Eldin and Adair's debate reaches deadlock with neither party being able to perfectly counter the other's arguments. As both sides run out of things to say which may refute the other, Eldin finally shrugs and ends the debate by saying, "... Did I mention how awesome he is?"
"Arena? That's it! Combat will recharge my powers using what is extraplanar beings call "experience points". Haha you fool! Once I regain my strength I will claim this quadrant as my own!"
Parabolus cackles to himself and exits the building and tries his best to follow Nylah's directions.

Parabolus, Truth turns to you as you cackle and looks you over with a critical eye. "We've had stranger. After all, There's no butter on yer head... If you'd like to participate simply fill out these forms." She hands you a couple of sheets, and adds. "Welcome to Faerûn."
Between the end of the debate and the weird cackling Grianne is awoken from her catnap. Groggy, she sees Eldin and tries to get his attention the best way she knows. She uses her Druidcraft to flicker candles near him.
As the fighters from the recent match return, one in particular drew in attention with some rather loud praying. Liam was never one for religion, and the way that person spoke was one of the reasons why. They were loud, annoying, and so sure of their own words that it was unsettling. He just continued to wait in his little spot for the next match to start. Maybe it would calm his nerves.

Liam the Weak: Level 4 Human Fighter - Trying to fight against his other personality, and constantly losing.
Aodh: Level 20 Half-Elf Cleric of Life - Not really. It's a strange being that had possessed and broke down a level 20 Cleric of Life Domain, gaining his knowledge and power.
"*****": Level 1 Tiefling Sorcerer - Her family is dead, and her will is broken. She follows orders so that those that command her will allow her to die.
((...I just realized Liam doesn't have nearly enough gold for any sort of serious betting. Is debt or alternative options for repayment a thing here?))

(You'll have gold soon. If you want to go into debt I'm sure a player would be happy to take advantage. There's also a job board though little has been posted.)
A board near the entrance has few advertisements. The days specials are posted, as well as a message indicating a need for a bartender. Below the board is a discarded plank of wood with hastily scrawled red letters. It reads "Fight me!"
Gewonnt walks into the bar and, although he does have several new scars and puncture points, he does not seem displeased with himself. He beckons to Eldin and leads him to his room. "Congratulations on your recent victory. It was well-earned." Gewonnt takes out a large pouch containing 400 gold. "Now, let's talk business. I've got a job for you. How much do you want for it?"

Horatio Hirschfeld - Squire imbued with fae powers, in the Coliseum of Conquest (W2/L1) DM for Reavers of Harkenwold, and sometimes The Fighting Grounds of the Coliseum
Liam found that other spectators had begun to gather near him. Though they were probably not doing it on purpose, he felt uncomfortable, so he proceeded to go find a new spot. Who knows? Maybe he would even find something else to keep him distracted. Sure enough, he eventually noticed a board. It didn't seem like much at first, but there was a strange sign nearby. It was a little off-putting, what with the red writing and the sheer lack of detail, but it certainly stuck out a lot more. He picked up the plank of wood, wondering if someone had already accepted the challenge. That must have been why is was tossed aside, right? Or maybe it was simply because of its lack of detail that it was ignored? He didn't know.
Liam did not know why he was so curious about the sign, but he was. That was just about it, really. Simple curiosity...

(Sorry I misunderstood your post initially. Eldin is free to go see Grianne whenever he wants, and I will be on hold until he's finished with her. Just thought I would post now, since Eldin said he was waiting for me and I didn't want to make him wait any longer. And Grianne, have you ever seen candles that don't flicker? I suppose your grogginess and lack of knowledge of civilization can excuse you this once.)

((I guess Liam just has a random sign saying "FIGHT ME" now...I guess I'll have him try to go do whatever for now... Maybe I'll just have him work on that item for now. Maybe I'll even try a hand at pickpocketing or something later.))
Liam had found a spot to sit down soon after picking up the small sign. There, he waited to see if anyone would come for it. Nobody did. That was to be expected, but Liam couldn't help but be a little disappointed. He secretly hoped that someone would claim it and satisfy the small amount of curiosity he had for it. But it was not to be...But now his attention must return to his inactivity. He felt it rising again. That feeling...He didn't want it to come out just yet. He didn't want it to come out at all. That was one of the reasons he came here, after all. To work his way through it, and...Liam needed something to distract him. No dice, nodeck of cards, no book-He had nothing practical or normal to use as a distraction. He would need to improvise for now.
The man set down his backpack, and shuffled through it to find the rope. He pulled all 50 feet of it out, and coiled it up around his arm until he reached an end. He then took one of his hand axes, and proceeded to tie the rope end around the haft. He took some time fiddling around with different knots until he found one that he was sure wouldn't slip off the weapon. In an effort to keep himself distracted with it, he continued to just stare at it and think of situations where he would use it.
