Grianne seems to be wrapped up in her head space contemplating how to beat Edier. She has her notebook out and several of what might be considered words scribbled on the page. She doesn't see or smell Edlin at this time

Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 12 (8W-4L)- - Coliseum of Conquest: Master of Faerie Fire. Just don't ask her to spell it.
Grianne Wildpaw: Wood Elf Druid level 6 (2W-1L)- - Coliseum Reborn : Master of a Myriad of forms.
Runt, the Stormchosen: Half-Orc barbarian level 5 -- The Guild
Grianne looks up from her work in a moment of clarity. She sees Eldin for the first time today and practically falls over everything in her rush to get to him. She throws her arms around him in a tight hug, nearly takling him. Hi, she sais with much enthusiasm I've been waiting for you. I think I figured some thing out. Come sit with me and maybe you can see if my idea will work. She will try to lead Eldin by the hands to the table she was working at that somehow stayed upright.

Zevryl suddenly has an idea, and heads to Eldin. He waits for his conversation with Grianne to finish, then begins to talk. "I jus' had an idea. What if for an hour or two every day, we reduced prices by a bit. We'd make less per person, but it'd attract enough people to result in profit!"

Basil comes in and posts a sheet on the bulletin board.
"What madness would you like to see in the next battle? Similar teams competing, or competitors paired along with a similar specialty? Place your vote here!"
Below the notice he sets a box where viewers can drop a slip of paper.
Grianne whispers to Eldin So you know how you have been teaching me to read and write? And that we both have access to some magic. And how that magic is limited because we only have so much energy we expend on it right? Well what if we used writing and magic at the same time? Grianne looks at Eldin, hoping he will notice how she looks but still enthralled in her own idea. I was thinking, since paper is made from trees and trees have a small connection to the natural magic of the world, we might be able to imbue some of our magical energy into the paper using writing as a medium for later use. That way we can have some of our spells in the paper to help when we are running low in battle. What do yo think ?

Eldin says, "I'm not sure if that is even possible but if it is, that's a great idea. I came up with my own idea to deal with our wizard rivals." He whispers to Grianne in elvish,
"I have managed to make 3 different types of bombs. If I use it right, I may be able to do something.
Anyway, I digress. Do you want to come with me to test your plan out? I know a place where we can go to try out our experimental ideas and see if they work."
Eldin taps his noes and says, "You'll have to find out on the next battle."
Nykkan starts working on his next brew
(If I remember correctly, you wanted me to add my wisdom modifier to it)
Brewer's: 18
Nykkan Fharngnarthnost: Dragonborn Monk (4)...Coliseum of Conquest (3) {1W-6L} [Brewer]

"I'll take yer word fer it. Ye should prob'ly wash up though. No offense, but ye kinda stink."
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
"Yeah, you're right." Eldin goes to wash up.

Eldin, after coming back, notices Grianne and notices her make up. He decides to not comment and leave her to think.

Eldin follows Grianne to the table to see what she's come up with.
(Does the glory have a happy hour?)
"Ignorance is bliss, and you look absolutely miserable."
(No. What's happy hour?)
(Also, are there any holidays coming up(In this world, not real life)?)
