanism that might be damaged. I'm standing at the wheel, you're lurking in the dark. That fish-forker Buppido is the one who knew claimed to know the way to Grack, I'm just doing the best I can. If we can't get that whirlpool sorted and the lock working, this might be as far as we can go by boat. I don't like that Jenny's mushroom cap is bobbing in the whirlpool back there one bit, I'll say that much. I bet ten gold she's somewhere nearby, watching us and waiting for FOG's eyes to explode or something."

"Fool."
Stena adds her thoughts on it definitively.
"Get us there Jimjar. Don't want to disappoint a hag."
FOG sighs. He's not explicitly disagreeing with Stena. Although he looks a bit dozy, still...
(Were we not still in the middle of a long rest?)

"I think... Hope, it should be safe to finish our rest, now."

Stena resumes sleeping, even more angry than before.

"Keep us going," Galingal says to Jimjar, and then starts polling to help out. "Need get off lake soon and get to town. Too exposed here."
"Yeah, you got it!"
Jimjar takes the wheel as you cast off and begin poling along. After a few hours, a hissing, gurgling watery sound can be heard from ahead.
"Slow up! What's that?"

"What do ye hear over there? Almost certain something to avoid."
Stena will join in the poling to push away from whatever it is.

"Maybe whirlpool," Galingal ventures. "Maybe rapids. Not sure can avoid. Try stick to right of tunnel."
Galingal leans into the pole as well.

Galingal eyes the bobbing cork of the mushroom cap boat.
"Maybe hag, but not good sailor," Galingal says.
Once at the piers, he hops out of the boat and heads to the lock-house to see if the mechanism still works, keeping an eye out for any sign of life.
