Regarding the distraction, Thom said <I don't know what exactly, he just said there's going to be some type of distraction after the guard shift change. Galingal, let's just wait a minute to see what happens, those two guards might even leave depending on what goes down here, yeah?>
<Oh, he also said he thinks we should try and make it as close to the waterfall as possible. And aim for the pool below. Not sure exactly what he means but yeah, that's what he said. I guess we do that after the armory, yeah? Anyhow, it's going to be chaotic when it all goes down. We can try and stick together, yeah?>
He also thinks to everyone <I'll be of some use once I get my hands on a bow, yeah?>
And about the key:
I think Lo has the key. Thom had asked her to try the key on his manacles (not sure if it worked or not), and I think she gave the key to him but I am not sure and was just awaiting confirmation on that piece.
If Thom does have the key, he'd be waiting and listening to Galingal's plan. <yeah i've got it right here mate.>
@Spider, you confirmed that the key to open the door does NOT open the manacles and collar, right? Because Thom would've tried it if he has the key.
Thom's eyes widen at Sarith's arrow.
@Spider
Thom isn't super confident about using this telepathy, but he gives an understanding nod to Sarith showing him that he understands what he's 'said' about the prince.
<Hi Stool. Food soon, yeah?>Thom responds.
Thom would think to the Prince <Hey. You about ready then?>
When Lia sings, Thom thinks to himself, but likely everyone can hear the thought <oh... she's singing to him now?> Thom does not understand the magics.
So yeah, if Thom does have the key, he's going to wait for a bit here until this 'distraction' happens. If nothing happens after a while, then he'll quietly open the gate for Galingal to do his thing. <good luck mate> and he watches intently to see this 'crossing the bridge in a blink of an eye' thing.
<Verily, young Thomas. I grow weary of these confines and am eager to depart.>, replies the Prince.
Those of you near the entrance may hear some sort of raised voices to the left, but the two guards definitely take notice, pushing back their chairs from their card game and standing, both looking down the length of the other rope bridge.

Thom feels confident now using the thinking to a specific person. He thinks to Sarith <Hey. Yeah mate. Prince is in the palm of my hand, yeah?>
Thom would be near the entrance since he has the key (pending lo confirmation!) and he notices the raised voices and the guards getting up and thinks to everyone <I think this is it everyone. You ready to do your thing Galingal? If they leave it'll be even better. Wait a few more seconds, yeah?>
Thom's going to open the door when the guards leave and he would follow Galingal as best he can across the first bridge.
If the guards don't leave, he will wait until Galingal is ready and then quietly open the door and remain back a bit and watch how Galingal deals with the guards.
Thom says to the Prince <Ok, wait for my command, Prince. Listen to me and you'll get back to your people, yeah?>
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
<Good. Well done.>, Sarith responds to Thom.
((I don't think it was ever confirmed whether Io tested the key, or gave it to Thom, but I think we're safe in saying that since the party has the key, and on one WANTS to stay, that when you're ready, the lock can be opened.))
(Does a guard leave?)
1-12 they both stay, 13-18 one leaves, 19-20 both leave.
14
As you're watching, the two guards have a conversation back and forth, before one of them hurries down the rope bridge to the left, leaving only one guard remaining.
<Aww, man, I would have put money on only one of them going to check it out!>, Jimjar laments.
((@Galingal and the rest of the 'strike team', once you make the first move, we'll move to initiative order, so give me those rolls if you're part of it! Anyone else looking to jump in as it develops can roll initiative as needed (I won't be including most of the NPCs in the initiative).))
<Harrumph, you may be my trusted advisor, but you're still in no position to issue commands to one of royal blood. I will however take your advice under consideration. I do very much wish to return to my people.>, the Prince responds to Thom's previous thought-message.

Upon hearing a bit of commotion, and seeing the drow guards start to scramble, Lia would have moved up near the cell entrance. Ready for when Galingal makes his move, and for when all this starts to kick off!…
Lex steps up to the bars with the others, weight on the balls of her feet, ready to charge at a moment's notice. Tail-whip gripped in one hand and flint dagger in the other, for the first time, she looks... alive. It's hard to quantify it, but her eyes seem brighter, her movements more purposeful. She glances over to Lia and Galingal, now free of their blindfold and gag, and a smirk tugs at the corner of her mouth. "Ready when you are."

Galingal's Initiative for when needed: 20
With the door unlocked and the guard looking after his partner that just left, Galingal slips out of the cell, opening the door enough to exit but not enough that swinging wide attracts attention from the periphery vision of the guard.
He moves out slowly staying to the darkest part of the landing outside of the gate until he can reach the bridge and be within range.
Stealth if needed: 18
Once on the bridge, Galingal blinks out of view and reappears instantly next to the lone guard in the guard post. He slashes out quickly with the dagger, hoping to catch the guard by surprise.
Movement: 5' to the bridge
Bonus Action: Blessing of The Raven Queen - teleports to the guard

Purely posting in Galingal's self interest - just wanted to make sure you knew that Ice Knife explodes whether it hits or not. Everyone within 5' (eg Galingal, and anyone else who closes the distance before Io throws it) who fails a save takes damage. Wouldn't normally mention that and would just let the character complain later, but since we're only first level, if Galingal fails his save, that exploding ice could kill him.
And maybe it's just me, but the initiative dice roll didn't come through.

Lex rushes down the bridge after Galingal, any idea of stealth abandoned. As she runs, she reaches out an arm, and the swirling patterns on her skin glow for a moment before... fire! Beautiful, glorious flames wreath her hand, crackling and sparking in the dark cavern. Massive grin splitting her face, she lobs it forward at the drow.
Lex leaps to the fore, hurling fire at the drow... Where it spatters off his armor, singeing some of the playing cards on the table. Sarith mutters a curse through the spore-link as she stands proudly on the rope bridge.
He squeezes past her, being careful not to jostle her off, then dashes into the guard tower, swiftly closing the far door and putting his back against it.
"Fork you, Malagar! I'm innocent, but no one believed me, you saw to that, didn't you?"
The drow guard splutters in surprise, but isn't able to do anything else.
