Slow to realise what's going on! Agmar finally catches up on the situation, Breathes deeply, and draws his Great axe from it's bindings as he advances to position G2.
"Right! let me at this thing" he roars, stalking toward the monster. (\end of my turn)
His view somewhat blocked by the two dwarves boxing in the creature, dust whips up around Haughlin's legs again as he floats up into the air (as high as he can, ceiling permitting), "I don't like the weird things that happen when I do this, but I've got little choice right now" he says, glancing at the harmless orbs of light orbiting him.
Aiming over his companions, he looses another Magic Missile -
You feel the magic well up in you again as you release the spell and suddenly feel a strange sensation coming from your back.
"Haughlin! Haughlin!! You've got wings!" Donnabella shouts with some confusion in her voice from behind you. As you look over your shoulder you can see a set of large butterfly wings, gently beating keeping you afloat (gain Flying Speed - 30ft).
Donnabella composes herself confused at the appearance of wings and focuses back on the mimic and begins a chant to cast sacred flame
The mimic compresses it's body briefly avoiding the flames produced by Donnabella.
Ruby does not relent from her attacks and proceeds to try and smash the creature once more with her warhammer Attack: 8 Damage: 4
The mimic continues to avoid the attacks fromthe dwarf, though bleeding from the side of it's gaping mouth it does not relent it's attack attempting to bite down on Ruby's arm Attack: 13 Damage: 5

Haughlin looks over his shoulder in surprise at the buttlerfly wings that have spontaneously sprouted, "What is going on in this weird place?" Bobbing in the air foe a few seconds, he gets accustomed to the sensation of flying, "Okay, I like this though!"
He flies over next to where Pete is standing atop the barrels and looses another Magic Missile

The mimic howls in pain as each dart launches into it's bleeding body, you feel another strange sensation permeate through your body as with each other time you have cast a spell, but unlike the other times the affects are not apparent. Looking down at your outstrecthed hand, it does appear to be a different shade of blue.
Ruby and Belladonna both attack the creature at the same time Belladonna with her magic casting sacred flame, which the mimic fails to avoid, and Ruby once more with her axe although the creature manages to skirt the attack.
The mimic lets out one more feeble sounding howl before biting out towards Agmar. Attack: 21Damage: 14(Will do damage again, 2 damage types (one your not resistant to)) 4 Piercing 3 Acid
(ooc: Resistance to Piercing, so half the 11 to 6 (rounding up), and take the full 5 acid for 11 points of damage in total).
Howling at the bite from the Mimic, Agmar's snarls and hefts his Greataxe high in the are, eye's white and wide as his rage consumes his conscience, fuelling another mighty swing.
Attack roll (7 + 5 = 12) (I think this is a miss, but I done a Damage roll anyway (6+3+2 = 11)
Agmar gives the carcass a kick to make sure it doesn't budge, before placing a boot ontop of it and hefting the axe out of the wound. He sit's cross legged before it and offers a meditative prayer to the monsters soul. Thanking it for the test, and for the gift of making him stronger. This quells the rage within him, and as his choler receeds and the brow unfurls, he begins to clean the blade of the mighty axe with a plain rag. He stays this way for a few minutes...
Haughlin clumsily flutters to the ground, looking at his hands, "I... Am I ALL blue now?" He asks no-one in particular, sounding slightly panicked.
He walks towards the seated form of his dwarven friend and places a hand on his shoulder, "Glad you were here with us", he looks at the others with a smile, "glad all of you were here."
Glancing frustratedly at his hands again, "We should get back to the workshop, let Fibblestib and Dabbledob know. We can take the thing with us for proof."
Nodding in silent agreement. Agmar prepares the carcass for transportation, taking a moment to loot the body for anything useful. "The body may be a gift for the kings, but any trinkets and baubles are memento's for us all....that was a fancy trick growing wings now wasn't it?" The dwarf, now serene and almost jovial as he sets about the work of binding the body with rope to anchor it to himself in preparation for moving out.
Agmar searches through the remains on the mimic, but you come up empty handed. The insides of the creature appear to be extremely caustic and it looks like anything it has consumed has disolved.
You safely manage to bind the body and are able to dragging it back, leaving a trail of acid as you go, to the workshop where Fibblestib and Dabbledob are waiting for your return (or Haughlins return atleast)
"What it the name of the protector is that!?" the small female gnome shouts as you turn the corner into their workshop.
"We hoped you'd be able to shed some light on that, I've never seen anything of the sort. It was disguised as a barrel in your storeroom until I touched it, then it tried to take a chunk out of me," Haughlin holds up his slightly bleeding hand. "this is Agmar, he's a friend of mine that caught up with us and helped kill this... whatever-it-is".
He turns to Agmar, "This is Fibblestib and Dabbledob, they're the Kings' advisors." Haughlin finds a stool and sits down, examining his, now entirely blue, arms. "The wings, I don't mind, but the floating lights and blue I'm not too keen on."
"Pleasure to meet you both." Agmar extends a thick, densley muscled arm garbed in a ichor covered leather bracer awaiting a gnome hand to shake.
"Now... if this beasts carcass is to be a gift for your king, do you want to present it here or somewhere else? where would you like this thing? We've noticed it's juices are a bit nippy/burny, so be mindful of that! OH! Before I forget, there's a lass through one of those hallways among a pile of giant crossbows. Wouldn't see sense when I asked for her help... She's a little banged up, but sleeping it off. A credit to your organization, she was very effective and diligent in her duties. I'm deeply sorry we couldn't resolve things amicably. Those bolt throwers might be handy against a dragon though, what do you say to putting something like that to use against the drake? "

[OOC] Is Haughlin still glowing as well from his first spell? Are these effects stacking and all happening at once?
They’re stacking, from the last time the orbs appeared, they seemed to stick around for an hour
Agmar's turn consists of him jeering at the mimic drawing its ire unto him. "Face me beast! Let's see what taste you have for axe!"
*bonus action to Rage.
*action: with a mighty overhead swing of his great axe, a visibly seething Agmar strikes true. (18), leading to 7 damage (2 rolled, +3 str, +2 rage).
The mimic appears to real back, trying to push itself further into the corner to avoid your attack and screeches in pain as the axe strikes.
Pete clambers ontop of one of the barrels trying to get a better line of sight and fire's his bow once more.

((AC of 12 on the mimic so just hit!))
With a wet thunk the greataxe buries deep into the face of the creature and it slumps to the grounds, dead.
A few seconds pass as everyone catches their breath Ruby pokes out at the mimic once more with her axe "It's dead yeah? not just another trick?"
