Galingal slips into the portion of his mind that operates at an automatic level as he sees before him not the inside of Gloog's boat and his friends, but the killing fields he's trod for years upon years, and rising before him the foul undead that his Queen commands that he put in the ground.
((Galingal, make an attack with advantage against the wight you see before you please.))
((We are quasi back on turn order, but no need to roll for initiative.))
((Can Neth tell what kind of beast this is as in celestial, etc? What kind of check would you want? Also can I tell if the effect on Lia and Galingal is psychological or the result of some sort of magical property from the beast? Maybe dumb questions just trying not to meta game))
((Neth can make a Knowledge check. What you go with may affect DC and what you get from it. Lia and Galingal are on the boat, so unless you join them there, don't think he'd have a good enough sense of what's up with them to know one way or the other (unless he'd joined them on the boat and I missed it). If he's still on the shore, he could make a check on Buppido, who just collapsed, Medicine?))

Neth moves towards the boat, panicked by the coming of the giant beast, trying to make sense of what is happening. He goes to check on his new companions.
Neth suspects this creature is demonic in origin, it's entirely too chaotic to be devilish, but it's certainly a fiend of some sort. He doesn't pick up any magical traces that would suggest that his companions are under the effects of a spell.
On the fields of battle, Galingal lunges forward and skewers the wight, though it still stands before him, making a strange halting clicking sound.
Lia sees her shadow elf companion turn to her with disgust in his eyes as he draws his rapier and stabs her. She tries to call out to him, but all that emerges is stuttering.

Neth runs to Galingal and attempts to shake him out of whatever is happening. He grabs Gal by the shoulders from behind and begins to shake, while also attempting to offer some protection from this demonic beasts presence. ((Casts protection from good and evil))
Galingal sees another of the wights nearby on the battle field, spewing nonsensical sounds. Could this be a wight deathlock, Galingal thinks to himself.
Lia, you see Galingal draw back his rapier and thrust it into you a second time. You hear footsteps approaching rapidly, and Nethnarei comes into view from the left, grabbing Galingal by the shoulder and trying to shake him out of it, his fingers of his other hand moving in a complicated gesture as he casts something on Galingal, you feel a cool breeze waft off the pair of them.
Galingal, you thrust your blade into the chittering wight again, but you must have been too focused on putting the foul creature down, as you feel yourself get grabbed and yanked about, your gaze falling on a beast of icy spikes that shakes you about. You feel its cold breath wash over you...
((Galingal, make a CHA save please.))
((Neth, can I have an Insight check please? You can make it at advantage because [reasons].))

Galingal blinks at the new spiked creature. Have the demon's of the Abyss entered the Shadowfell? A planar war? Something gnaws at the back of his mind. This doesn't make sense.
Lia finds herself unable to move, any thoughts she wants to express tripping over her tongue as she stares in horror at the thing coming towards the city.

Bardic inspiration 2
Galingal shakes his head. Damn, she's gotten him back. Before he can puzzle through that, the wight ahead of him needs to be dealt with and quickly.
Reflexively, he slashes out with his rapier.
Attack: 23 Damage: 8
((What did you do Lia!?))
Stena blinks into the deeper than deep water and shrugs it off.
((Kind of a bit late.))
Stena would have stopped Galingal on the boat before the waves started to tell him,
"Best to stay for the boy, not to try and get back through the chaos in the city. Ye look bad as well, so does Jimjar."
((After the waves start. Rolling with inspiration!))

Neth, you arrive at the boat to see the Stena curled up in a tight dwarven ball, Lia standing there looking shocked as Galingal stabs her.
