"Is there anything in particular you'd like me to do? I don't want to get in the way but I can't just sit here and let you do all the work. I'm not the worst cook in the world but I just have rations, nothing exciting I'm afraid. Do you need any firewood, I can go and find some. Of course if you have alternatives..." "Yes please do," Divis calls smirking as Hen hisses at him flickering her tail, which has stayed hidden under her cloak until that moment, as him catching him on the bum as he chuckles loudly.
"Oh gathering firewood would also be helpful," Hen offers you another chore. "Lisalyth if you'd like to help Aerlian gather wood too," she says before turning to Kiera with a smile. "Kiera if you would find some stones for the fire ring for this evening," she offers next as Kiera nods happily and goes to work gathering stone to build the stone ring.
Kiera stays in earshot of Hen and Divis however keep an eye out for all of you while you to your task as they continue to set up camp.

"I'm not much of an outdoors man to be honest, I think we should be alright though, we are both smart people - how hard can it be? I know it is better if we get dry wood and we'll need small sticks and kindling too. Hopefully there will be enough that has fallen that we won't have to go too far!"

"Sounds about my thoughts! If our ancient, small-brained ancestors could gather sticks, I'm sure we should have no problem of it!"
While they walk, Lisalyth decides to get to know Aerlian better. "So you said you worked in a library? That must have been amazing. Why did you come to Windfall?"
"Yes I did work in a library, my parents got me the job there to be able to research anything arcane that was stored there. Obviously the most dangerous things aren't left lying around where anyone can get hold of them but it was still useful. But to be honest it was pretty much my ideal job anyway. I love studying, I know it sounds arrogant but I know I'm clever, learning comes easy to me and I like it so working in a genuine seat of learning was hardly a chore. But after a while you realise that all the learning in the world doesn't mean anything if you don't use it. Legerdemain will give me a chance to make a difference."
He pauses, realising it was quite a big outpouring to a relative stranger, but turns back to Lisalyth.
"So how about you, I know we have the same way of using arcane magic but I know very little about you. Why are you here and who were you before you set out on this journey?"

"Er, well, long and short story I suppose. The short of it is that my family was a little less nurturing. They decided that they needed to make it impossible for me to access magic, because otherwise I would get myself into trouble. They didn't want me going off and joining a coven and dying at the hands of some bad people - Inquisitors, I guess! To be quite frank I hadn't physically left my home until I came to Windfall. Like, ever. I guess I'm here because it was a place to go, you know? A place where there are people with skills and talents like mine, and where I'm... Where I'm free. I don't really know who I was, or who I am, but I do know that I want that."
"Side-note, but I certainly don't think you're arrogant to say that you're clever. If it is then, I suppose we're both arrogant."
"We need to get back to the camp, right now." Aerlian pauses momentarily and casts mage armor on himself. "I saw you cast this earlier, I'm assuming it is still active. I think something is wrong, Divis and Henwyn are arguing about a rider of some sort and I don't know if you've seen but there are lights flickering on and off around us. Hopefully it's nothing but we should be safe not sorry and get back to the others".

As they get back into the camp Aerlian moves towards Henwyn and Divis and asks, quietly but firmly "Is there anything you'd like to tell us? Anything about a rider or the blue globes flickering away out there? We know we are being followed, but you seem to have a difference of opinion as to whether or not we should worry. How about a little more information - why should we be scared or not?" Turning to Divis he says "And before you tell me to stay out of your mind I haven't tried, and I won't, but you both need to learn to whisper if you want to keep secrets."
