Gus slowly makes his way through the corridor as Weber clears the caltrops.
He moves against the wall as Attalia nimbly passes his by. Seeing her stop and peer over the wall, he stops himself, about 10 feet away.
As Attalia returns to let the part know what she's discovered, he keeps his eye on the small wall, making sure she's not spotted and followed.
"Jus' two wee gob's y'say? Should be able to make short work of 'em. Hopefully before they can earn any others. Maybe we can get some answers from one of 'em if we can take 'em alive?" Gus speaks quietly to his companions, careful not to draw attention.
Already prone, the goblin makes a soft groan and then goes still. The remaining goblin looks confused and before he tries to move, he feels Gus's knee in his back. He goes limp and stoically waits for the killing blow. (A is closed door leading south, normal door, not locked)
Gus moves the tip of his spear to the Goblin's throat, keeping his substantial weight on its back, "Move wrong, and m'spear will do what it's meant for," he speaks softly to his captive.
"We need some answers 'bout this place, and you're in a good position to answer 'em."
"And then kill me when you are done, no thank you. I am prepared, do your worst"
"Hey! These guys are only looking for their friends, not glory seekers or treasure hunters, I will take you back to my queen and we'll ransom you like we have done before."
relaxes...
"Is that true? If you are people of honor, ask your questions and I will answer the best I can if you promise to pay our ransom after you find your friends."
His partner is still alive but unless he is given basic medical attention right now, he will die.
"We've no desire, nor reason to cut down anyone that isn't trying to do the same to us. Killing you face down in your bed would do the world no good," Gus moves the tip of the spear from his neck, but keeps his weight on his back.
"Attalia, keep a hold of the other one," Gus nods at his friend as he reaches his free hand out, mutters a few practiced words and uses Lay on Hands to restore 1 hit point to the wounded goblin, stabilising it.
"That was to show we're folk of our word, in return for your co-operation."

“We’re looking for three humans, two males and a female, they were accompanied by a fourth, a ranger, but we’ve not long found his corpse with the rats.” Weber responds to the goblin pinned down by Gus he moves over to the door and tries to hear anything on the other side Perception:5
"We caught the three of them over a month ago, and they were captives for a while. I heard their names were Talgen, Sharwyn, and Sir Braford. We kept them only about a week before we removed them. Belak wanted them, and that’s the last I’ve heard about that.”
"Some guys were boasting about catching a dragon, I didn't see any dragon but others said they saw it."
At the door, you can hear what sounds like spears or arrows hitting something and then falling onto the stone floor, muffled though, some distance away.
"Belak is the druid who watches over the grove in the lower level, he grows the apples we sell. I don't go down there but I have not heard good things, he is powerful though."
"That explains a lot, I wondered how a bunch of goblins got to be so organized."
"I feel we'll meet this Belak soon enough, I hope the others are safe for now." Gus says, stroking his chin.
"You said he grows apples that you sell. What's so special about these apples?" He continues, focusing again, "An' what can we expect to come across for the rest of this place. The sooner we find Sir Braford, the others and this Dragon, the better. Knowing what to expect would help us a lot."
"The apples I have heard have healing properties, other than that I don't know, he has deliver them every so often and sell them to the highest bidder and bring back the money. Some of them though are pretty nasty so he has us toss them when we travel into town."
"As you can expect, you can expect more goblins and if you don't get the jump on them, don't expect an easy time of it. This is our territory and you came uninvited so you'll get what you deserve."
"Sounds to me like this is Belak's territory, an' he just tolerates you and your Kin being here whilst you're useful to him." Gus speaks with a hint of sadness in his voice. "Maybe you an' yours would be better off without him using you as pack mules to do his bidding."
"We need t'find this druid, an' bring our charges back to the surface, then we'll leave this place with no intention to return. What's the safest way for us to get to the grove, with as little harm coming to any more Goblins as possible? I have a feeling that we'll find the Dragon either on our way, or at our destination" Gus' tone returns to normal, focused on their task ahead.

Weber crouches low moving behind Atallia (Stealth: 17 if required) waiting for a signal to strike.
Weber will ready an Eldritch Blast to fire at the same time as the first strike if possible.
"I can smell 'em alright, what's the plan?"
"Use the wall for cover, fire over it. I'll jump over and engage and try not to kill at least one for interrogation."
When she sees her companions are ready, she will vault over the wall [Acrobatics: 17] and move between the two goblins.
She then will attack the northmost goblin.
