"Thank you Embric. How did you and Avi meet?" Wondering if genasi are sterile or amorphic.  She then says with a smile as she stands there letting them measure her

"I know my eyes are bigger than our purse. But that (mithral) chain shirt looks magical. How much is it. We have someone here that could use it." Her metaphorical wheels in her mind continue to turn, she adds "Where can we sell paintings?"

Idoza perks up at the mention of making weapons from the bar. She then almost just as quickly frowns and looked away a bit annoyed at something before shaking her head and turning back again to the conversation. "I'm not so sure about grabbing something quite as expensive as that shirt is liable to be so good idea. But, I do like where your head is at and a halfway decent normal one aughta suffice." She looks then to Drux. "Right?" 

“I just need something a bit better than this leather I have. I wouldn’t mind getting some chain like that but, that would probably set us back. Anything in the mid range would be great if ya have it, thanks.” And with that Drux hands over his leathers to put into the mix. “This should help towards the cost too, right?”

Back to Idoza, “I’m not much of a shopper, can ya tell? That’s all I need though, I think, so we can get a move on once Cat is done with her order.”

Piers, who had come back into the shop, leans against the wall with his arms crossed. He smiles at the tale of the two genasi - such love was rare and to be treasured. "We may wish to come back and purchase it later if we can - I would advise we speak to Volo and get estimates on repairing the manor before we make any big expenditures. I'm sure the armor will still be here when we return."

Noting the Mithral chain shirt (Mithral is a light, flexible metal. A mithral chain shirt or breastplate can be worn under normal clothes. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn't.) is cheaper than breastplate(400gp) and thinking that nether partner in the marriage has a womb she blushes "Thats a wonderful story Embric, you can tell me more of it when I work for you. I agree Piers. So, what are you going to buy Drux, scale male?" She always liked scale male (AC14 + Dex modifier (max 2) 50gp Disadvantaged on stealth)  but found it too restrictive and noisy when sneaking. But other than normal a chain shirt (13 + Dex modifier (max 2) 50gp No Disadvantage on stealth) Or another suite of studded leather (AC 12 + Dex Modifier (no restrictions) 45gp)   Course these folks are giving us a 5gp discount to the above which makes her happy.

Idoza had nodded understandingly and even smiled a bit. Momentarily floored after by the genasi, it took her a good few seconds to almost visible reboot before the cleric shook her and chuckled at seemingly nothing. After whispering a few more words in some pleasant yet alien language to the empty space beside her, she crossed her arms and settled in to observe, least she further delay things with commentary. Just as soon as any deals are made(or not), she bids the pair of genasi bye in a short bow before stepping outside to check the sun. "Hmm... Wonder if we even have enough time?"

Looking to Cat, running the numbers, Drux asks, “Is that something we can do now before we head over to talk about the building purchase and improvements?”

Cat seeing what Drux does "Yes, I guess I'll sell my leather too. I think we'll come here for our weapons and stuff for now on Embric." She says to the group. "We're going to have to go find Volo and that agent."

She starts taking off her leather then she looks around her cheeks grow bright red thinking of modesty "Got anywhere I can dress?"

To sign the deed

She comes out of the room dressed in her new armor sporting a red cloak she pilfered from one of the Kenku. Twirls around and does a pose. A mock seductive smile at Drux and Piers the only true males in the room "Well how do I look?"

Piers has been standing in the threshold of the smithy during the duration of the visit, wanting to be with the other members of the group but not keen on the smell of smoke and metal. Fresh air was comforting to the druid.

He looks over as Cathern returns from the back room, dressed in her new armor and cloak. His own attire is humble - a simple set of brown and green clothes with light boots, but he looks her over with a keen aesthetic eye before nodding in approval. "Truly, you look marvelous, my friend. The colors go together especially well."

She smiles and curtseys "Thank you Piers." she goes over and assists with Drux's armor then bids the Genasi "Till next time."

“Looking splendid and ready for battle there Cat. I think the chain shirt will be just what I need to give me a bit more of an edge. Thanks for the help!”

She looks over and picks up an ordinary shield and pays for it with her own coin. Hands it to Drux "Since you wanna be our tank, you may wanna use this." and walks out the door and stands next to Piers waiting for the group.

(I think we're ready)

Drux receives the gift from Cat with a small nod in thanks. “I welcome any help that will equip me to be stronger.” He straps it to his pack. “This may take some getting used to.”

In thieves cant, he asks Cat, “With needing gold to improve this bar, should we utilize ALL avenues available to us to bring in resources for the group? I have a feeling not everyone will be ok with a mischievous approach,” and he finishes that sentence with a small nod in Idoza’s direction.

Idoza lofts a brow then looked away muttering the word, "What's a tank?" Soon after though she just shook her head dimissively, and followed the others out just as soon as Drux finished getting himself outfitted. "You know it just occurred to me that we never asked if Volo for the bloody keys to the place before heading off to check it out. Though, that is making some assumptions I guess." She rattled off-handedly. 

(Yup, onward to the meeting with Volo & the magistrate.)
