“So we sleeping here tonight? Or are we headin back to the inn and have a fresh start in the morning? We can discuss what to start with then?”

"I don't think we have the gold for such luxuries now. like staying at an Inn if we're going to do this." Cat says climbing back upstairs 

She then sits the Doll on the bar "Idoza, any chance you could tell us what kind of magic is on my doll?" she smiles "Please."

she starts helping with the cleaning.

"It spooked you that much, love?" Idoza replied with a smirk as she propped herself up against the bar and side-eyed Cat. Turning afterwards back to the doll, she appears thoughtful for a second before shrugging and clasping her amulet. "If rest we are to find then best to expedite things."  With a word spoken in celestial and a bit of focus, Idoza's eyes took on a golden hue as she examined the doll.

(Casting Eye of Tyr and maintaining concentration on it for its full 10 minute duration.)

If nothing comes up then she'd say as much, but look around the bar for good measure. "Seeing as things won't be official until the morning, best we return to the Inn anyhow. Some of you may not know, but the magisters and other officials can be awfully stuffy about procedures; especially where it comes to occupation... But I would like to have a look around upstairs before we go."

Idoza smile gradually fades as she stared at the doll. "Enchantment? Now that's interesting. And worrisome." Her frown deepens before she looks to the others. "And you found this in the cellar?  Nothing else?" She asked. "If so, that begs quite a few questions.... But for now, we still have the rest of the house to explore before our return, so let's be off then. We can see about finishing cleaning once this place officially becomes ours tomorrow." On that note, she makes her way for the first floor if its doors are unlocked and sets about to examining the place floor by the floor and room by room with her spell ever active.

Piers warily follows Idoza, his staff beside him as he watches for anything else in the house that may be strange.

Perception: 17

"I found a bottle of wine that looks like it's still good." she confesses  "I figured we'd open it in celebration when this place is opened. Whatever we make it into."

Noting that she is the only one wanting to stay She takes the doll and keeps it with her. "Thanks Idoza so that's what enchantment does eh? Make things talk." she says while following.

 "After a fashion, yes. The school of enchantment as a wizard might put it is focused on affecting the mind. Bolstering it in some cases or manipulating it in others." She expressed as she tried the handled, only to be met with some frustration in the lock. She carries on without missing much of a beat and adds, "Which is why I was concerned. If it were evocation or even illusion tied to it, it'd be one thing. But I'm no scholar. It could just as well be a case of the doll making one 'think' they hear it speak. A relatively harmless enchantment at the end of the day."

Turning then to the others she adds, "In any event, I believe that's enough exploring for one night. If any of you still wish to stay in the parts that are at least open, then feel free to, I guess. Although if there's to be any contract signing during the initial meeting, it may make things a touch awkward in the morning." A brief smile accompanies the last note.

“Sounds good. We should get some rest. Between cleaning and selling stuff tomorrow, could make for a busy day.”

Cat tries to pick the lock that Idoza tried, as curiosity gets the better of her. 26
