Watching the dealings taking place before him, Klopas responds with a nod to each introduction.
"Well, it's a pleasure to meet each of you."he comments thoughtfully. Then, looking a bit distant momentarily as if mulling over plans, he continued..
"Khea is a person, Brundt. She approached Goran and I earlier in the Guild Hall, and wants us to meet her at what is presumably her cottage near the edge of town."
For a moment, Klopas glances around into the faces of those at the table.
"I plan on going, and felt the intent for all of you to meet her as well. It lines up with the information you found out elsewise, and will be the only lead to answering the questions of what we witnessed earlier... though... it could also be a trap."
"What? That old lady? Nah, that's no trap." His dismissal of any thought of danger concerning at first to Klopas. "Anyway, even if it is a trap, did you see how we handled those riders? That old lady wouldn't stand a chance." His eyes lower a little as he fall in to an overly rehearsed role. "Besides, I owe my freedom to you all. I shall do as the group decides".
Brundt processes the claim that Khea had approached Klopas and Goran. After a moment, he speaks up, "Indeed she is a person. And not just any old lady," he continues, addressing Goran's statement. "She is the sage I mentioned. That we would all be led there... Something is happening. I feel it."
And I simply must be around to discover what it is, he thinks to himself privately, gripping his book bag tightly with anticipation.
"Well then, let's beoff," Brundt says, only slowing on his way out the door to regard Abrontodon's actions with bewilderment.
As Brundt exits, Goran sees Abrontodon start to choke. "Um, someone want to offer up a hug?" He follows Brundt out the door, hoping one of the stronger travellers will take note of his request.

Already nearly out the door when he sees things go south for Abrontodon. He sees Klopas trying to assist her, but Brundt has things to do and little patience for diversions now that he has a direction. He strides over and places a large hand just below her diaphram. He then gives a quick thrust of his palm, timing it with Klopas' rhythm.

An enormous chunk of olive bread and several litres of wine explode onto the floor with a thunderous retch and then the greatful intake of several deep breaths.
Abrontodon wiped her mouth with the back of her hand and slung the other arm around Brundts shoulder.
" Thanks for that.", she gasped. " Its been awhile since I've had two guys that hands on.....well...I say a while...bacchanals get a bit blurry....but whilst I may tend towards the ladies I am now reminded that you fellas can come in clutch on occasion yourselves."
She looked down at the huge puddle of wine and wine soaked bread and slapped another 2 gold down on the table and legged it for the door, " Sorry about the mess!"
" Can you imagine if that was the way I died?", she grinned in relief. " Mother would have had kittens."
As they make their way out the door and into the street on their way to Khea's cottage, Brundt says, "Not quite the name you are hoping to make for yourself, eh? Abrontodon the Asphyxiated."

Brundt, unlike Klopas, had encountered choking people on a few occasions before. They were invaluable opportunities for observation and learning, supplementing his understanding of human physiology. He still carries the notes he took on those occasions. Oh, and of course, someone always came along to help the unfortunate sod who was choking while Brundt watched, so no harm done. In fact, though he never planned to apply that knowledge practically, had Brundt not learned from those experiences he wouldn't have been able assist Abrontodon. So certainly no one could argue he didn't do the right thing.
With that rationalization out of the way, Brundt eagerly leads the group, taking long strides down the road. Upon reaching the cottage, Brundt unclasps his book bag and pulls out a well-weathered tome and a quill. Then, with no further hesitation, he strolls up to the door and delivers three heavy knocks.
An old woman opens the door, withered and frail-looking. "Crap." You hear her mumble under her breath. "Adventurers, I suppose, and of course you have to visit me on this quest of yours? Well, I can't take you till next morning."

Goran approaches the open door gingerly "Sorry to bother you. We where told to visit the lovely lady in the cottage. I am sorry that our appearance may have startled you, or perhaps is at a bad time but is there any chance we could take an audience now? We've travelled such a long way." He pleads in his most subservient tone.
