"The festivals are effective in keeping Strahd away?" Bral asks as he tils his head. "In what way? I wouldn't think much could be effective in keeping him away. You must have some effective resources or knowledge."
Bral will carefully watches the baron to see if he his body language or facial expressions reveals anything useful.

Baudric shakes his head as he looks around the area to see if anyone else it watching, "I've been to this town just as often as you, you've met everyone I have. Who is this Lady and why does she have you watching strangers?"
Baudric, when you ask this question, the man nods. "Lady Fiona is one of the noble families here in Vallkali. She wants to become the Burgomaster and supplant Lord Vargas."
As he says this, Baudric, you notice a wisp of air around the man. An imp appears and turns to the man. "Hey, um ... I don't think you should be saying that out loud, Prestor. You know Lady Fiona doesn't like her plans to be revealed."
"Sorry Majesto," Prestor says. Majesto turns to the both of you. "He is right though. Lady Fiona wants to get rid of the current Burgomaster."

The Baroness returns with papers full of fliers and what appears to be a sack hood with a sun crudely painted on it. "I just need you all to put these fliers around town. One of you needs to wear this hood and go around town and talk about how exciting the festival is going to be."
"Great idea my love," The Baron adds with enthusiam.

"The hood has a sun painted on it, it's supposed to be the festival mascot," The Baroness says, her tone growing irritated. "The festival will be lively and fun."
The Baron nods. "Now, now dear. He was merely asking a question. I'm sure once the festival happens he will see the happiness that the event creates."

Baudric eyes the imp suspiciously, "Was the man who was attacked by wolves recently working for the Lady as well? We'd heard he was publicly questioning the Burgomaster."
Majesto shakes his head. "You mean Udo the shoemaker? No he didn't work for Lady Fiona, but she's personally seen to his mother Willemina Rikalov and make sure her needs are taken care of. Infact, Willemina is staying with Lady Fiona. She thinks the Burgomaster had something to do with Udo vanishing, but that's not surprising. Lady Fiona doesn't like Vargas. At all."

Keldon wrinkles his brow. "I bet Strahd did it. He does everything. Everything. Maybe this Willemina will see that if we talk to her. Maybe Lady Fionna too. She could help. And the burgomaster. They'll see." Keldon is rambling mostly, but he does not appear to be entirely without any bite behind his bark. He looks ready to go to Lady Fiona's.
Baudric eyes Keldon for a long moment, "I'll withhold judgement for now on that part. But I agree we should probably go speak with the Lady. Is there a route that would take us there without being noticed?"
Majesto nods. "We can just take you to her house, she lives in town. I don't know how you could be seen. I guess you could just go around the buildings quietly."
Majesto turns invisible. Keldon, you still feel he's there, but he's no longer visibile.
Prestor nods. "I can take you there."
Once you start back to Vallkali, roll stealth checks.

Robin hopes Bral doesn't plan on her wearing that hood. She shuffles a bit as he inquires about a tour of the place and thinks they might finally be getting somewhere here. She waits to see if the townmaster will acquiesce to the request or not.

Bral takes the hood and the fliers from the baroness, "Very well, we will sort it out later and decide who will be wearing the hood."
He then stores the items away for later.
"Say, whilst we're here, would you be willing to give us a tour of this splendid mansion? You have quite the taste for decorum."
