"Seems it haven't been used i quite a while, but we should investigate right?"Serena says, motioning for Tresvar to take point again, ready to follow her down the dark tunnel, lighting another torch if necessary.
Perception with help from Flappy, nestled on Serena's shoulder: 15
The craftsmanship of this tunnel, although only a secret passage, is high. No draft blows through. The cobwebs only move by the passage of the party in the tunnel and up the steps. The team sweeps away webs which obstruct their way. These webs are made not by any monster, but simply over time by countless generations of cave spiders.
When Tresvar and Serena reach the top of the stone steps, they are confronted by another stone wall. Serena, however quickly identifies it as a similar disguised passage to that in the bunk room. This time, however, as she listens, she hears several gruff voices which sound to come from some distance beyond the passage as they are faint.
Serena turns to the others and speaks in a lowered voice. "More enemies on the other side of this door, most likely orcs. I suggest we burst out and take them by surprise but I'm willing to listen to other tactics if you have any suggestions."
((To give a sense, the tunnel is 5 feet wide and only about 15-20 feet long. So you are not all gathered at the top of the stairs. I have Serena, Flappy and Tresvar in the passage and Banjo, Livia, and Araynia still in the bunk room.))
Livia, having more or less given up on peaceful dealings at this point, shakes her head. "It might be a bit difficult to surprise them when we must file into the room, but I have no better ideas. Let's do this."
Banjo cracks his neck from side to side and hops nimbly from foot to foot. "I'm as ready as I will ever be."

Banjo's stealth is hampered by the interminable length of this cobweb infested hallway. "Enough resources to hollow out a mountain, construct passably effective engineered traps, and fill a vault full of treasure fit to attract an armada of rampaging Orcs, but cannot be bothered to even attempt to pest-proof their hidden passageways? Amateur hour!" he mutters, brushing webs off of his robes.

Serena silently opens the door. As the light and fresher air from the area beyond enter this secret passage, the team hears the voices more clearly with the removal of the stone barrier. The orcs continue to speak uninterrupted.
Serena beckons for Tresvar to take point. The fierce warrior moves quickly to comply, perhaps a bit too eagerly, as squeezing past Serena and out the door, Tresvar's plate armor clangs against the wall, then her shield clips the opened door. This all as she practically jumps into the hallway.
The three orcs, who appear to be stationed as archer sentries, were playing some sort of dice game. While seated, they stop immediately and face the unexpected visitor as they reach for their weapons.
Initiative:
Tresvar: 5
Serena: 18
Livia: 17
Banjo: 20
Araynia:21
Orcs: 2
((The Orcs are armed with longbows instead of javelins. They will use half their movement to stand during their turn))
As the party enters, they see that this narrow hall is intended as archer stations, protecting the main entrance to the cave. Light from outside slants into the room through a series of narrow embrasures. The area is littered with well-gnawed bones, cobwebs, and rat droppings. Poorly cured hide blankets are carelessly scattered over the floor.
(OOC: Oh, sorry, totally forgot about the poison effect, Serena too is poisoned. I suppose Tresvar could go for dodge actions as the battle commences.)
