Galingal stands between the sister’s minion and Stena and the brother to minimize the chances of him being seen.
He then nods at Shuushar, indicating he should translate.
”We have little time. No patience. Tells us how many guard the temple boat and where other entrances are. Tell quickly you live and your priestess live. Not tell or lie, everyone in temple die.”
Shuushar seems confused, as he doesn't understand what your words any better, but Jimjar steps in.
Shuushar seems to protest a bit when the deep gnome touches on the killing everyone part.
The captive KT struggles, spitting at Jimjar and babbling in Undercommon. They have a bit of back and forth, before Jimjar grins and stuffs the gag in the protesting fish mouth.
He moves over to take Galingal aside, "He says he's not telling us anything, and that the Deep Father will tear us apart, that heretics and weak Sea Mother followers will all fall before his might, blah, blah, blah. He says whatever we just tried to strengthen the Sea Mother won't do any good, that his archpriest's ritual will turn Sloobludop over to him and him alone. He's on an 'important mission', and we're in big trouble for delaying her plans. I bet she felt whatever that energy was too... and didn't like it."
Galingal nods, the response being about what you’d expect from zealots. The Queen did not generate that kind of passion in the Shadar-Kai. We endure, he thinks to himself.
He reaches for his dagger but then catches sight of Shuushar. He raises both hands, empty. Instead, he tears more cloth and jams it into the captive’s mouth.
”This is still best chance. Shuushar should get others and bring back. We go closer. Find way onto boat. See who there,” he says to Stena and Jimjar.
There is some back and forth between the deep gnome and kuo-toa, before Jimjar asks, "We waiting on the others? Still want Lex to light things up as a distraction? Need Sea Mother folks to do anything? "

"Have her start the fire and have the Sea Mother followers add a distraction of their own. Tell everyone to be quick."
To Galingal she'll say,
"We'll be waiting on the others while the Sea Mother followers get moving and Lex does her thing." Her eyes dart over to Shuushar and she adds, "Agreed?"
As soon as Shuushar departs she'll club the bound KT into unconsciousness. She'll make challenging eye contact with anyone that questions it. She'll then look to Galingal to disappear unlucky Gloppi.
Galingal watches up and down the alley as Stena 'quiets' the zealot minion captive. Once the KT is 'sleeping', Galingal does his best to find a spot to hide them.

"Let's get closer. Ready to move once fire starts," Galingal says.
He moves to the entrance to their ambush site, trying to remain unseen as he gets eyes on the boat-temple again.
Stena, Galingal, Jimjar and Gloog find an out of the way place to watch the boat. As you're waiting, Gloog clarifies that it's more of a residence houseboat than a temple, he's sure his sister's got a small shrine to her false god in there, but the main religious stuff goes down at the shrine near the docks in the city.
Time check: 43 minutes
There is a rapping at Ploopp's hovel door, and those within hear Shuushar's voice over the murmuring and chanting of the crowd outside. Derendil lifts the bar, and your KT companion stumbles in. He starts talking rapidly, his clothes a bit disheveled as he gasps for air.
Lex listens, then responds back and forth a bit before she translates for the benefit of Thom and Lia.
"He was wondering what went on here, I told him what you did Lia... it appears you're becoming a minor celebrity... the Sea Mother's Herald, sent to deliver Sloobludop from both the Deep Father and Gut Plucker."
Buppido gives a start at the mention of Gut Plucker, wrapping his arms around himself with a shudder.
Lex continues, "He says that the other three got eyes on her boat, and that the ruckus here has stirred her to action, she sent a bunch of runners into the city, and they managed to capture and question one. Not a lot of info from him, but he apparently wasn't aware that The Herald walks among us.", she grins.
"Plan's a go, if we can slip out, start a fire at the other end of the docks, draw her folks away so we can get a strike in on her."
The hubbub outside shifts, and shortly Ploopp enters, bowing a few more times to the crowd that turns their adoration back to the Shrine, milling about and hurling offerings in its direction.
He asks a question in Undercommon, Lex and Shuushar reply, he tensely speaks some more, then Lex translates.
"Ploopp says that your show made the fake sacrifice a moot plan, at least as where as you're concerned, it would only be believable if the Sea Mother faction was dealing from a weak position. You somehow managed to tip the scales in her favor, and he's off the opinion that now is the time to strike, while his goddess has the support of the city."
Ploopp stares at Lia with glisteningly fervent eyes.
((What are you doing now? What are the NPCs doing? Is everyone going with Lex to do an arson? Some staying at the Sea Mother's shrine? Some trying to join up with Stena and Galingal? This is a party decision, doesn't have to fall all on Grwobert.))
