You take up position as the KT hurries into the city...

((You two are up! KT is surprised the first round as you ambush them.))

Galingal lunges forward the KT gets within reach, stabbing out with his rapier at the same time.

Attack: 22 Damage: 7  

He holds back a second attack, waiting to see how strong this one really is.

"Surrender and not kill you," Galingal says, knowing saying that before stabbing at the KT might have been more persuasive but he wants to make sure the KT knows its in real danger.

The KT gives a wet grunt as it runs into the shadow elf's blade, looking up in surprise and confusion as Galingal demands something from it.

Stena repeats what Galigal said in undercommon and smacks the KT in the back of the head with the flat of her shortsword to encourage it to understand.

Jimjar darts forward and swings the pommel of his shortsword at the back of its head.

His first blow connects and the KT crumples in a heap. "Spoons... well... he's captured... now what?"

Galingal grabs the KT and drags it to the side, making sure they're out of view of the boat-temple.

"Need ask how many guards on boat," Galingal says. "Then decide attack now or send for others."

"We able to wake him up? How's he gonna react to Gloogy being here?"

Stena steps back while they try to wake the prisoner and keeps an eye out for more company.

Perception: 5

"Tell Gloog move back out of sight," Galingal tells Jimjar and Stena.

He kneels down and checks on the unconscious KT, putting a hand on their shoulder.

Galingal whispers to himself, "Säästää kuolevia."

Casts  Spare the Dying  on the KT just in case they were too aggressive in the subduing.

Then he gently shakes the KT.

The KT seems stable, but unconscious.

"Need wake up," Galingal says. "Only what know now of value."

He stands and looks down at the KT then nudges them with his foot. He looks tempted to stab down with his rapier to wake up the KT.

"If not wake up, just kill." Galingal says. "Then send Shuushar for others and we get closer."

He leans down and pinches some exposed skin on the KTs face; pinches hard.

Medicine Check?: 10  

 Stena waves Gloog over to her.

Galingal is well versed enough in the healing arts to know that if you were to apply healing magic, that they KT would revive. But if there's a way to bring them around more quickly without expending magic, you're not sure.

Gloog ambles over to Stena as Shuushar comes out of hiding and approaches Galingal. 

Via Jimjar, your kuo-toa companion offers. "Shuushy says he can revive them, but he's got conditions. He'll only do it if, you don't kill them afterwards."

The deep gnome looks at Shuushar and asks something in Undercommon. Shuushar considers, then responds with a nod of the head. "He's alright with them getting tied up and gagged and left somewhere to get found later, just no killing them while they're our captive."

Galingal looks down at the KT. While he wants to know what the KT knows, he's not willing to expend his own magical energy to revive him.

He then listens to Jimjar's translation of Shuushar's conditions. Galingal eyes Shuushar for a few moments then nods.

"While prisoner, not kill, unless endanger us," Galingal says with a nod. 

Galingal then quickly uses the KTs own clothing to fashion rope to tie up his hands and to use as a gag.

Shuushar moves forward and places a hand on the downed KT before backing up and letting the others take over the questioning.

The KT comes to with a splutter, struggling against the bonds and Jimjar, who is holding it down.

Stena asks Gloog,

"Ye know this KT?"
