Ruby takes a swig of the wine and hands it back to Ariana. "Well, I think I´m fine for now, but if you think there´s more trouble ahead then I´ll drink it." She says to Kulogall and starts as silently as possible, going down the stairs, checking for any traps while they walk.
Ariana quietly pulls out the medicine vial and hands it to Ruby, then puts the half-consumed vial in a pocket. She shows Ruby and whoever is behind her in line which pocket she puts it in, in case they need quick access to it.

Wake will fall in line, following the group. He will reset his Vigilant Blessing and save his last spell slot for an emergency heal, that hopefully won’t be needed. He empathizes with Kulogall in his struggle down the stairs as he is still trying to get used to the plate mail he is wearing. He prays to Selune for assistance in being silent himself.
All - As you all file through the hole in the wall and past the torch your shadows dance upon the wet walls. Ruby makes it to the fork and stops to listen. The path to the west is dark and silent, but the path to the east is lit by torches set in brackets at various points along the wall. The sound of voices can be heard coming from the east passage as well, though they are impossible to make out. Suddenly Kulogall slips on the slimy stairs and causes Daveth to slip as well. They both catch themselves, but Daveth's shield smacks into the cave wall as he regains his balance. The sound echoes loudly through the winding passages. Elwyn hears the voices to the east stop abruptly, followed by silence. After a few seconds the faint sound of leather booted feet creeping down the east passage can be heard and something is moving through the patches of shadow toward the party. What would you all like to do?
"Hush, they are coming, from over there." Elwyn whispers motioning towards the eastern tunnel. He tries to make Ruby and Ariana fall back to get out of sight while using his wand to create a sound similar to what Daveth gave away, but now coming from the tunnel to the southwest, hoping to lure the bandits there. Approaching figure Intelligence check vs. Elwyn's Spell Save DC of 13: 20
Elwyn & All - As you huddle back into the tunnel out of sight, you hear the figure creep up to the fork in front of the stairs. You see a humanoid shadow with a sword in hand flickering upon the north wall for a few seconds... You hear the figure take a step on the stairs when suddenly all other sound is eclipsed by a loud clanging noise echoing from the western passage. The shadow of the figure whips its head to the west and slips away in that direction. A few seconds later you hear a rough voice call out, "Keep it down or you'll join the girl at the bottom of the sea!" The figure stomps back the way it came, muttering to itself. After a bit you hear the same rough voice say, "...just... ...amned slave ...akin' ...racket." The sounds of conversation begin again from the east and the western path is still silent.

All - The path continues eastward and at a slight decline for another 20ft before forking again. The eastern passage is still lit by flickering torches along the walls and the sounds of conversation can still be heard in that direction. The southern passage offers only darkness and silence. As Ruby tries to make room for Ariana in the tight space, her new longsword scrapes loudly against the wall. A curse is heard coming from the east followed by a different voice that says, "See to it that they aren't trying to escape. Make an example if you have to, but don't kill any of them. They need to be alive and in decent enough condition if we want to make any coin on them." The rough voice from before replies, "Gladly. That dragonborn fella could use a good kickin' or two. I don't like the way 'e looks at me, all proud and defiant-like." The other voice replies, "Take Alvor with you, just in case. Our dragonborn guest is a big one and I don't need him running loose." You then hear the sounds of more than one person making their way down the east tunnel in your direction!
Let's roll for initiative! Combat hasn't started per se, but this is a time sensitive event and combat could very well break out.

"My guess is the bandits are the slavers, you just pick a tunnel and we'll probably find out." Elwyn says with a quick smile.
"Right.." She whispers and continous to the east, where the voices are coming from.
