Pardot's flames dance creating eerie shadows on the walls of floors. Ludolf sees skulls lots of them buried in a think layer of dust. There are no other doors or ways out of this room. All of the lids of the sarcophagi are closed.

"Yes, unless there is some secret exit out of this ghastly tomb I strongly suggest we try the other door." Ludolf says in a lowered voice, putting his ear to the other door to listen for sounds beyond.
(You are on a roll! I guess get those 1's out now)
While Pardot looks through the tomb Ludolf presses and ear against the door and hears the sound of the ocean... but that doesn't make much sense... ah, it appears the fog and steam from the other room has caused you ears to be very clogged and congested...

Muttering about the humid environment and mage brands, Ludolf tries to manually clean his ears, inclining his head to the door, hoping someone else can investigate that route.
Listening to the silence, wishing that his flame gave off some heat, Pardot says, "We're underground... and they are chanting something above us. Perhaps getting ready for our 'sacrifice'? Though... someone has been through here recently. The dust has been disturbed."As he walks over the areas where the dust is moved, he slowly meanders towards a pile of skulls, and sends a mental message to Daventry saying, "Dav... there is something watching us from the skulls here... come help me. We may need to grab it."
Gunnar nods and then in a loud voice says, "I am always ready! I am Gunnar the Bold not Gunnar the Unprepared! Now let's go and see what wonderful adventure awaits here in this creepy room!"He strides in with a smile on his face and a skip in his step. The three of you advance while the rest wait at the door.
Cathbad shakes his head and says quietly to Triäsa and Ludolf, "It's a miracle we weren't caught sooner with this oaf leading the way..."
Dandelion looks impatient but continues to focus on her spell as a means to distract herself from the delay.
The three amigos make their way into the tomb. It quiet and dusty. Whatever is hiding the skulls makes no move but as you get closer Pardot can make out almost human appearing eyes and a light purple complexion.

Holding a hand backwards as a sign for those following him to stop approaching, Pardot looks to the eyes, clearly attempting to make eye contact, and speaks calmly, clearly, and quietly, putting as much trust and empathy into his voice as possible, saying, "We aren't with the evil snake-folk. We're trying to get out of here. If you'd like to join come with us and we will help you."

Once the sleep spell works, Triäsa stops her singing and follows the others through the lava cavern. Out of that place, she continues to follow, now waiting to see what three investigating this tomb will find.
Encouraged by your words a dark haired, purple skinned tiefling cautiously pops her head up sending a few of the skulls rolling down from their pile onto the stone floor. "We are all going to die here you know. They took Sarai when I tried to escape. She's probably long dead with others... Shorty, Vitya I am sure they are rotting in the bellies of the snake people." She looks lost, far into the distance "Might as well stay here with the dead and wait to join them." Her eyes focus on Gunnar for the first time, "Oh hey Gunnar. I see you're not dead... yet... If you want you can wait here and die with me."
Gunnar leans over and tries to whisper (he fails) "That's Maxx. Joined the crew a few years back when we saved her from a Doomsdays Cult... Always been a bit of a pessimist though this is a bit much."

"Yes, yes, you can of course stay if you want Maxx, but I believe the rest of us still have the intention of leaving this place now. We should hurry though, there can only be a short while before the vile snake people realizes we have escaped." Ludolf says a bit impatiently. Ready to go the other way.
Pardot nods and replies after Ludolf saying, "Maxx, he's being a bit harsh, but he's right. Staying is guaranteed death, but follow us if you want at least a chance to escape." He then holds a hand out in a gesture to follow. On their way out he covers up his staff and flame again, ready to follow the others to find the exit.
Daventry shakes her head at Pardot. "Hold off on killing the light just yet." She eyes up Maxx, then retrieves the rapier and shortsword from her bag. "One of these is yours, I reckon. If not, well, I have all your group's gear in here, so take your pick. I'm Daventry, pleased to see someone else who isn't a genocidal snake monster."
She looks to the sarcophogi, particularly the one that seems prominently on the dias. "The dead won't mind helping our escape, perhaps. Pardot, could use your eyes to help."

Daventry the ascends the dais, the lid is ornate and heavy, but you don't see any traps or alarms. Whoever built this place probably figured getting here would be enough of a hassle further protections would not be needed. You are strong enough with the crowbar to pry the lid free and slide it to the side. There is a large mummified lizard corpse laying in the tomb. It is adorned with a giant battleaxe.
As you look into the sarcophagus you hear a shattering sound as the lids to two of the smaller tombs shatter and mummified lizardmen leap from their slumber. You turn your attention back to the mummified remains in front of you and discover this mummy has sat up and is now clutching it's battleaxe ready to strike
From the back of the room you hear Dandelion hiss, "Just couldn't leave them alone could you!"
In contrast Gunnar is giddy with the oncoming battle, "Let's vanquish this evil! Rip their undead heads clean from their rotten necks!"

Triäsa quickly motions towards Serpent Mummy 3, callng for the arcane magic to cast [spell]Fire Bolt;Force Bolt[spell]. (Spell Attack: 15 Damage: 6 force)
As she starts to move back, she sings a few words praising Daventry's valor, granting her Bardic Inspiration (1d8 added to ability check, attack roll, or saving throw). She moves back to C1.

As the mummies begin to stir from their rest, Pardot knows they haven't time for this, so turns towards mummy 3 near the entrance and, pointing his staff at it, calls forth a guiding bolt.

With a quick reflex Triäsa launches a bolt of force at the mummy unfortunately it sails wide. Thankfully, Pardot's attack strikes true ripping some of the creatures wrappings and staggering it just a bit.

Maxx seems to almost smile as the fight breaks out but she hides it well as she climbs the dais to C10, "Death will come for us but I suppose I need not make it too easy." She swings her rapier at Mummy 1
Blood pours from Cathbad's nose as the creature strikes him soundly. Maxx stabs the Mummy with the battleaxe through abdomen, however, her attack does not seem slow it as much as you would expect.
