Mal seeing Crom brace up against the stalagmite looking worse for wear quickly thrusts out the burning torch, "Take this I'll cover you" He says ignoring the prominent arrow protruding from his own chest

As Mal turns from Crom and makes his way to the goblin furthest back, he unbuckles and holds his mace in his offhand swinging both his weapons round in a  fighting stance he swings out in anger simultaneously in a crashing symbol motion with the goblins head aimed firmly for the center where the weapons may meet.

Morningstar swing 23  Dmg, 12

Mace swing 10  Dmg, 6

Ink presses himself against the cave wall and continues his psychic attack on the bugbear...

Calantha brings up her shield and the bugbear's morningstar crashes into it with bone-jolting force. She grits her teeth and withstands the blow, her feet set in a defensive posture. As another arrow comes whistling through the air toward her, she is able to deflect it with her shield. With some of the sturdiest armor and a shield to aid her, she knows she can probably take the most hits out of everyone in the party, except for maybe Mal. That damn bugbear with its morningstar is still the most pressing threat so she shouts and lunges at it with her sword.

Saving throw: 17 - 3 

The bugbear meets Calanthas blow with its morningstar, enraged at the loss of its pet it lets out an angry snarl not feeling the attacks on its mind.

Mal makes his way through the water and swings at the goblin near him, but the goblin dodges out of the way.

Crom, having the same idea as Mal, had already cast aside his left hand sword. He then catches his breathe and runs along with Mal to the next goblin, lagging slightly behind. 

He observes Mal's impressive double swing, but sees the goblin making as if to duck under the deadly clash of metal. Trying to anticipate the dodge, Crom's sword and torch plunge low and come up in a sneaky double thrust.

Attack: 14 Damage: 4 

Attack: 5 Damage: 2 

The bugbear sheds off Calanthas sword and swings back with its morningstar.

Attack: 11  Damage: 8 

The goblins in the water drop their bows and begin slashing out wildly with their scimitars.

Attack: 20 Damage: 3 (At Crom)

Attack: 12 Damage: 7 (At Mal)

Crom realizes he had misread the goblin's movements as his attack meets nothing but air and he stumbles past. But a searing streak of pain across his back drives all thoughts from his weary mind. He stumbles up against a stalagmite and collapses with his back to it as his vision fades to black.

Calantha uses her shield to block the next attack from the bugbear. This thing is really starting to make her angry now. She knows that two of her companions have already gone down. We are not going to lose anyone to a pack of mangy goblins, she thinks to herself. Anger fueling her now, she lashes out at the bugbear, hoping to drive her sword deep into its hide.

"What a mess this is!" cries Ink aloud. With a mixture of anger and panic, he attempts yet again to disable a foe with mind sliver...

3 psychic damage to the already-wounded goblin (if it fails the DC 14 INT save)

Feeling a sharp pain and now noticing the arrow in his chest Mal hesitates on his swings causing the goblin to evade the impacts, Hearing Crom slump down in the water behind him Mal redoubles his efforts, turning in a spin fashion to lash out with his mace and morningstar at the small creature before him.

Calantha is very frustrated. The bugbear keeps evading her attacks. With a cry of fury, she lashes out at it again.

Calantha and Ragnarok both swing at the bugbear, but their blows miss or glance off his thick armor as he rages at them with his morningstar continuing his assault on Calantha.

Attack: 5 Damage: 10 

Mal brings down his own morningstar and bashes in the skull of the goblin next to him, who crumbles to the ground behind the rock.

The goblin on the other side lets out a squeal as it strikes out with its scimitar. As it's attacking it lets out a cry of confusion as something invades its mind. 

Saving throw: 16 

It lets out a cry of pain as the feeling touches its mind and Mal hits it with his second blow.

Attack: 12 Damage: 4 (At Mal)

In the background Chensica is attempting to stabilize Crom.

Medicine: 19 

Calantha goes down as the bugbear successfully lands a blow. She topples to the ground unconscious.

1st Death Saving Throw - 8

Ink watches Calantha crumple to the floor, and he suddenly throws off all restraint. As fast as his gnome legs can carry him, he charges forward and takes a two-handed swing with his quarterstaff at the goblin...

Melee attack: 17  for 4 bludgeoning damage, if successful

...and the moment his swing comes up empty, his foolishness dawns on him.

Ink stands there with his staff in hand facing down a wounded goblin, realizing he let his frustration get the better of him, as Crom lays still on the ground next to him.

Chensica, bent over next to him is still fumbling with her tools as she tries again to stabilize him. 10 
She manages to calm down and works with focus, stabilizing Crom who will wake up in 1 hour.

Seeing his breathing steady, she runs to make her way towards Calantha.

Calantha lays next to the bugbear, struggling to hold on to life as Ragnarok brings his greataxe into the bugbears hide, severely wounding him. Blood is gushing from his side as Ragnarok draws his axe back and the bugbear lets out a howl of pain and anger.

Mals morningstar slams into the goblin and crushes it to the ground. He moves over to the bugbear who is swinging out at Ragnarok and tries to hit him with his mace, but the mace meets armor and doesn't seem to have any effect.

The bugbear howls and it turns into a grunt of effort as he raises his morningstar, blood flowing freely and brings it down in retaliation at Ragnarok.Attack: 9 Damage: 9
