"Consider how the dragonling might interpret that, assuming she is on the other side of the door and we come smashing through."
Banjo stands in contemplation for a moment.
"Recall if you will that some of those goblins came from this direction. As this could not have passed through a closed and locked door - which they could not have done - then they must have opened it. Since it is now closed and locked, either someone else remains in that room to have locked it behind them... or they possess a key. Does anyone recall if we searched that last batch of goblins?"
Banjo will reluctantly scurry back to question them, though he will need Serena's key and will ask Erky to come along for the walk.

"Well, couldn't the goblins that came stumbling in through that door.." Serena says pointing to the north door. "...simply have come from that room." Now pointing to the room with the open door to the north east in the corridor. In case we find none... "Well, friends, we are in a bit of a hurry. How do we get into the room with the dragon? And have you set up any traps around the beast? Whoever answers first - and honestly - gets a ration!"

The goblins make a nasty giggling. It sounds like hyenas drowning in tar.
Grumpypants responds, "Bugbear hunter, Balsag ... he the one who captured the kobold's dragon. Had goblins chain it up in Trophy room. We lock doors. Balsag give key to Grenl. Balsag go out to hunt. Balsag not come back to deal with dragon yet. Goblins not go into Trophy room with dragon - we not stupid. Maybe you think you tougher than goblins."
More snickering and that terrible giggling from all of them.
"No Grumpypants, we know we are tougher than goblins, but thank you for your cooperation." Serena says and leaves the stockade, locking it again when Banjo is finished inside. "Well it looks like we have to take the way through the pantry." She says as the team is gathered again.
“It’s not all bad news. Apparently the ‘scary worm’ I heard them warning each other about in the trophy room was actually a “wyrm.’ With a Y. To the larder!”
“If we run into this hobgoblin fellow while I still look like Grumpypants, should I tell him I’ve sold out the tribe for gold and blow raspberries at him? Or would that be too cheeky?”

Recognising that a dragon might be dangerous, as well as any other dwellers of this citadel, Livia decides to put on her magical defenses again. Though it is early, and thus she might have to spend some time without them if they only hold as long as they did the other day, she concludes that going in without them would be foolish.
Once she's done with that, seeing the others are still unsure about which way they should take, Livia touches Tresvar's arm. "Whichever way you choose, I'm sure it'll be the right one." She offers confidence, even if her words are based merely on a personal feeling.
(Sorry very busy weekend!). “Yes, to the larder. I find calling dragonkind Wyrms deeply disrespectful, they are nothing like those creatures in the dirt!” She laughs anyway and winks at Banjo.
"I think we only have the way through the pantry still open to us. Let's go now." Serena says and sneaks off to the door at the other end of the pantry, listening at it. Perception: 4 Unless she hears anything suspicious she then quietly opens it and peeks inside. Stealth: 20 Perception: 14
Banjo follows close behind Serena. If they run into any more commoner goblins he plans to try to fast talk their way around them.

Serena hears nothing prior to opening the door. She opens it with great care such that it reveals the scene behind it without a noise.
Several torches mounted in crude sconces burn fitfully around this chamber, filling the air with a haze. A double row of marble columns carved with entwining dragons runs the length of the hall. From the pantry door, she can just make out a door at the other ((western)) side of the hall, about 55 feet away.

As the group walks slowly across the hall, you start to see additional doors on the north and south walls of the hall as well. The north wall has Three doors evenly spaced and the south wall has one door, near the west end of the hall.
Most of the group moves quietly enough, with the odd squeak from Tresvar's armor.
