As Gus passes by door B, he stops and looks at it inquisitively.
"Hold up a sec, what's in there?" He points at the door and steps towards it, feeling the cold draught, "I'd like to make sure that nothing comes up behind us, should we check in here before we go on?"
"hah! found you! Did I miss anything? And before you ask, I did not kill him, apparently there was a patrol following us to make sure you were not doing any treasure hunting so I handed him off to them."
“Hullo Meepo! As long as he gets to Yusdrayl safe, so he can explain the plan, that’s all that matters,” Gus beams at the Kobold, before turning his attention back to the door.
He presses his ear against the door to listen for any activity on the other side.
“Why is the room so cold compared to everywhere else? It’s a bit strange for these parts no?” Weber still not trusting the goblin at all presses the matter.
Gus wispers back to Meepo, "I think y'r thinkin' what I'm thinkin', little fella,"
He turns to the others, "I know we've got places to get to, but I think we should check this room out first. Think there might be a clue to one of our objectives in there."
"Attalia, y'got those tools of yours there? Think y'can pop this lock f'r us?" he gestures to the door, "Rather not pan the door in if we have to."
"It would be folly to leave a door unchecked behind us." Durthon agrees, positioning himself between the goblin and door A. Standing ready to stop their guide from fleeing.

“Here let me take a look, I’m a dab hand at getting in places That try and keep me out”. Weber says with a smirk, borrowing the thieves tools from Attalia and heads towards the locked door.

"Let me do that, just keep that goblin away."
the door opens...
Mounted and stuffed animal heads adorn the walls. The mounting job is sloppy, and the assortment of heads includes cattle, rats, and other not particularly impressive specimens. A few grisly trophies share the wall with the animals, including a couple of kobold heads. Smashed and broken cabinets and small tables litter the periphery of the room, mute victims of some sort of rampage. A rusted iron spike stands in the center of the room, trailing a broken chain. Thin patches of frost coat sections of the walls, floor, and debris.

As the door opens and the room comes into view, Gus puts out his hand to stop Meepo from running in blindly.
"We should be careful, real careful here." He slowly moves into the room, with his shield raised, and moves towards the spike and chain in the middle of the room.
Seeing the Dragon rear up, Gus readies himself behind his shield, only to realise that the attack he expected isn't coming. He lowers his shield and looks at the dragon as it speaks to him.
Gus backs up and reaches his free hand behind him, still focused on the creature in front of him, fumbling for the door to close it.
"By Oghma, y're a thing of beauty." Gus shakes himself out of his awe, almost closing the door, "Wait, jus' me? Why no-one else?"
"You strike as someone I can trust, please tell me this is true. I don't know where I am and I don't think I can go another round with that bugbear they sent to break me. I thought that idiot Meepo was bad enough, now I have seen worse. All I can figure is that the kobolds stole me from my parent's nest and took me to this place. And now the goblins have me."
Durthon takes a closer look at the dragin carvings. "Did your people carve the columns here?" he asks to the goblin.

"Those dragon carvings were here long before we were. Lots of dragon stuff around here, that's why the kobolds showed up I imagine."
you do see a figure coming up behind you...
"hah! found you! Did I miss anything? And before you ask, I did not kill him, apparently there was a patrol following us to make sure you were not doing any treasure hunting so I handed him off to them."
The goblin gives Meepo a hard stare.
“Hullo Meepo! As long as he gets to Yusdrayl safe, so he can explain the plan, that’s all that matters,” Gus beams at the Kobold, before turning his attention back to the door.
He presses his ear against the door to listen for any activity on the other side.
Perception: 14
The door is very cold, no detectable noise can be heard coming from inside the room. The door is locked however.
"That's not the way! let's keep moving. I don't have the key anyway."
“Why is the room so cold compared to everywhere else? It’s a bit strange for these parts no?” Weber still not trusting the goblin at all presses the matter.
Meepo's eyes light up and then tries to act like nothing's changed...
whispers...
"We have to get in that room! Lock or no lock."
Gus wispers back to Meepo, "I think y'r thinkin' what I'm thinkin', little fella,"
He turns to the others, "I know we've got places to get to, but I think we should check this room out first. Think there might be a clue to one of our objectives in there."

motions to the goblin...
"These guys need to rest and could use a cold drink, how about you help me look at these dragon carvings while we wait?"
“Here let me take a look, I’m a dab hand at getting in places That try and keep me out”. Weber says with a smirk, borrowing the thieves tools from Attalia and heads towards the locked door.

Investigation: 22
You see the dragon, he is going to attack! but then stops and focuses on you and your holy symbols.
he speaks:
"Quick! Shut the door! Don't let anyone else in!"
Seeing the Dragon rear up, Gus readies himself behind his shield, only to realise that the attack he expected isn't coming. He lowers his shield and looks at the dragon as it speaks to him.

Seeing Gus close the door behind him, Durthon moves to grab the goblin "you knew the dragon was there! Why are you trying to hide it from us?"
"You strike as someone I can trust, please tell me this is true. I don't know where I am and I don't think I can go another round with that bugbear they sent to break me. he does look injured and quite exhausted...
begins to whine
"I didn't know, I thought Balsag had him! I was told it was none of my business anyway!"
"The dragon's in there?!?! Did you hurt him!?!? There will be NO PEACE if you did!! Why did he shut the door?!?!"
