"Hey Krunchy!" He yells, "You might find this interesting!" He tosses a bag containing 3 cooking spices to him. With a little more looking, he calls out to Ban "Hey Ban!" and tosses her a bag of 18 copper.
"As Promised!" He says with a wink.
Clearly excited at the copper bag, "Thanks love. I can tell we'll get along famously, at this rate."
OOC: While we’re waiting on our new Elf aneed to ask the group about HP updates. Would you guys rather manage your own hit points or have me perform that task?
OOC: I can keep track of mine, gotta keep track of my spell slots anyways. If I go below half HP I'll say Krunchy looks bloodied. Then give specific numbers if anyone asks.
Krunchy, delighted at being tossed a few spices, "Splendid Talon! Those orcs wouldn't know how to use these even if I gave them my recipe book. You're too kind, take this in return. I insist!"Krunchy hands him a small box of butter that looks as if it has been made from exceedingly rotten milk, and even has a couple flies in it.
Also seeing a new friend pop up, turns to Ban and takes out his bottle of putrid ale and offers some to her, "Hello there my fair elf lady! I am Krunchy, travelling divine culinary artist at your service! Glad to see another friend, care to try my Crunchy Stout? My old halfling teacher loved it and my dwarf parents wanted me to 'Travel as far away as I could,' in order to spread my gifts. Please, try some."
He pops open the cork, forks and spoons rattling as he walks to her, and joyfully offers some to her or anyone else.
Seeing the response from Talon, she responds "I don't due well work alcohol. I get a little out of control, and not in a goood way. Perhaps another time when we're now otherwise busy, eh?"
OOC: I dont have a problem managing my own HP and Resources. But you can track the EXP for us like BeastyC said if its alright.
Morgram takes down his Bo-Staff "Well, one more to help should be alright. And Xander seems to know you. My name is Morgram." he says to Ban. After introducing himself, he looks to the others "The Constable is right, we should go as soon as possible"
When the group will start to go on, Morgram will go to Krunchy "Thanks for your healing. I'm feeling much better now! And your bless truly give me some power. From wich god did it come if i may ask", he seems really interested.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, and I'm sure even more a pleasure to meet me" with a flip on the hair, "I agree. Time is seldom in favor of those in need."
ooc: sorry about that... New to DnD beyond but not new to DnD. Figuring out all the response tools. Is there any particular formatting that the group would prefer to use? Like for ooc comments or other things? I've seen a couple different ways and don't wanna make it confusing.
Understood. I'll follow that going forward. What about replying to a player's post? Quoting instead of replying, I've seen as well as responding normally as well. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
Truth can be a hard thing to discern, what may be one persons truth could be anothers fiction. In the case of Krunchy, those lines are further blurred, but you get the sense that Krunchy believes what he is saying.
As you round a bend in the footpath, the footpath opens up into a small clearing. The clearing seems to be devoid of the usual ground cover. Dark dirt extends to the edge of the clearing. From the clearing you can see two footpaths, one that leads to the North West, and one that leads to the North East. In the center is a small campfire in the middle of 3 partially exposed gray boulders. From the tracks the Orc made, it seems that they entered the clearing from the foot path to the North West. You also notice that there are drag marks that lead towards the North West path.
Curiously, rom the tracks, it would seem that the Orc entered the clearing, started the fire and just sat in wait. How long that wait was is difficult to determine. You hear the wind rustling the branches high in the treetops overhead. As this catches your attention, you realize that it's the only sound you hear. No familiar sounds such as crickets or the song of the nightlark.
The fog in the treetops has descended further, limiting your view upwards to no further than 60 feet. Although you couldn't have imagined it, the forest is getting darker.
With the darkness becoming more oppressing, Ban states "Looks like something went awry here. Perhaps these drag markings are indicative of the missing person." Being a little uneasy, she'll hold her arms close to her body, go to the edge of the clearing, and roll for stealth to hide in the foggy darkness.
"I agree that the drag marks are a good indication... I can't help but feel like these orcs were waiting here to meet somebody."
"I have the same feeling. We Should be careful and take the path with the Drag Marks. Am i the only one who has the feeling that its getting darker and colder Here?"

OOC: I'll format when I can, I usually post from my phone so I don't have access to bold and coloured text haha
Rey says to the group; "Perhaps we should be weary- stick to the shadows like our new friend Ban"
OOC: No probs about the formatting, I’m on mobile most of the time as well! Would the rest of the group roll Stealth? Krunchy, I’m thinking you have disavantage.
What about replying to a player's post? Quoting instead of replying, I've seen as well as responding normally as well. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
For me personally, if it's to answer a specific question out of character or about the game in general, I'll quote the question only—deleting the rest of the irrelevant text like other embedded quotes, otherwise it gets messy when you're quoting someone with multiple quotes within their post, etc. I also leave responses like this separate from OOC comments just so no one overlooks it.
If it's my character responding to another character in game, then I don't quote, but narrate my response to show that I'm replying to whomever is speaking to my character. That's just my personal style though. Some PbP campaigns use group PMs to keep OOC and any other questions out of the thread so it's easier to read and follow.
Also, for PEOPLE ON MOBILE DEVICES(myself included), you *CAN* do text formatting and Dice rolls. Just switch to Desktop View when you click the 3 bars at the top right to access the site menu. Once finished with desktop view, you can switch it back by clicking Mobile View at the very bottom of the page. Just be aware, post your reply before switching to either Desktop or Mobile, otherwise you will lose your entire post. That's why most of my posts are edited, that's me typing a response then going back in desktop view and editing the format, rolling dice, etc then I switch back to Mobile View. Hope that info helps.
I think generally,
OOC Comments in Bold
Speech In Colored Text
Narration in normal
OOC: I'm fine with managing my own HP, EXP, etc.
