"Books are my thing." Robin agrees. "I just wasn't sure you would trust me enough yet to have me carry it." She says with a shrug. "I have just joined you after all." She lays a hand on Buddy's head as she glances around. "Do you think the hag was the master of the marsh, or do you think we need to go check out that light coming from the island?"
"Actually, Lysaga isn't the master of this marsh," Ez replied. "Before Lysaga settled in, the former Burgomaster was Lazlo Ulrich,. Like many others in the cycle, his wife Marina became an obsession of Strahd's. Lazlo has been dead for awhile, though it's likely his ghost lingers here."

“Well… I think… a ghost would be near a grave or a place where it died. It doesn’t make any sense for a ghost to be someplace else.” Keldon chimes in wisely. “Unless it wanders. Like… to go be with people.”
"Or is haunting their old home." Robin points out. "Maybe we should look for the biggest house in the village. That should be the one of whomever use to be the master of the place, right?"
With that 2, you don't learn anything other than what's common knowledge for ghosts. You know that ghosts were once people who were alive but didn't pass on because they have some unfinished business, or something is keeping them tied to this mortal realm. I'll also say that you know ghosts typically haunt the places where they once lived.

Robin and Buddy follow Baudric as he searches. When he finds the mansion she would nod at it. "Looks like a master of the marsh-type house. Shall we check it out?" She moves towards it.
Robin, the mansion appears as normal for a moment. A moment later Robin sees the mansion is barely standing, its exterior cracked but still standing. Empty, arched windows stare at you. South of the the building, an untamed garden runs rampant. Someone has erected a crude wooden fence, forming a circular yard in which several goats are penned. Surmounting the fence posts are human skulls.

Keldon is stunned for a long moment. “I’ve never met a talking sheep before. But then I suppose those birds turned into people before. Are there any people here? Or ghosts?”

Baudric looks around to the others, "So now we're looking for the ghost? And then safe rest? Does anyone know how to actually find a ghost?"

Keldon gives a big, horrible fanged smile at Robin’s wisdom

Bral thinks for a moment about whether he can recall any information about ghosts.

Baudric begins looking around for the largest or nicest house, starting towards the center of the town and spiraling out.
Perception: 27
The largest house Baudric sees is the mansion. There are a few smaller houses here and there, but nothing that stands out.
With that 27, roll a Percentile dice.

Baudric curiously looks over the goats and heads that way.
Keldon stands outside the fence and looks in at the goats. “Hello?”
