Harmond responds, "Sounds like a good idea as long as dickheads aren't appointed commander. And let me tell you, the post of commander either turns people into dickheads high on power or turns them into nervous wrecks from the pressure."
Grianne smiles Very true. And passing on what i was taught seems like a good way to repay mother and the other creatures of the forest. If you would though Grianne says after a pause, could you help me and Eldin look into the issue of spelljammers and deep magic? I fear we are having a hard time if it ourselves.

Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 12 (8W-4L)- - Coliseum of Conquest: Master of Faerie Fire. Just don't ask her to spell it.

Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild
The muscular half orc figure of Gorbal stops briefly outside of the glory. His upper half bare save for a few cauterized arcanic glyphs.
Leaning on his wooden staff he considers entering the glory once more before a though crashes through his head. I must find some more spells for my book. He muses.
Looking around he tries to survey any shops nearby for any akin to a bookstore.
(Ok, well I've been looking at the latest coliseum fight and it seems really complex, Do you get pmed when it's your turn to battle? It looked like it was 5v5 too which also seems really complicated)
(I will PM you each time I post a fight you're eligible for.)
(@Bobo: In I want to say half, though I may be off a bit, of your matches in LST's arena -- Henry, dual-wielding lances(d12 weapons), was not only able to attack at reach, but also immediately disengage if need be using his mount. And if anyone /did/ manage to get in melee with you, you ran off to kill off their friends with virtually no consequences using said horse. To top it off, there's was even one point in which you were supposedly strapped down to the horse, allowing it to freely disengage and run your unconscious body away to be healed up if I recall correctly.)
(Despite the 1st loss due mostly to bad rolls, it was a wee brutal. And is only become increasingly so until some spellcasters breakout the big guns at higher levels, and not get run over like Larry currently is.)
(Its 1 week based on ic days Brian_Avery. Which you track based on the matchs time. So, if you decide to do one that takes more than a day... yeah, good luck. Probably won't see that scroll for 3 months.)
Morthos will enter the Glory, in very casual clothes, looking a bit unhealthy and groggy as time has gone by a bit for him. He'll take a seat at the bar ordering an Ale and some sort of 'healthy option' for a meal.
(Lol yes ill order the ninth level scroll, and ill ve back next year for that. Ive never actually checked this table out)
"Magic for survival I think would fit just fine. Not much point in fending off bandits if you can keep yourself fed and hydrated after all."

"Yeah, sure whatever." Harmond says dismissively. After collecting Toren's cup and cleaning it, he grabs a mug and pours himself some Elvish Ale.

Harmond hands him ale and a salad. He says, "What's the matter with you? You on a diet or something?"
