"how about you take this one, I can't carry the entire team now can I?" Dusty jokes with Winchester before loudly speaking through the locked door in his song songy voice "Knock Knock cowardly mayor, the time for surrendering is now, you could even leave this place with your life... unless you wish for us to continue?"
The old dwarf halts behind building maybe 80 feet from the mayor's mansion, his eyes rolling upward (the freshly oiled one moving a tad faster as the other makes a gritty sound) as he leans against the wall.
Any passerby might hear him muttering to himself, but the locals have almost instinctually been avoiding the dwarf, so he figures no one's going to bother him.

(So, is the party going to try getting through the door and heading up? I'm just going to be botting Isoldus for now, though I'm not going to make him make any unilateral decisions, even if it might be against his nature in some places)

"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
(Okay, but I'll assume Isoldus decides to go up with the other two.)
Hugeo already tetaches his lockpicking tools from the place in which they're stored on his metallic body, ready to open the first door when Dusty blasts it open. 'Whichever way goes', he thinks. When the others reach the second locked door, and this time Dusty doesn't blast away, Hugeo makes a way between them. "There are subtler ways to open a door, you know." Hugeo states as he tries to unlock the door.
With the clunk of the unlocking door, Dusty chuckles at Hugeo's remark and quips back, "unlocking the door is but the first step mister metal, from the sounds of it, I think you'll find the door still firmly blocked. Here... I'll give you a hand" Dusty braces his shoulder against the door ready to shove and gives a nod to the others to do the same.
(Help action from Dusty to whoever wants to shove the doors wide)
The door unlocks easily, and as Hugeo stands aside, Isoldus takes his place.
"Move aside. I shall open the door."
Athletics: 26
The door is initially unbudging, but as Dusty adds his weight to Isoldus' it suddenly explodes open, whatever was jammed under the handle exploding into splinters. Isoldus gives an appreciative grunt to Dusty, smoke curling from his nostrils.
The room is similar to the others you have seen, a few other doors leading into others, though the only important exit is the one that the Mayor escapes up at this moment, an orcish woman leaving just behind him, worry evident in her eyes. Inside the room a well-dressed half-orc servant stands trembling, pointing a revolver at the door. His hands shake and his voice quivers as he speaks.
Dusty strides in and rolls his eyes at the servant not stopping but not rushing the panicked help "come now, you aren't a guard and even they couldn't stop us, you are out numbered, and you don't want to lay down your life for a mayor who is oppressively using this whole town, likely your family included, to fulfill his meaningless and frankly crazed worship of a dead god.
Cast aside the gun before you hurt yourself" Dusty states clearly and decisively to the shaky servant, not stopping in his stride advancing confidently toward the mayor's exit door. (Persuasion 13)
The servant doesn't need very much convincing. His revolver clatters to the floor and he leans up against the wall, breathing heavily and shaking, staring up at the party with wide eyes as they pass. Judging from the view outside, the stairs here must lead up to the final floor of the house. The door has been slammed shut, perhaps a bit too hard as the wood is somewhat splintered in places.

"onward we go!" Dusty trills as he scoops up the revolver that the servant dropped, pockets it and merrily proceeds forth, "Same again!" he puts his shoulder hard up against the door waiting for the more sturdy party members to do the majority of the pushing as they attempt to burst through the final doors. (help action once more)

Once again, Isoldus takes up the role of doorbuster, putting his full weight into it.

The door crumples with ease. On the inside, the Mayor can be seen, along with an orcish woman dressed in similar fashion to him. Coiled around the Mayor's Barh'Aht, which the DM definitely didn't forget about until now. Standing in front of both is a younger orc, his body not yet swollen with age like those of the two older orcs which stand behind him. While the arms of the older orcs are both marked with the branching scar that their outfits display proudly, the younger one's arm is notably unmarred. Despite this, he holds it up at the party as they approach, as if it will do something against them. Unlike the servant before, he does not tremble.
"Va'khe," rumbles the Mayor in a panicked tone, "what are you doing?" The young orc does not respond, only holds his arm steady, fierce determination on his face.
(Oh, also, I forgot to respond to spider. Unless Cathy has actually entered the house, she is unsure of the exact details of what's going on. However, through hearing the bangs and shouting, she has a basic idea of which floor everyone is on, that being the top, though not yet on the roof.)

Hugeo slowly steps sideways, away from the group. Didn't the mayor mention the powers of lightning in their family? That held arm, with this much determination, made him feel uneasy. "To be honest, I don't have any personal quarrel with you, anymore. Even this man here", he indicates Dusty, "doesn't have any reason to want your life, I believe. If you leave this place and never return, no more of your blood will be spilt."
Hugeo knows he's not the most charming fella out there, and thus, does not expect his words to work. He is ready for a fight, shall one break, and especially wary of any bolts of lightning. (Taking the Dodge action, if it will matter.)
"You ended any chance for diplomacy the moment you stabbed me. This is my town, these are my people, and you come here, disturb the peace, try and kill me, and now you want to talk about it? I am Dom'e Edig'Gaur, son of Dom'e Bashi'Gaur, grandson of Dom'e Arhd'Guar, bloodson of Lahi, Mayor of Anth'Aur, last of the Lahi'Gaur. And I will not bow to the likes of you."
Edig steps back, moves to the wall. He pushes back his molehide cloak, revealing a sheathed dagger at his side. When he draws it, the blade is translucent, angular, like it was carved out of a chunk of glass. He brandishes it, pointing it at the group.
"This weapon sat at my father's side, as he held court among his fellow Lahi'Gaur, before Anth'Tkur fell. He never had to use it, because people knew to respect his power. I am honored to be its wielder, when it first tastes blood."
Then, slowly, despite the protestations of the female orc, Edig advances, raising the knife.

"Have it your way." Hugeo has used the time to focus his Chromium eye on the young Orc's vital points. It takes a moment to do, but he had enough time during the Orc's presentation. His hand flicks, perfectly aimed, throwing the dagger at the younger Orc. Even before the dagger hit, he already draws his second one with the other hand.
BA: Steady Aim.
Action: Attack: 17 Damage: 12.
If the dagger hit, Hugeo's eye flashes for a moment, and the mayor's wound starts to bleed, as if he was stabbed again, as if the wound remembers its past and tries to repeat it. (Using Wails From the Grave to deal 4 Necrotic damage to the mayor).
Winchester is met by another locked door, and two pairs of footsteps pounding away.
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
Winchester looks back to Dusty expectantly. "Got another one of those kicks lined up?"
"how about you take this one, I can't carry the entire team now can I?" The only response Dusty gets is a muffled "frrck yrr" and the sound of something else slamming against the door, before the steps fade away.

@DM
Has Thardoran, via Cathy, been able to track progress of the party through the manor, or is she able to see the Mayor in the room he's currently in?
