Keldon blinks at the girl and offers a hand to take her outside. "Come along, Kitty. We're going to burn this place down. Thank Majesto for getting you out."
"Good idea." Robin says at the mention of returning to see the good Doctor. "Maybe we can get some ideas of where to go from here, as I don't see us able to do much to help this village, not until this vampire lord is dealt with. That seems, to me at least, to be where our efforts should lay." She sighs, as it had been her that suggested helping people as they could, but any help they give now seems to be of little value until the vampire is taken out of the equasion.
Bral notices Robin's frustration, "We didn't know. We didn't know what exactly was happening in this town and now we do. We can talk more freely when we're off the streets."
Bral then heads through the streets of Vallaki.

Majesto leads Baudric to the storage room where there's a door that goes downstairs. "That leads into the cellar. There are some skeletons. You should see the door that leads into the cult headquarters."
Street to Coffin Maker's
The trio walks to the coffin maker's shop without incident. As you open the door, Petra is sipping some tea in front of her painting. Van Ricthen is in the corner, jotting down some notes while Jander is reading. Van Richten greets you all. "Good day. You look like you've seen some things."

I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Bral nods his head in response to Van Richten's greetings, "We're back, and we've learnt some things. So, firstly, the festivals that are being run frequently in Vallaki are supposed to be warding Strahd away. The baron and baroness definitely seem to believe that it works. However, they apparently think the festivals only work when the whole town is participating. This brings me to the next thing we found out.
The baron and baroness are locking up people who dare disagree with their plans. They are very suspicious and believe any who opposes them is a spy for Strahd. This goes for a man we found locked up in their own home, whom we did free. I don't know if there was anyone else locked up inside the mansion but we didn't really get much chance to explore. Perhaps others are simply being exiled from the town.
We also learnt of someone who might be seeking to gain power, Lady Fiona Watcher. She is apparently a spy for Strahd and the man we freed believes she is too."

Jander nods. "It is and I'm afraid your suspicions about the Baron are correct, though I don't know if anyone else has been exiled from town. It's possible Of course the festivals aren't the only things that are really keeping Strahd from this place. The church has the bones of St. Andral that keep Strahd away from the city, or at least from there."

You glance over at Petra and it appears she's painting a church under a night sky but there are part of it that are orange.
"Certainly," Jasper says. "Underneath the church there are bones of St. Andral, a powerful priest. Despite him being dead, the bones are blessed and protect the church from Strahd's machinations. It seems to work on all full-blooded vampires as I can't enter the church, but I've heard of dhampir being able to visit."
He pauses for a moment and then continues," If the bones were removed, Strahd could attack the church and that would be devastating."

Bral ponders Jasper's words, and as he does the painting by Petra catches his eye. He turns to look at it properly and recognises the church that they had all resided in previously.
"Petra, what is this? What do you see? Is it the church? Is it going to be attacked? Is someone going to move the bones?"

Petra turns to Bral's direction. "What do I see? Is that supposed to be some sort of joke?" She laughs it off. "I just painted a church and a fire. I haven't gotten to the plume of smoke or the four figures that are running from there. I also need to add Father Lucien on the ground. Maybe some blood too."
"Strahd must have organized some attack on the church, or he's going to," Van Richten says.

"Seems like the place we should be now then." Robin speaks up, glancing to the painting. "Any of you wish to come with us?" She glances to the doctor as she asks the last. "If he is trying to get those bones out of the church, then that could be really bad for this village as a whole." She moves towards the door, wishign to look to make sure there is no smoke in the direction of the church.
Robin, you look outside and you don't see any smoke. Jander stands up. "I could go with you to the church. I won't be able to step inside if the bones are there, but I can help with anyone on the outside."
Petra nods. "I can go too."

Baudric opens the door down to the cellar and calls down, "All firm followers of Strahd stay there and wait for him to save you! To the rest, I'm going to be barring this door and burning the building down in a minute or two, so you might want to flee!"
Bral follows Robin to the door to look towards the church as well, "I think this hasn't happened yet. If we head to the church now, the others might not expect to find us there. Do we have anything to leave them a message? I wouldn't want to wait here and be too late to arrive at the church.

Baudric, as you say this you hear mutters and feet coming toward the stairs. How are you going to barricade this door?