Timeline wise:
0 min: Lia did her performance, imbued the advance party with inspiration, Lia passes out 10-15 min: they took out a runner, questioned him, and sent Shuushar back 30-35 min: Lia wakes, Shuushar (who had to politely push his way through the crowd to get to the archpriest's hovel) returns and fills them in, advance party has been waiting with eyes on the boat for ~20 min.
Lia is buoyed by the news from the advanced party. She rallies the rest of the party at Ploopp’s hovel and heads out to the hundreds of Sea Monther Faithful outside…
Greeted by cheers and more thrown refuse, she addresses them again, “Now is the time, my fry!… Now you must move as one school. Now is the time we strike!!… The Sea Mother is in ascendence once more!… She rises to the surface like so much flotsam and jetsam…. And raises you up with her!”
”Rise up now, and crush the false idols. Destroy the shrine of the pretender god at the docks… and wipe out those who follow him…”.
Her eyes go dark and her voice goes just as dark, “Wipe them out….. All. Of. Them…!”.
Lia looks upon her flock as they stream away. Something dark seems to rest upon her. Maybe she likes the taste of the power…
As soon as the crowd has dispersed, she snaps out of it and leads the rest of the party (those who chose to go and don’t have duties elsewhere), to where the rest of their group wait by the sister’s boat house.
"Once this starts, we see what those guards do. Aye don't like the idea of a swim if we can help it. That's their terrain. If we send Gloog in that way he can distract from our run at the land route."
”If get close enough. 30 feet. Can dark walk across and catch guard unaware.” Galingal adds.
When the others arrive, Galingal looks for a scrap of paper or cloth, ripping some from the KT prisoner’s clothing if needed and writes a message for Shuushar to take to the tavern to warn the half-goliath that the town isn’t safe and is about to explode in civil war. They’ll be leaving soon but have some business to finish first.
If the mob goes to the temple and not this boat, Galingal will look for a spot with cover within 30’ of the boat and then wait for Lex to start the fire near the gangway to the boat.
Lia steps outside, and a cheer arises from the mob. Ploopp finds a crate to stand on to quite literally position himself above her, and gestures to Lia as she speaks, licking his lips and looking around at the kuo-toa that he so far had not managed to inspire to such a display of fervent support for his goddess. His smile twitches a bit as she speaks, but he keeps it plastered on there...
40-50 min: Lia speeches to the crowd, Lex, Stool and Thom go with the crowd, Derendil goes where Thom goes. Ploopp goes with them too. Buppido, Sarith and Lia are lead by Shuushar towards the advance party.
((Let me know if I got the intent right with the party!))
((Lia, give me a Perception check please!))
Galingal and Stena hear the hubbub shifting, and see the flickering glow of torches marching in the direction that Gloog informs you is where his sister has set up a shrine to the "Deep Father". Something is kicking off! It's stirred the remaining guards, and Bloppblippodd emerges briefly to shake her fishy fists, yell at some of her underlings, and dart back to get something from her boat.
Galingal turns his attention to the sound of a mob moving through the streets. Whatever it is, it has Blopp and her minions worked up.
He turns to Stena and Jimjar.
”This might lure her off boat. Maybe easier out here. If guards leave we go get her. If she comes with guards we ambush,” he says part question part statement.
Galingal is willing to wait a minute or two to see what Blopp does (and if Lia shows up with the others in the meantime, all the better).
A 'block' away from the shrine -- as if this city could be organized enough to refer to the clusters of ramshackle buildings as blocks --, Lia sees a flash of blue, and turning her head, catches sight of the bald, blue-skinned fellow with horns she noted earlier. He stands at a dodgy looking balcony/partially collapsed walkway, out of the crush of the mob she's incited. She hears in her mind, less pronounced than before, the thrumming crack of ice as he meets here gaze for a moment or two before turning back into the cluttered shadow of the building.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
((Lia’s intention was to reunite the whole party. But happy either way as it is all a bit chaotic in the city anyway)).
((Maybe a flat CHA roll to see if the whole party come with her?: 15 )).
When Lia sees the blue fellow, she calls out politely in common, “Ho! You there! Wait up!…”.
She turns to those with her, “I’ll catch you up! I just need to.. tend to.. something!…”. And with that she dashes after Mr. Blue. She won’t go too far off the beaten track or for too long, but something tells her she needs to speak with this guy…
((You'd said other than those with other duties, my understanding was Lex was tasked with making fire, and Stool was to go with her. The guys in OOC suggested Thom go with Lex, and Derendil would default to going with him, but you can ask Thom and/or the Prince to join you instead, that's fine!))
Lia perhaps convinces some of the others to follow her, then sends them on ahead as she diverts towards a nearby building to speak to the Mr. Blue she's seen once or twice before.
((Sarith and Thom would not be willing to let you wander off on your own, Shuushar seems confused, and Buppido waves goodbye.))
He responds quietly, "One of my sister's minions... Glibboglip or Gloppiglob, or something like that."
