(She definitely can not be attacked - not by S1, and considering disadvantage, that one attack did not hit Yusko either)
Davis's huge weapon swooshed a hair to the side from S3. The sharkman was still alive.
And so was S1 after the attack of the Nameless girl - though barely. Yusko knew his trade well enough to tell even for an alien creature, that one little push - and it's gone.
Like a spineless jellyfish, Yusko let the current from the creature's blow push him out of the way. Gently spinning, his arms tucked in tight by his body, lashes out quick and hard like mantis shrimp.
(Yusko, was it any of Disengage actions? Then no bonus attacks.)
The "nearest enemy down" was S2 (Trudie was absolutely right, that sahuagin was not a quitter!). S1, losing both of his enemies blinked in Nameless direction, then looked down, and chose a closer target, though if he intended to help his comrade as well, he was almost too later for that. Still, the fully surrounded desperate sharkman made his, probably last, desperate attack. The gentle and so alluring light came to life once again:
Everyone but Nameless: DC 11 Wisdom saving throw or be charmed until the end of your next turn. A creature charmed in this way is incapacitated as it stares at the light.
(Meanwhile, Nameless girl realised, that if that light gets out and her last enemy swims away - she is risking to lose the group in this darkness.
Hansel looks around to see if anyone is desperately in need of healing. He can't see the nameless girl, and the others appear to be battling on okay, so he continues his attempts to help pummel the ugly creature that is closest to death. (S2?)
Ugly Stick v S2: 18 Damage: 8 bludgeoning plus 6 radiant damage
The light flickered and died out, leaving everyone in the cold darkness again. S1 was too late with his help - his less sturdy comrade was dead. Davis now had only one opponent.
With the shark and the luring sahuagins gone, the group made short work of the already almost dead armoured one. Their blood quickly dissolved in the water but you do not need to be a shark hunter to know, that blood attracts those silent killers from miles around. You stay here - you might expect more guests.
-------------------------------
The group continues travelling down into the unknown along that huge column of darkness. Who were those sahuagin? A patrol? Random raid-party on the way to some unsuspecting island? No one can tell and, frankly, no one cares. In this cold mass of water, curiosity gets as numb as senses. Speaking of which - if not for the deep corals on the cliff wall, that have clear "up" and "down" parts of the "bushes", you could be completely disoriented: gravity itself is barely sensed here, up, down, left, right - all feels the same.
You keep sinking - slow, fast - no way to tell. Same wall, similar corals. No way to track time either. But at some point a plus of light flashes ahead. Then another - some 20ft aside from the first one, and another - different colours, different intervals, curious and mysterious. Once you got close enough to really see, you realized, the pulses of light are coming from enormous jellyfish, the whole field of them, cutting you off from the ground - or water? - below and stretching into "the darkness" as well, as far as your eyes could tell. Under one of the lazily floating umbrellas, you could see the motionless body of a giant shark. Nearby, a humanoid-shaped body is slowly reeled towards softly pulsating with the green light huge globe of gello.
The body of an armoured sahuagin caught up with you and continued to go down to that living carpet. It did not even reach the level of the tops of jellyfishes when one of them turned a bit sidewise, and the body suddenly stopped its slow descent and changed direction towards that jellyfish.
Your destination is lying somewhere down past that unexpected barrier. The only question is, how to get through.
During their descent into darkness, the old tort would lightly manipulate the tide waters within her reach to help move her spectral jellyfish to check on her and her companions while it still had a little light left in him.
(If I may, Healing Spirit could have had 3 more uses. If Trudie takes the bad 9 in post #163, she will take 1 heal and then 2 for nameless. Trudie: 12 and Nameless: 17 + 18 )
Grandma Trudie would take one of her berries, as well as a piece of flesh conveniently collected from a piece hacked off by her companions during the last battle, and place it on the end of her staff. She'd then reach it out forward towards the wall of jellyfish, giving a friendly smile and wave. It never hurts to ask, right?
The nameless one came closer to the group and was embraced by the strange spiritual creature, the healing soothing her harsh wounds. She still looks a little banged up, but is looking much better. With the strange worbly voice of this underworld land she says, "Thank you Grandma Trudie. And thank you Hansel for trying to protect me during the fight." Watching the group with curious eyes, the girl speeds ahead a bit and tries to stay close to the coral wall where her cloak can blend in and hide her a bit from any enemies. When they reach the jelly fish she stops and looks questioningly at the group, unsure how to deal with such a mass of foes.

