“Shrek and friends go to Oh-Larry’s room, bear-a-kade da door, and go sleep!” Shrek helpfully adds, while fiddling with his new clawed hand implement. “More bad guys in dungeon - let’s go there after rest. Time short! Hurry!” He’ll then lead them back to that smaller room.

Assuming folks follow, there are no issues getting to the smaller room. Shrek is easily able to move a bed on front of the door to barricade it.
(Olaerys holds onto the key wondering what it might open in their path.). He attempts to take a long rest barricaded with everyone else hoping to regain his health and his powers.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
You rest the remainder of the night without interruption, surprisingly. And so starts Day 4 (I think)!
Sandre looks at Petra and they share a couple of quiet words. "We will continue alongside you if you will have us. I am not sure what to expect when word of this reaches the Hall, but I must know what Qarbo was hinting at."
Randall spends most of the night on guard duty, but finds time to take a short rest for himself, removing and reattaching his armor.
Before they set out again to explore, he addresses the knights. "I don't know where we would be had we not encountered you and your brethren. We would be honored to have you continue with us." He then pauses, before adding, "It may not be my place, but I would take anything you learn from these cultists with a hefty heaping of salt. Even if they do know something about your order, never forget that they are villains, and will twist whatever knowledge they hold in such ways as to hurt and mislead you."

Melchor spends the first hour with a ritual, re-summoning Glimmer, again looking like a jet black barn owl... 'I'll send her scouting while we rest...'he explains, 'That might give us advance notice of other hostiles...'
Following this, he'll then take as much of a rest as possible while Glimmer patrols the already-explored areas of the complex...
'Wake me from my trance if we're attacked. Not otherwise...'
Before settling down for a long nap, Shrek pulls out a gallon-sized mini keg of ale from his pack, slams a hollow spike into one end, and proceeds to chug the entire contents in one long glug. Out of breath, he then proceeds to pull out a complete picnic worth of food, and sloppily eats the entire meal (family sized for normal humanoid-sized folk) in a rapid fashion. Shortly after licking every last morsel of food from his ample beard, he fluffs up his pack into a makeshift pillow, says a quiet and quick prayer to some unnamed giantess god, and rapidly falls asleep.
Randall likely has to kick Shrek a handful of times during his slumber, telling him to roll over onto his side to stop the loud snoring lest he draw attention to the group resting in the room.
Waking up and feeling greatly refreshed (although he’s still at one level of exhaustion), he spends a few minutes to strap his new claw weapon onto his enormous hand, clicking the claw together a few times to hopefully scare his travel companions a little bit, before breaking into a wide grin and quietly chuckling.
”Shrek crabby!” he quietly s******s as he patiently awaits the rest of the group as they ready themselves to exit the room and head back to the stairs leading down.
Glimmer notices 2 more Minotaurs set themselves up where you encountered the first one, guarding the front door, and 4 ogres now guard the kitchen entrance. It appears you are not wanted to leave.
Sandre appears to appreciate Randall's words, but is unsure. "I do not know. It did not sound like he was lying. He sounded amused and contempful. Combined with the very explicit direction to avoid this place which harbors such evil makes me wonder. "

Sandre looks at Petra and they share a couple of quiet words. "We will continue alongside you if you will have us. I am not sure what to expect when word of this reaches the Hall, but I must know what Qarbo was hinting at."
Olaerys goes over to Sandre and Petra and grasps their forearms in a greeting and handshake and says “We would be honored to have you continue with us, we would not have made it this far if it weren’t for you. I hope this is a sign of future ties between our orders, the Order of the Gauntlet would be thrilled to know that you are fighting alongside us. Don’t take that liar’s words too seriously (he points in the direction of Qarbo), we will find out the truth of matters here and cleanse this place of the evil it had been harboring. Let’s rest up and find out what lies downstairs.”
Olaerys goes to a corner and kneels, praying, then removes his armor and rests. He seems fitful in his sleep, occasionally speaking out, unintelligible. He wakes up with a sweat but soon gathers himself, looks much stronger, recovered. As he straps on his armor, he seems to be spinning his shield and using it better, taking some practice steps as he warms up and stretches, practicing a new move after their most recent combat, using his shield to bash a shadow enemy, for advantage. (Shield master at lev 4). A smile tugs at the corner of his lips. He appears ready to move on.
Ankita rises from her long rest, feeling rejuvenated after the intense day yesterday. She looks over at Shreks new apparatus and smiles, "Looks good on you, I'm sure you'll make better use of it than that creature did! Speaking of, shall we head down there? Even though Qarbo was trying to get us down there due to his pet, would still be good to check it out."
She stands and heads towards the door, ready to get a move on and get some answers. Hopefully find the delegation at last as well.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Melchor make sure to bring everyone up to speed on what Glimmer has shown him... 'Minotaurs and Ogres. They are trying to box us in. We are far from done here...'
He then takes a moment to cast Mage Armor to prepare for combat ahead...

Sandre nods. "I need to know what Qarbo was talking about. Perhaps he was lying, b"ut if he wasn't...

((Olaerys waiting to hear what was on Qarbo when he searched him.))

You find a key, and not much else (although he is wearing splint mail that fits a medium humanoid)

Ankita walks over and shakes the hand of both knights and nods at them. She then finds a spot to take her rest, grateful Randall is looking over them.
When she wakes, she watches Glimmer until everyone is ready to move.

'Be careful if you need the toilet, Shrek. You could do yourself a serious injury with that...' Melchor advises, with a wry smile

Shrek grins at Ankita’s comment, and responds back by clicking the crab claw playfully at her.
If/when everyone is ready, he’ll lead the group out of the room and back to the stairwell.
