Eldin smiles and gets some strong ale. "That will be 1 gold. My friend? He's a very cheery sort of fellow. Almost always laughing. In fact, he's down there fi-" Eldin notices the unconscious Josias and freezes mid-sentence
He recovers and continues, "Uh. There's a human cleric that's really powerful." He points to the level 2 fight and says, "See that wood elf girl down there? She's pretty promising." He then points to Shmitty and says, "That guy down there also knows what he's doing." He points back to the level 6 fight and says, "That's Toren over there. He's pretty scary in combat."
Nalok flips the tiefling 2 gold coins and downs the ale in a single swig.
"I'll be sure to be keeping a eye on them then! The mightier the foe, the more honor their is in defeating them! So what about yourself, do you have many accomplishments under your belt? Also, I don't believe caught you name good fellow."
Eldin seems surprised at the coin flip and fumbles to catch it a bit. He hands the 2 gold to Connor and says, "Me? Well... I did get hit by an axe thrown from all the way down there." He points to the arena. "Then there was the time I feel off a chair. I'm also half-owner of this tavern. Those are my accomplishments." Eldin says, keeping his weapon test results a secret. He then repeats his name, "I'm Eldin. I told you that already." Eldin looks around and whispers, "Are you looking for a mercenary?"
Nalok looks to were Eldin points and then whistles. "Thats some throwing arm they must of had, be the half own of a tavern is no small feat in my regard, so you must be pretty good if you had the gold to be able to afford it!"
Nalok raise's his non existent eyebrow at Eldins question.
"No I don't believe so, I intend to be staying here in the coliseum for a fair while now, Why do you ask?"
"I come to fight in the name of Thor! I seek to amuse with him splendid battles of valor and heroism and to further my own skills, I heard tales of the battles that were fought here by a traveling merchant and knew it to be a sign from Thor that I should seek my ways here, and so here I am."
A deep blue skinned Tiefling comes upon the gates to the coliseum and saunters inside with a bit of a kick in his step after finally reaching his destination. Manikin is the name he goes by, walking through the area looking around, taking in all of the sights, sounds and smells that the Coliseum has to offer, while lightly tossing an orb up into the air and catching it as it comes back down. He finds his way to the stands and is, frankly, a bit overwhelmed by everything he sees.

Harmond spots the blue Tiefling and comments, "Huh. Looks like we're getting an influx of teflings. If I recall, old bug-face was the only tiefling in the arena for a long time."
Manikin overhears Harmond's comment and looks over to him "Do you have a problem with more Tieflings entering into the arena, sir? Perhaps its because word of the Coliseum has grown as a place where wayward souls can go to carve out a niche for themselves, and I, apparently, shouldn't have to tell you that few souls are as wayward as a Tiefling's."

Manikin saunters up next to Harmond, and puts his arm around Harmond's shoulders, grinning a bit "Is that a fact? Well if you don't have a problem with tieflings, perhaps you won't have a problem buying one a drink?"
"Sorry mate, I have trouble paying for my own drinks, let alone drinks of others." He points to Eldin, "I'd tell you to ask bug-face but I don't think he'll give you a free drink. His pockets look a lot lighter now than they did this morning."
Manikin takes his arm from Harmond's shoulder, his face splaying an exaggerated frown "hmph. I guess goodwill only gets you so far around these parts. Well perhaps instead you wouldn't mind showing a newcomer the ropes, giving him the old grand tour?" He waves his arm around in a grand fashion, gesturing to the arena at large.

"Tell me about it." Sighs Harmond. He then continues speaking, "Right now, you're in the Glory, a tavern that's part of the coliseum stands. This is where a large number of people, especially other combatants prefer to watch the fights. I'm no combatant myself but I can give you one very important piece of advice: get good!" He points to an elegant lady in a blue dress and says, "That's the secretary. Talk to her to get permission to have your hind handed to you in the arena." He then shifts his finger to a halfling bartender. "That's Connor. He's our bartender. I recommend Elvish ale if you drink and Kafe if you don't." He puts his hand down and continues, "The town has most common equipment you might need. That's about all you need to know."
