Seeing as it is nearly the spooky season once more, I have decided to come up with a horror-filled campaign. Seeing as the biggest fear is the unknown, I will not tell you much about what will happen in this campaign. However, there is a real-world time limit to this game. Regardless of what happens, this campaign will end once the time limit is reached. So the more frequently you can post, the better the chance you will have of completing this campaign successfully.
I need four players for this campaign, and you will be starting at level one.
Characters will randomly be created following the instructions below.
Character applications are as follows: Name: Race: Abilities: Background: Alignment:
No back story yet.
Include a link to your character sheet and say what your favourite type of horror is and what kind of horror you don't like.
Unfortunately, I am unable to submit a character sheet that reflects the above-mentioned subclass and race, both of which are content I've not yet purchased through D&D Beyond. Have fun, everyone!

Sorry, I should have mentioned, if you don't have access to some content then please reroll.
Hi, this game looks interesting. Before I apply though, when are you planning for it to run? It would be great to know approximately when the start and end time limit will be so I can figure out if I will be able to post frequently enough. Thanks!

This campaign will start sometime later this week, before Sunday at the latest. It will then finish at the end of October.

Oh ok so like a month long. Should be fine. I'll probably roll up a character tomorrow, since at the moment I'm on my phone where rolling and looking at those huge tables can be annoying.

Thank you for clarifying, TheBritGeek. I'm bowing out, however. I've taken on a character in a different adventure, and it seems you have plenty of interested applicants for this one. May it be a happy and horror-filled time for all.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Name: Circe Briar
Ability scores: 91113151611
Class: 14 Sorcerer
Subclass: Draconic because I think it's the only one I have access to
Race: 20 Half-orc
Subrace: N/A
Background: 11 Anthropologist
Alignment: 1 Chaotic good
Looking at that horror list, I think my favourites would be dark fantasy, gothic and psychological. I don't mind all of them though, as long as they don't go too far: for example, under disaster horror I'd probably enjoy some societal collapse but wouldn't want detailed descriptions of cannibalism.
(If selected, then I'll put together the proper character sheet with backstory etc)

Apologies that it keeps re-rolling. Is it because I'm adding text to the line? I've added the initial rolls after the text.
