As the deep gnome moves behind him, Glugrug begins to hear a mysterious throbbing noise in his head, almost like the beating of a heart, like the beating of the hearts of the hobgoblin soldiers he accidentally burned to death, their heartbeats haunting him...
He manages to get his wits about him and uses one of his artificer's tools to launch a bolt of fire at the closest enemy. The fire makes him a little queasy as thoughts of his past monstrous mistake taunt and haunt him.
Glugrug blasts one of the creatures with his fire bolt attack. It lets out a demonic scream in pain as it burns to a crisp.
Aranea creeps up to one of the creatures and attack with her rapier. He powerful swing of the rapier beheads the creature. It falls the floor head toppling off its shoulders.
Then Jerick creates a ghostly hand that in manifests just in front of one of the creatures and latches on to it. However, it seems to do little damage to the creature.
Assuming it won't put him at risk of an opportunity attack, Glugrug moves to ensure there's some distance between himself and the closest attacker. Then he conjures another blast of fire.

Grinning with satisfaction as she beheads the undead monster, Aranea turns to seek out the next closest target. Her blade is ready to taste more blood.

Jerick is looking rough after getting zapped by the book and now slashed by this monster.
Jerick noticed that his necrotic cantrip didn't do much damage to these monsters, so he rotates the crystal in his hand and casts ray of frost at the remaining creature.
Glugrug looks on as the half-elven woman falls, hoping that they may be able to revive her if they can quickly defeat their opponents. He quickly fires another magical bolt.
