Goran, now emboldened by the retreat of the snake, saunters over to Brundt. He attempts to check his pulse "Um, where do I check his pulse? I mean I've never looked after a mino before." He decides to check him over as if he were human. He is just about to grab Brundt's wrist when a chilling cry echoes through the area. Goran drops his patients wrist fearing he had hurt him. The sobbing draws his attention towards Abrontonon. "What's wrong?" he says with a start.
"I'd say it would be an insult to Diana if we didn't..." Klopas replies.
Seeing that Brundt had not only stabilized, but recovered slightly, Klopas looks to his fellows.
"I'm not really looking to lose two of our party today." he comments. "Can anyone heal Brundt? I don't see how we can continue if not. He'll need healing first."

(Brundt will recover over the next hour to regain consciousness)
Klopas stops and grits his teeth as the serpent retreats into the waters.
"Tch..!" he sounds with an angered click of his tongue against his teeth.
Taking a deep sigh and trying to gather his composure, he walks over to Abrotonon and places his hand on her shoulder.
"I'm sorry..." he says in short and heartfelt tone. Then, returning his hand, walks back toward Brundt.
Abrotonon barely acknowledged Klopas' touch but it seemed to rouse her nonetheless, she stood and turned towards the others.
" What now?"
She made eye contact with Klopas, " We've paid a heavy price....should we head in regardless or give this up as a fools errand?"
Gone was her easy smile and relaxed deameanour, she was tense and taut to the point of snapping....

Brundt grunts and sits up slowly, wincing. "I've got it," he grumbles. He clutches his wound and begins muttering an incantation.

"Alright, let's get moving"
Goran shuffles impatiently as he waits for the others to come to terms with what has transpired. While he waits he examines the stone door.

Abrontonon helps Goran: 7
Klopas nods to himself and Brundt, and turns toward the door.
"I could break it..." he comments, "...but would prefer to open it as intended."
Klopas does his best to understand the door.

Abrontonon looked it over, " Any ideas? I'm not up on my religious stuff...."

( Sorry. I didn't think we'd worked out how to open it yet.)
(That was my understanding too. Goran even tried a thinly veiled LotR reference)
Brundt looks at the etchings and says "This looks like the right place at least. Shall we?"
Abrotonon leans on the door pushing it open, " Anyone got a torch?"
