Dropping and rolling around his opponent Xyran brings his rapier up, and tries for a behind the backstab. "I had him right where I wanted him I tell ya." Attack: 13 Damage: 20
OOC: Using up my Inspiration because I assume...13 doesn't hit? 11
OOC: I literally can't roll above a 7 huh? I'm so tilted right now.
Xyran then disengages and starts moving towards Captain Lannary Storm, (If she's still around)
[ooc]healing word is a bonus action. You still have your action if you want. (If not, that’s cool)
OOC: I know, but thought ( RP wise ) that Driss is pretty shaken from the ordeal and got up, looking around and ready action in case he gets attacked are enough for him.

Xyran's foe (21, 11) attacks. Xyran parries. The conquistador looks around. He salutes and says, in lightly accented Trade-Tongue, "The tides have turned. Were I to stay, I should be outnumbered and brought down by sheer numbers, if nothing else. I am Ulric Vela, and I look forward to crossing swords with you again." Then he leaves.
The vampire now in melee with Adrima tries to grapple her (15 opposed by 15), but she dodges, so he switches to trying to impale her while he still can (21), but she catches his blade with the prongs of her trident and twists, forcing him to drop it, then counterattacks (16, 12 damage), catching him in the throat and killing him.
Polly's tame vampire tries to return, but is cut down.
The most immediate danger over, you regroup near the entrance to the Shark's Fang and look around.
To your right, where there used to be a Dire Fleet orc battlemage, a swarm of Legion vampires, and a wood floor that was once part of a ship, there is now rather a lot of ocean, with a Dire Fleet orc battlemage swimming in it. To your left, Captain Storm and the pirates currently under her command are still in the thick of the battle, and loving it. Above and behind you, Admiral Brass--yes, Admiral Beckett Brass--yes, that one--is standing in what was once a crow's nest, shouting orders, coordinating defenses and counterattacks, and taking the occasional potshot with a hand crossbow.
In the sky, the sirens now outnumber the skymarchers. Directly in front of you, the fight seems to be thinning.
A siren swoops down in front of you and squawks, "Orders from Admiral Brass! Squawk! Follow me! Squawk!" She then swoops off, navigating a path through the chaos. You follow her--orders from Admiral Brass, after all--and somehow manage to reach the vampires' ship without incident. It looms above you, dark, foreboding, and menacing.
"Squawk! Admiral Brass says 'go in there and kill the shadowmage'!" Squawk! Good luck! Squawk!" She flies off.
OOC: Xyran gets inspiration for roleplaying overconfidence in the face of a superior foe, Arcturis gets inspiration for giving the rest of the party a reason to trust him, and everyone (including Arcturis and Xyran) gets inspiration for . . . reasons. I'd like to remind you all that, in my games, inspiration stacks and functions like non-renewable Luck Points, as per the Lucky feat.

Everyone, you see a rather large ramp, starting right in front of you and ending on the deck of the dreadnought.