The end of the staff moved closer towards the nearest giant umbrella, the berry slipped from it, pushed by the water, and began to sink, only to stop - just like the sahuagin's body before, as if got stuck. Then it slowly began to move towards the creature. Even if you could not see the tentacles of the jellyfish, you had no doubts, that was them, moving the objects.
The intellect Trudie tried to touch... No, that was no intellect here, like there is not intellect in a piece of jello. The patience of the ocean and everlasting hunger - all she could sense. A hunger that knows no difference between friends and foe, but sees everyone and everything as either food or inedible danger.
Trudie did not get any answer from the jellyfish, but the berry jerked towards it and disappeared under the umbrella, as if the creature tucked the tentacles in. Most likely, for a while, that particular jellyfish would allow the passage.
Seeing Trudie's attempt to charm one of the jellyfish away, Hansel is impressed. Even animals can be made friendly. Can they be made to admire as well? Who knows? In any case, Hansel calls out to Trudie: That seems to work! Can you do it to some others?

"Sometimes you only need one to make all the difference." Trudie would move in to test the passage and to be ready to guide the others through. Should she need to cast it on other jellyfish to grant full passage, she would do so.
It seemed Trudie was right - staying close to the docile (for now) big jellyfish she did not feel a touch of invisible tentacles and the visible were pulled in under the umbrella. The ephemeral beauty of this deadly floating mushroom top was more obvious now - a glass-like surface with pulses of light beginning on the top and going down along the fringe of thicker "grabbing" tentacles. But stopping to admire the deep sea wander was definitely not advisable - other jellyfish, though still staying far from the pacified one, definitely sensed the motion in the area - the umbrellas were shifting a bit in place as if deciding whether or not the potential prey is worth the effort.
Under the veil of jellyfish, by the contrast, the water felt even darker. The endless journey down continued until suddenly the sandy (or muddy?) absolutely flat seafloor appeared in the view. It is hard to tell the borders of the "darkness" now and vision remains the tunnel and limited to the grey shadows right in front of you. Staying on the very borders you can vaguely make out the outline of a mountain of sunken ships resting on the seafloor, grown over with coral. No other creatures can be seen within the darkness, and the silence here is deafening. One thing to consider, though, the sahuagin patrol was able to track even the Nameless girl and from quite the distance. If there is something in that "mountain" - that "someone" could be watching.
Regarding the "mountain"....the Nameless girl gets a cold shiver. For some reason the idea of entering a mountain gave her pause, a feeling of either impending doom. But there was an ocean floor now. Time to move. She got near the floor of the ocean and moved forward, hoping her cloak and her natural abilities kept her hidden from whatever watched them as she moved forward in advance of the group.

Davis nodded to the old tortel as she guided them through the gellyfish barrior. As his feet touched the sea floor, he would pause a bit, getting use to the feel of the water all around, and his feet on solid footing. Then he would nod to the mountain. "Guessing that is where we need to be going, huh?"
Ttat was a good question - "where to go". The mountain looked quite monolithic. Corals cemented the ships in one big mass, covering the decks and broken musts with the thick spiky crust. There is something off about it - the visible wooden parts do not look that old, captain Kalis talked about ships sunken within a month, and yet, the ships are completely overgrown with - normally - very slow-growing corals. All, but one ship - this one looks like a recent catch of the corals. The top deck of this protruding ship is completely exposed to the ravages of the open sea, though it tilts at a precarious forty-five degrees, with the aft end sunk deep into the surrounding coral. The masts have been completely torn off the ship. There is a gaping hole in the hull of the caravel at the fore, and you can see that the doors that would normally lead to the captain’s cabin aft, are still free from the corals too. The metal grate affixed to the floor of the upper deck did not corrode yet but was also still exposed to the surface and not covered by the corals.
The "darkness" is definitely centred around that graveyard of the sunken ships. Most likely, what you are looking for is there, inside the coral-wood structure. The grey (in the darkness of the deep) mass is huge. Probably, there is another, more official entrance in it. But if there is a backdoor, chances are, you are looking at it. And the best part, no one attacked you (yet) here.
Seeing the nameless one heading for the most recent ship, Davis nods and follows after. His head is on a swivel, trying vainly to pierce the darkness of this unnatural place, and watching for the slightest movement in that darkness, that might indicate a threat.
Grandma Trudie would hook her arm through the handsome cleric’s arm, giving it a gentle pat. She acted as if he were escorting her, but perhaps she was just helping herself and leading him along. It was time to follow Sugar and Spice.
As a hiding place, the cabin was certainly better than the open sea, but only for having walls. The floor in the room has collapsed leaving a crude set of stairs as well as a gaping hole to swim through, to the lower deck. The captain of this ship was definitely not as rich as Kalis or did not bother to decorate the quarters - simple furniture (what was left of it), simple tools. But it was carrying quite a lot of goods: many boxes and barrels can be seen down below, somewhat waterlogged but largely intact (at least those you see). There is something like shark jaws, lying on top of the crates, visible closer to the backside of the lower deck, where you can spot another hole, potentially leading into the mountain.
(She definitely can not be attacked - not by S1, and considering disadvantage, that one attack did not hit Yusko either)
