Round 2:
Mal lit his torch and let loose a war cry, preparing to charge in as Calantha caught up.
Crom stepped forward and fired an arrow.
Ragnarok if you finish the 10 feet of movement you have, you'll be next to a goblin if you want to have attacked for this round.
Ink casts mind sliver.
There is a flurry of arrows as the goblins have been waiting with their bows ready. Four of them loose their arrows at Crom and Ragnarok immediately. One of them who had been hiding behind the nearby rock strikes out at Ragnarok with his scimitar. From the other side of the rock a very large wolf leaps out next to Crom, trying to bite him as it flies through the air. From the back of the room a javelin is hurled by the large bugbear, aimed at Ragnarok.
Two of the goblins' arrows streak towards Crom, both piercing his leather armour and digging into his ribs. Blows that would have felled him, were it not for his part orcish heritage. Instead he grits his teeth, a vein in his forehead throbbing, and lets out a savage growl. He drops his bow as he sidesteps the lunging wolf and draws his second shortsword. He slashes upward with both swords against the wolf's momentum, aiming for its throat.
Attack: 23 Damage: 4
Attack: 18 Damage: 5
Crom then uses his momentum to attempt to spin around the wolf and put his back to a nearby stalagmite to use as cover from the goblins.
After roaring out Mall makes a rush for the first goblin he sees, Smashing down in one arcing motion with his morningstar, he lifts it back up as he twists his body rearing back whilst simulatneously thrusting his flaming torch forward in a secondary attack.
"Look who made it to the fight!"Crom calls out to Mal from his cover. Despite his light remark, it is clear that Crom is not doing well. His face shows clear sign of strain even in the dim light, and now that his initial burst of adrenaline has passed, his heavy breathing and wincing betrays the discomfort the two arrows are causing him
Croms swords seriously injure the wolf, his slashes spraying blood on the cave walls as the wolf howls in pain. Mal runs up behind it and with a mighty blow from his morningstar, the wolf falls dead with a whimper. From the back of the cave a scream of anger and agony comes from the bugbear as he sees his friend fall dead.
Ragnarok in one swift motion strikes down a goblin, and swings at the other goblin near him, this one nimbly dodging.
Calantha charges after Mal, slashing at the first goblin she sees. It's clear from Crom's strained voice that he has been seriously injured. They need to dispatch these goblins quickly!
Calantha runs up and charges into battle next to Ragnarok, swinging at the goblin he is fighting, but in her rush to make it up there loses her balance slightly causing her attack to go wide.

Leaning against the cool rock, Crom gingerly touches the haft of one of the arrows protruding from his ribs. The twinge of pain tells him all he needs to know. They are too deep to simply pull out.
Wincing, he looks about for his bow. He spies it sitting where he dropped it, just as a goblin arrow clatters into the rock beside it. Too far. Too risky. Especially with the bugbear closing in.
"I don't think I'm getting out of this one alive," Crom says to himself, panting with the mere exertion of drawing breath. And then he's off. He runs around the stalagmite, leaping over the wolf's corpse, past Mal, and behind the northernmost stalagmite. He emerges from the other side with both swords flashing in at the exposed side of the goblin archer.

"Cover Rag, I've got Crom, keep pushing forward, take the hits" Mal hurriedlysays to Calantha before moving up on the other side of the stalagmite to Crom. As Mal gets there he swings around the cavern's protrusion attempting to slam the goblin face-first into it using his deadly spiked weapon, following that swing yet again with a lunge of the burning torch as he splashes forth in the waters.

Calantha raises her shield to deflect the goblins' arrows. They thunk into the wood. This time she is determined to strike the goblin Ragnarok is also attacking. Together they should be able to fell it quickly. But as she glances at Ragnarok, she sees the half-orc is not in good shape as the bugbear attacks him with a morningstar. Calantha decides to attack the bugbear instead of the other goblin. It is more of a threat.
"Hey ugly! How do you like this?" she shouts at the creature, stabbing it with her longsword.
The goblin is able to duck out of the way of Croms attacks, splashing water all around.
As it turns to the other side of the stalagmite, Mal rushes in and absolutely clobbers the goblin with his first strike, almost dropping it entirely. The follow up swing with the torch is enough that the goblin falls and a loud splash comes from the water.
Calantha steps over the unconscious Ragnarok and a dead goblin, while slashing at the bugbear around the rock, slicing him and provoking another cry of pain.
