"so, Eldin, Calgin, why did you two become gladiators"
"Tis a long story, but I was sold into slavery in a fighting ring as an exotic monster when I was little more than a child. I managed to win my freedom eventually, and try to use my skills to help people and prevent things like what happened to myself, but I still enjoy gladiatorial bouts when I have the chance. As long as it's against opponents who are also fighting of their own free will. I will not fight slaves who have no choice."
The door is unlocked and Eldin enters freely. Gewonnt paces as he did last time, you notice a set of packs that seem to be designed for wind creatures and a wooden chest next to them. There is little else in the room, Gewonnt's possessions are nowhere to be seen, although they could be in the packs or the chest. "The wind dukes of Aaqa have called. I must answer. It is a great honour, to quest for the rod of seven parts, and I must leave immediately. I have learned much during my stay here, but it is unlikely that I shall return from this voyage." Gewonnt begins to strap the packs to his body. "There is 4780 gold coins and 39 silver in the chest that I won't be needing any more. You can take your payment from their, and use the rest for the Glory's upkeep. Farewell."

Eldin shouts, "Wait! So you're leaving? This would mean that I will no longer be able to report back to you about my findings. If that's the case, I will not accept any further payment as this job will have to remain incomplete."
"Alright, use it all for the Glory, or distribute it among the poor, or bury it. Or you could build a shrine to the Gods, in my honour. Yes, I like that last one."

Eldin nods. After Gewonnt leaves, he will take the gold with him. Later at night, he wonders what he should do with it. He doesn't want to take it for himself and he doesn't want to go through the trouble of making a temple for Gewonnt. He keeps it for the night. The next day, he will give it to Adair to keep it as Glory funds. He sits down to watch the level-6 fight while having breakfast. No longer needing to go to Baldur's gate, he wonders what he would do for the day.
