“I agree with Shrek. I think we need to search the rest of this floor and find the rest of the delegation. Sandre, what do you think of this? Do you know the locket of which he speaks? Should we carry the body of your friend out of here? He needs a proper burial…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Randall shakes his head slowly... not in disagreement with anyone in particular, but in disbelief of the circumstances he continues to find himself in.
"Melchor, what was that all about? Was he some kind of super-zombie? And did he make a door appear by magic? Can you wizards do that?"

Melchor leans forward and whispers quietly into Randall’s ear ‘Sometimes ignorance is bliss, Randall. That was a Lich, and it’s taking every ounce of will I have to not flee from this place…’
You are in M20. The stairs there are where the lich was. M21 is the room you came down into with the slip n slide staircase. So there is another door south and unexplored areas upstairs
“I agree with Shrek. I think we need to search the rest of this floor and find the rest of the delegation. Sandre, what do you think of this? Do you know the locket of which he speaks? Should we carry the body of your friend out of here? He needs a proper burial…”
Sandre appears visibly shaken.
"I would appreciate that. I.... do not know how to process this. This is where Petra and I must leave unfortunately. We must take the body to Summit Hall, and I must talk to the order about this. The thought that Renwick chose lichdom is difficult enough. That Samular helped him do it goes against all we believe. Melchor, should we fear finding and giving him the locket he asked for? Could it be a trick to augment his powers?"
‘Are you happy to leave the job half-done, Sir Knight?’asks Melchor sardonically, ‘There may yet be living members of your delegation down here. We should look at the door to to west.’ he pauses for effect ‘And remember, the doors to leave this place are now guarded. We should travel, and leave, as a group…’
He thinks a moment longer ‘As for your question about the locket, I suspect it will indeed increase his power. Perhaps I should inspect it before you decide further?’
While he waits for Melchor to answer the knights, Randall looks to Ankita, Olaerys and Shrek. "If they are leaving, they will need our help to escape the grounds. Which sounds better? Four ogres? Or two minotaurs?"

Shrek quickly pulls out his free hand and starts counting his fingers, trying to compare two to four. After struggling for a good 15 seconds, he gives up. In frustration, he finally responds back with "One Shrek is better!"
"Hurry. Time short. Shrek and friends need find rest of delly-gashion!" He'll then start moving towards the door to the west, following Melchor's recommendation to try the door further west.
Sandre takes rime to think on Melchors statement. "A good point. We cannot tarry long though, and we must move the body from this room."
He and Petra carry the body back to the slipnslide room. Shrek, ahead of them, finds the sliding cage door stuck. Presumably this door was made to keep the beetle thing locked in and is controlled by the lever upstairs.
Randall thinks for a moment. "How about this: I will go upstairs and pull the lever. If that opens the door, you guys jam it open so it won't close again. Then I will flip the lever back so we have stairs again. Does that sound like a plan?"

Ankita watches Shrek head towards the West door, and after what Randall said she is a bit confused. "So are we assisting the knights out of the monastery first or are we finishing our investigation of the monastery to look for the delegation?"
Randall makes it back to the lever without issue, as Glimmer flies around the room patrolling. As he pulls the lever you all hear the kchink and the stairs become a slide again, and the steel door of the cage slides open.
Shrek looks around for something to place in the doorway to keep the door jammed open.

Shrek looks around the room and his eyes light up as he sees the column Randall smashed into previously. "Maybe dis column can jam door?". He walks over and embraces it in a big hug, trying to remove it from the floor
