"Hello again, Connor. I have an idea for a new drink for the Glory. We used to drink a similar one in my monastery." He takes out the leaves he found. "If you put these in boiling water for a few minutes, they will infuse it with a magnificent flavour, maybe even better than Kafe."

It's a deep hole emerging at the root of a strong oak. You wouldn't be able to follow inside or continue your 'conversation'. Wildlife don't have a great sense of manners.
After Grianne finishes her breakfast she heads down to the Coliseum. She passes the buttons she pulled out earlier and hands them to other fighters. The marbled green one she hands to Calgin, the black leaf button to Shmitty and the crystal blue one goes to Eider. She tells them all that they are prized possessions and that they are to return them when next she bests them in combat.

Calgin looks at the marbled button, then up at Grianne. He doesn't understand exactly what the purpose is, but can tell that it is important to her. He tucks it into his belt before heading off to the coliseum for the next match.
Shmitty takes the button in the moment before the gates go up. Just looking at the Wood Girl overflowing with the power of nature made the buzzing in his ear spike. He pockets the button and begins to walk away. He stops at the mouth of the tunnel and looks back to Grianne, "Sister, please dont Faerie Fire me."
"Hiding behind that tree won't save you from whatever is coming, now we all have to face an unknown foe besides each other. And where is Baryk, I haven't seen him this whole time, it's not like him to be cowardly."
"That's right! Fight together against Baryk, otherwise you're just handing him the victory on a silver platter!"

Eldin pulls Harmond close and says, "I really want to see the match but unfortunately, I have to prepare for my own. I sense that it won't be long now. Watch the Glory for me."
Eldin heads into town to buy about 15 vials (20 ml each) of Alchemist's Fire and some poison.
Eldin, you don't have any trouble finding these. Their sold at the Tinker's shop. These days the shop is run by Roondar's quiet cousin Daroon. The poison will cost 100 gold. 1 flask of Alchemists fire (1 pint, weirdo) costs 50 gold. A smaller amount would be ineffective.
Eldin will pay for both but ask that the pint of Alchemist's fire be divided into 15 smaller vials. Says, "You know what? I think I'm going to need 2 flasks of oil too."
He takes 4 arrows from his quiver. He cuts suitable strands from the cloth he bough with his long sword and uses the cloth to tie a vial of Alchemist's Fire to the tip of an arrow so that the vial doesn't crack but it stays fixed in place. The idea is for the vial shatter and cause the Alchemist's fire to ignite when the arrow tip hits anything. DEX/Sleight of hand: 16 + Guidance: 19 (Accidentally rolled a d20+4 instead of d4. Here's the real guidance roll: 3)
He prepares 5 arrows this way. While preparing the last two, he soaks the cloth with oil after he finished tying it while making sure the vial doesn't slip off.
He shoots two dry cloth arrows and two oil soaked cloth arrows into the open area and pays close attention to how the arrows behave upon impact.
Eldin, Daroon responds, a bit on the whiney side, "Hughhh, that stuff's kinda dangerous... The bottles don't even have stoppers. Their just sealed glass bulbs... How much are you gonna pay me to ruin your perfectly good Alchemist's fire (flask) for you?"
Later in the field you find both your rag covered and oil soaked arrows, as you might expect, don't have the range of standard ammunition. You could probably get half the range using these arrows.
(Edit:) The oil soaked arrows light and burn like a Torch. The dry ones only release a small stream of smoke.

@BdaddLy, How big is the weasel den? Do I need to sit outside it to continue conversing with it?

Alright, I'll just say good bye, take note on where the weasel lives, and head back to the tavern.
(Is Eider still looking for Eldon?)
(Eider is lined up for combat, but yes he would very much like to thank Eldon in person and talk with him at length about magic and practicing it.)
