On deck Keth sees a gale that shakes him to his core. The torrential rain and howling winds whip your faces as the ship itself bobs in the merciless sea.
Roll perception either Keth or Val!!

Kiera turns to Aerlian and holds out her hand, “ I guess we are in for a bumpy ride!” She yells over the storm. “Do you think using a spell will help us?”

"I don't know what I could to help with that, I can make a strong gust of wind but that's pretty much the opposite of what we need! I'm open to any ideas though. Can you see anything out here that could be useful?"
As he says this Aerlian starts looking about the deck for signs of anything going that could help them with their predicament or the cause of it.
Val spots a light in the distance, you aren't familiar with the sea enough to know if it's another ship or land. The storm however you see begins to calm and the deck is littered with loose debris from around the ship as well as what was washed on deck from the storm.
Now all assembled on deck the storm begins to ebb. The wind are dying down and the rain begins to lighten up.You then hear them...the soft caws at first then they begin louder and louder. As winded humanoids begin to disend on the ship in the storm's wake.
I need everyone to roll initiative please!! Roll nature or investigation to riddle out the coming combatants!

Seeing the creatures getting closer Valwarin reaches out for a piece of oak’s bark and mutters sone words while pressing the bark against his skin. Soon his skin has the color and consistency of the oak’s bark
Edit: didnt wrote well the number of the spell. In another post today it started changing the rolls every time I edited it. Just in case I got a 19 total in both rolls
OOC: Not worries, with mobile edits I just quote my posts then edit them like that and it doesn't manipulate the rolls!
Keth and Aerlian the storm clouds are far too thick for you to make it out.
Val
You spot 3 harpies in the distance descending towards the ship!! They are about 400ft above the boat and streaking towards y'all fast!! You know, having fought them before, that Harpies among their sharp clawed feet and clubs they sing an alluring song that if heard everyone who fails a DC 10 Wiz save will be charmed until the Harpies stop singing.

Aerlian moves to within 10' of Keth, behind him if possible "I hope we can still defeat them without all our spells then, I don't know if you noticed but some of us aren't exactly warriors!" He then checks his dagger is loose in it's sheath.
Aerlian also readies Fire bolt when they get within 120' if he can cast then.
"Let's get up on deck at least. See how bad the storm is and if we can manage it." Keth says making his way to the stairs that lead upwards.
Valwamir follows him
