The dead simply hovered in the water in front of the group, slightly swaying in the invisible and barely felt water currents.Their heads were turned toward the livings, the blades redied but none of the rotten corpses advanced yet. They were waiting.
The creature and whoever else she had with her - there was enough time to raise an army - still kept away from the sight but now you could see that the dead corpses, previously accurately arranged along the walls, now were covering the bottom of the cave as if ready to stand up and attack.

"Oh ho ho ho!" Trudie breaks the silence with a big belly laugh. "How many do we have here..." She squints and counts. "This first shift?" The tort muses. "I suppose we'll see who's naughty and who's nice." She'd shrug then take her time to reach for her staff. "What do you think, Sugar and Spice?" Her mouth would pull into her grin. "Time to roll the dice?"
The old tort taps her crest above her chest then adjusts her stance. Feet apart, she'd square up her her posture and align herself. Crack. Pop. She'd bend at the knees as bring her arms up with staff in hand, regripping it's shaft. "I'm ready to knock these chum buckets into next year!" Trudie hoots, swinging like a batter.

Nameless looks at the chortling turtle with only the briefest of glances, before jetting through the water. Up and over the closest enemies she sweeps to the north west trying to get a look into the holes in the ships on the right, and also a look around the stone pillar on the far side. Looking for any enemy but these grunts.

What's the difference between a Wizard and a Sorcerer? Class.
The subtle oscillations of the three corpses to the right suddenly changed to the swinging of the trees under the hurricane and two of the corpses were smashed against the rough cavern's floor where they were scrambling to get on their feet. The third one resisted the pull but a few pieces of rotten meat were beaten out of it.
The Nameless girl darted above the fallen enemy to the corner, scanning the surroundings for the enemy she knew was there, yet, nothing came to view. The enemy - the real one - was still hiding and watching.
The girl turned around and one of the corpses not affected by the internal wave suddenly flickered with the light - just for a split second - but that was enough for two bolts to obliterate the drowner. Meat, bones and rusty sword slowly descended to the ground and got lost among the copses covering it. (M4 is out)
The third bolt tore off the hand of the next corpse, though the dead did not seem to notice the loss and - raised sword in the remaining hand - slowly moved toward the line of living.
The livings at this time found themselves entangled in another problem - literally entangled. Around each of them (except Nameless One) grew a thin stone-hard coral net, restraining every move and making an easy target for the slowly advancing undead.
"Oh, this can not be good," thoughtfully informed everyone Vadok from his coral web and chanted something most of you recognized as an attempt to dispel the effect. Nothing happens, though and the old turtle remained in the rocky prison.
Before we continue - EVERYONE (but Nameless) DC 18 Strength saving throw or become restrained.

The stone net around Davis and Hansel proved to be no match to their strength, the coral cracked and small pieces fell to the ground. Trudie almost made it, but the threads of living stone were faster and overcame her, Yusko and Vadok, fastening all three in place, helpless to escape the attack of slowly advancing drowners.
Slowly but inevitably the dead reached the group choosing the closest target. At close range, they looked even more disturbing with rotting meat barely holding on to the bones. The rusty swords, each of them carried, seemed to be covered with something disgusting and gooey, you would definitely prefer not to get in contact with your skin.
The good thing was that the two knocked down undead lost their momentum while trying to stand back up and only one of the three could reach Trudie. But that one attacked:
M1 vs Trudie: Attack: 10 Damage: 4 (if it hits, make DC 12 Constitution saving throw)
Meanwhile one-armed drowner limped to Davis and tried to hit him:

As an action, you present your holy symbol and speak a prayer censuring the undead. Each undead that can see or hear you within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage.
A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action.
Bonus Action: Spiritual Weapon, then attack any zombie that didn't turn. If they all turned, then attack the one furthest away.

The creature saw enough to justify her presence, appearing not far from the group in the plain view, and not alone. The tentacled woman that you fought before accompanied her. Whether or not the shimmering seals were nearby - remained to be seen but it looked like a full-out assault.
Davis, standing like a rock in front of the group became... well a testing stone. The barrage of fast forceful attacks from invisible creatures proved that the seals were indeed there.
