The majority of the party find themselves back on the oppressive clangor and heat of the market, vendors calling out to them, trying to find buyers for their wares.
Turning around, you realize that Neth and Yuk Yuk have fallen behind somewhere. Perhaps things are less than fine for the two of them.

"I agree we might need to get out quickly and... Hold on, we're missing people..!" Kolose remarks, not even noticing Stena is likely very pointedly ignoring their disappearance.
Jimjar gives a grimace. "I bet them wandering loose is going to stir up trouble... I can see if I can scoop them up before anyone else does, there's gotta be a go to place to stay here we can meet at, whether I find them or not... Five gold says that 'our traveling companion ran off with the dagger' isn't going to take the heat off us... especially if that fellow on the docks was our contact."

Backtracking, you find YukYuk and Neth pretty easily, as they are in an increasingly heated conversation with a duergar vendor. Between the volleyed 'it was an accident, bruh!' and 'it will be fine' from your party members, it seems the vendor's patience with the goblin who clipped his pottery display and the nonplussed blue tiefling is wearing thin.
"Neth!", Lia exclaims running ahead to join him. "Oh, what lovely pottery! A shame that this one broke, I think it would have been my favorite. You two need to stop rough-housing when you're out and about and be more careful!", she exclaims, placing one of the shattered pieces back on the stall and taking a scolding tone as she wags a finger at the two of them.
"Sorry, Miss Lia... bruh." "Sorry... it'll be fine though."
The vendor doesn't seem to be able to understand Lia, but his anger is at least stemmed by her tone and actions.
"Someone best be paying for what was broken, or I'll be calling the Guard.", he rumbles in Undercommon.
Stena gives the group a long, hard look. Her jaw clenches and unclenches a couple of times before she tips her head up slightly to look at the distant, dark stone ceiling. After a long slow exhalation she says,
The vendor looks at Stena as the other 'duergar' present, but Jimjar, looking back and forth between her barely keeping her calm to the vendor, mutters to her. "I've got it."
He heads over, apologizing in Undercommon and translating Lia's sentiments, ushering her to take the bumbling pair away as he talks trade with the shopkeep. Eventually, coins exchange hands and he is presented with a cloth sack of pottery shards. Bowing, Jimjar retreats back to join the rest of you. While that was going on, YukYuk has been relating in exaggerated and likely embellished detail, his collision with the stand and the ensuing destruction.
"Cost more than they are probably worth to smooth things over, but rather not give anyone else cause to have it out for us.", the deep gnome sighs. "Did find out that the only place that'll house non-duergar here is the '"Ghohlbrorn's Lair", so that's our inn when we find it."
Stena, you know that ghohlbrorn are the creatures referred to in Common as bulettes, and recall having seen an image of one on a sign not far from where you entered the Darklake District. As you move back through the Bazaar, Stena also spots a derro, her mind flashing immediately to Buppido as the only other derro you've seen in your time here, but on second glance, it is definitely not your former companion. This fellow has an eclectic look, his raggedy garments fashioned in the style of a fancy jacket, it's hard to tell if it was once a fine piece of clothing that has been gradually replaced and patched, or if it was constructed from bits and pieces to start with. His wide brimmed hat has the ends of two displacer beast tentacles sewn to the crown and he carries a satchel over his shoulder as he moves, muttering through the Bazaar, paying little apparent mind to his surroundings.
She notes that he receives glares from the duergar merchants in the Bazaar, some of them pulling wares closer or hands drifting to their coin purses unconsciously as he passes. He doesn't seem to elicit the same response from non-duergar merchants, however.
A short walk through the noisy Bazaar, with Stena leading puts you outside a mound of stone that has a bulette carved above the entrance.

Galingal heads in, the entrance almost immediately plunging down a set of stairs. It would seem that the inn itself is largely located under the Darklake District itself. Sputtering lanterns are placed at regular intervals the walls, and as you descend, one of the things you note is that the air down here, while cold, damp and heavy, has very little of the soot and smoke that permeates the city above. The little bit from the lanterns is quite tolerable. You find yourselves breathing a bit easier, able to take deeper breaths without the rasp of acrid fumes.
The stairs descend what is probably thirty to forty feet below the level of the city above, and opens up into a large central cavern, the roof of which stretches a good twenty feet high in the middle. Lanterns are again staggered throughout, with the upper ceiling illuminated by fungi nestled up among the rock. Zhurkwood tables and benches are placed throughout, and in the center of the room is a square bar, thirty feet on a side that has stools of varying heights placed around it. In the middle is a iron grate covered fire pit, various meats and fungi being tended to by a cook. Along another wall is door way that from the sounds and smells, must be the kitchen proper. There are five other tunnels that branch off, presumably to the rooms that serve as accommodations.
Both the clientele and the staff are fairly diverse, with only a handful of duergar visible, who all seem to be staff, and from their attire and the way they interact with the other staff, likely management.
A female duergar approaches, silvery hair pulled back in a pair of braids that join at the back of her head, and she gives a welcoming smile, "I'm Therez, and welcome to the 'Ghohlbrorn's Lair', if you're looking for a meal, have a seat wherever you like and I'll send a server over. If you're inquiring about rooms, you'll want to see Gerzth at the counter."
A smiling duergar is an unusual sight, but Gerzth's stoicism as he pores over a ledger seems to make up for his more upbeat co-worker.

Stena pretends not to notice the pair is missing and asks Gal,
"It might be a problem if that man was supposed to get the dagger. Buy quick, find guides and get out?"

"If Neth run off, then say ran off with dagger," Galingal says. "That dagger is trouble."
He thinks for a moment more about Stena's suggestion and nods.
"If find surface guide, yes. Go quick. But may need to stay inn one night. At least tavern with others will help find guide."
Galingal looks around for an inn that is a little less seedy than what they saw down by the docks.
"Oh no, Neth? Neth?", Lia looks distraught.
