"With a little extra attention, I'm sure he'll be fine." Trudie's mouth would pull into her all knowing smile. "We still learned something from your digging." Then she'd shrug. "Young whipper snappers could mean there's a big momma close by." The old tort would swim forward to position herself on the other side of Hansel so that he were covered on all fronts until he was tended too. Keeping her eyes 'peeled', already narrowed slits would squint in focus, scanning the three passageways. Not only was she putting the old eyes to work, she was testing her old ears too. Could she see or hear anything coming from any of the directions?
It was strange - Trudie could swear she saw something, like maybe a net(?) or some hard-to-pass-without touching threads(?) covering the entrance to the left part of the ship. But the moment she squinted, trying to figure out what is it exactly, she lost them. The eerie feeling remained, though, something was not right with the path and the entrance, despite the pleasant light coming from above.
The right half of the ship is hidden by a dense curtain of seashells and if there is something there, it did not come out. Still, the idea of a "mother nearby" sounded quite convincing.
Davis shrugs. "Better to have them dealt with, rather than surprising us when we were not as ready to deal with them." He steps to one of the passages, standing guard there while any injuries are tended to. Once done he would glance at the others. "Any feelings on the path to take onward from here?"
Yusko looked around and drummed his fingers. The handsome fellow was bleeding and blood in the water was not good for creatures that could smell that kind of thing. He swam over the guy and said, "Hold up now, give me a moment and I'll get ya feeling right as new again. I mean, best handle those wounds now before they scar up that pretty face."
Assuming Hansel accepts the help, he will be healed: 17
Hansel smiles his winning smile, grateful for the help. He looks around, but has no particular feeling about which way to go. (Happy to continue left unless anyone feels anything to the contrary)

"My old eyes could be playing tricks on me, but I wouldn't be so hasty young man." Trudie cautions Yusko going to the left. "Twinkling threads..." Or maybe too many 'knitting sessions' lately.
Old turtle eyes worked way better than she playfully declared as Yusko immediately found out. The "net" was there - a veil of transparent threads, practically invisible, clearer in the peripheral vision and elusive when looked at directly. Yusko now could be sure that not only entrance to the left but the path up was protected by the veil as well. The good thing about the veil was the fact that he could see past it. There was no "mother" on the left side of the ship. Instead, there were raws and raws of rectangular semitransparent "sacks" with a small horn at each corner. The closest ones shined oily in the multicoloured light from the corals. The whole place was very quiet.
(Does Yousko try to get past the veil? He can not simply swim through without touching the threads.)
Nameless One crouches down in the water. Not willing to be the next person to set off a terrible attack, she waits and watches the group as they try and figure out what to do next. At the mention of the strange nets, she says, "Those sacks maybe contain poison or electricity or something else bad, and release it into the net stuff. I'd be very careful messing with it."

"Do we wish to attempt to pass that varrior there, or should we look in the other direction for now?" Davis asked as he moves over to check out this strange net. He glances through at the sacks and then to his companions. "This net barrior might be a fairly good thing for us, as it means nothing is likely to come from that direction, and lets us check out the others without worry of something coming up behind us. I suggest we look at the other paths available to us first."
The old tort would nod sagely in agreement with their assessment of the left path, then she’d point over her shoulder to the right side with the dense curtains of seashells. “There gives me the tortle tingles.” Trudie would add, remembering her mothering senses pinging that direction earlier.
Yusko looks at the barrier from a few different angles after not having seen it. "I must admit I don't know what this thread it. Don't know if its just a net or if it's made of like jellyfish tenticles or something. I could cut it but maybe not..." he says and starts to swim back towards the others.
"Let's check out that way then." Davis agrees, giving the old tortel a nod of understanding. He moves towards the direction indicated. Pausing before the entrance he glances to the others. "You all ready?" He asks, before stepping forward into the passage.
(As I understand, first you check the right half of the ship because the left one and the passage up between are warded with the "net")
The seashell curtain proved to be harmless and nothing tried to attack Davis as he stepped through it, finding himself in strangely cozy - as much as coral-covered remains of the broken to pieces interior of a ship can be cozy - "room". The inner walls between cabins were removed (brutally) but faintly glowing corals created some elaborated nooks and crannies, and in the two biggest open rooms formed something like beds. Above each embedded into the corals was a ring, the size of a collar, that might fit a human neck - metal, yet not eaten by the seawater, probably indicating some presence of magic in it. Other alcoves were filled with assorted items of all kinds: toys, a few coins, cheap-looking jewels, small seashells - most looking like trinkets and baubles that people often carry as "lucky charms" or mementos. There were few separated from the mass, more elaborated bracelets and diadems that had sea-motives in them.
The general impression is that here live two humanoids, most likely women, that keep the place tidy enough and if they are not here now, they will definitely be back.
Assuming those who live here rely only on vision, it might work for the girl - her magical cloak reflected dimmed light of the corals and she "dissolved" in the stony "vegetation" covering walls. No one said that inhabitants of this place would return soon, but who knows...
"Well it appears those who live here are not here currently." Davis mentions, glancing around the chamber. "Do we wish to search this place, or should we move on to other sections of this mountain?" He takes up a post position near the entrance, playing guard as the others look around the chamber, if that is the wish.
