Using the distraction Argetlam tries to stab the two grappling with him, the sword popping one of them instantly and actually sinking into undead flesh with the second stab. He channels a second level smite into the attack and the vampire explodes off of him in a shower of gore, rapidly drying and turning to dust. He chugs a quick healing potion and backpedals closer to Sheridan. The three burnt vampires scream in rage and in unison cast Hold Person on him before advancing to take revenge on his rapidly locked form. The vampire by Draskan sees an oppportunity and flies towards Argetlam clawing at his armour to reveal his neck before biting him and draining him of vitae, healing the vampire for 7 HP and dealing 18 points of damage to Argetlam
Oriki closes the gap to the vampires back and plunges the short sword into it. The runes along the blades length flare with disruptive power and the vampire spawn explodes into a wave of ash as the infernal energies animating it are dissipated.
He calmly raises his hand crossbow with his off hand and fires it at the three vampires hopping around in the bonfire. The bolt strikes one of the capering figures and they pop out of existence
The eldritch blast strikes the actual vampire not one of his clones and knocks him back 10 ft. He is able to maintain concentration on his hold person spell however. Argetlam is unable to do anything other than try to break free from the spells effects. Which he does (nat 20) but is unable to do much else. The vampire takes another 7 damage as he retreats away from the bonfire, his one remaining clone following exactly. As he does so he tries to finish off Argetlam by draining his psyche. Argetlam takes 26 points of psychic damage and collapses, bleeding from his ears and eyes
Incensed Oriki stalks forward, he fires his crossbow at the fleeing vampires, the bolt striking the nearest and popping the mirage. Now with a clear target he lunges forward with his shortsword. The energy of the runes flashes again but despite dealing horrific damage the vampire manages to remain upright.
The skeletal hand summoned by Sheridan throttles the vampire and even though it doesn’t breathe it looks like it is being strangled by the construct. The body turns into a small cloud of mist that swiftly seeps along the floor and up an air vent. You hear the broken shards of the coffins above rattle about and then a soul jerking shriek as the vampire os unable to reconstitute in its safe haven and expires
Sheridan sees Argetlam swarmed and recognises the tell-tale signs of the mirror image spell when he sees one disapparate from Oriki's attack.
He tries to clear the decks somewhat by moving round and casting Create Bonfire under the clump of three attacking Argetlam.
Dex 17 or 7 damage

Draskan is able to work out that it is stopping the spirit from dematerialising but isnt sure which lever is the off switch
