Kramyra looks at Khessa, "I'll do what I can!" And Kramyra heads towards the bandits so she can attack, but only far enough so she can retreat back to the barricade afterwards. She positions herself down the stairs where she can get as many of the bandits as possible in a 15' cone as she brings her paws together and casts burning hands upon them. After the attack, she retreats.
Khessa keeps holding the position. She whispers to her mates: "I advise you don't stay in melee reach, when they come to the barricade (unless you have better ideas). I'll defend the barricade, fighting one at a time (mostly blocking). It will be hard for the attacker to hit me. You stay a few steps back and kill the attacker from range. Hopefully, will take less time for you to kill all the attackers, than for the attackers to kill me".
Khessa keeps taking the best cover she can and taking the dodge action (attacks against her are at disvantage).
Then, she tries again to let herself inspire from the taunting art of her brother Rethos. Rethos, whom she so many times had to take away from beatings or any sort of troubles... But she had not been able, in the end, to take him away from the drow. Hopefully, now he was having enough sense NOT to taunt them also...
Then, one of the two:
If there are bandits still standing inside:
Khessa laughs at them: "Did you like it? Do you wish to stay there for round two? Or can you muster enough courage to take the stairs and cross your blades with mine?"
If the bandits inside have been all taken out:
Khessa calls out (addressing the bandit's leader still outside - she does not see him, but she thinks he will hear her): "Hey, general, why are you taking so long? We finished playing with the men you sent. What is your plan to kill us? You want to kill us... of boredom? Stop sending weaklings to do your job and show me how man you are!"

Gryrim shouts out at his would-be attacker "I've had drunken lads throw bottles at me better than that!" The taunt is followed quickly with a flick of his wrist. An amber coloured splash streaks across the sky in the direction of Kella.
Kan reaches out and touches Khessa’s weapon with a long sliver of metal, and a small hook on the end, scratching a quick - and occult- symbol on the blade.
The blade begins to glow, bright light extending out five feet from it.
Khessa stares at her weapon in awe for a monent: she is wielding a magical balde now!"Thanks Kan" she whispers, too amazed to speak more loudly. How much would she have liked to have such a glowing weapon during her terrible ordeal through the underdark...
Kramyra turns to Khessa, “looks like you have claws now too” and she winks at her. Then gets ready for the next round, whether it be Kella and the boss coming into the tavern or them going out to meet them. Either way, she’s ready.
Maybe it was the hesitation, the moment he took to consider his options, losing his focus into thought. Maybe it was the sheer ability of the bandit, no doubt a veteran of more than a few battles, used to using his agility for both life and death. Maybe even a combination of both. Whatever the case Sorjen missed his attack. Something more than compensated by his companions. Tabaxi and dragonborn made fire and ice rain upon the enemies, guiding all but one to the grave. Falling down the stairs the survivor pleaded for his life.
Not now. The ranger thought. There are other enemies, dangerous enemies, to fight. Your merch shall wait. And that was considering the men even deserved any measure of mercy. He was a Zhentarim and that meant that while he could have dealt with little more than robbery and contraband, he could also be a killer for hire and a slave trader. In the half-elf eyes the latter deserved no compassion.
Sorjen waited for the leader of the bandits to appear and seeing his target he readied an arrow. This time there’s no spell to help. He said with the voice of his mind. Not that spell could save my last attack. At this point he just hoped the bow string didn’t snap.
"Should we capture the leader for interrogation?"
Notes: Sorjen attacks the bandit captain (hopefully without a nat 1 this time). If the captain is not in view then Sorjen would ready an action attack with the trigger being the appearing of the captain.

Kramyra runs down near Kella 10 feet from her (avoiding the captain), looks her in the eye, "We are here to help, we were going to help you, and you did this. Zhentarim is wrong." Kramyra reaches out her paw while saying this and casts poison spray - letting the noxious gas flow from her paw toward Kella. Kramyra runs back to where she was, trying to stay under some cover.
CON save 12 3 poison damage
OOC: Let me know if Kramyra needed to use her feline agility for this motion. She has 30 ft normally, 60 ft with it.
Khessa whispers to her friends: "I think he is too dangerous to capture... If he surrenders, ok to put him to question, but if he does not... I'd say kill and not pull punches. Remember my advice... Let's not make this fight more difficult than needed. That guy almost fell Ev'alish with his first pair of swings, when they met in open field! Let them come one at a time and attack from safety the one that fights with me. He will have a hard time hitting me, while you... well, each one of you will have a chance to hit him"
Then she laughs at the captain, ready to meet him from behind the barricade, her bright glowing two-handed sword in hands: "What's the matter, warlord? You came to conquer an almost destroyed, pillaged and abandoned village... Will the unexpected opposition of a handful of defenders make you run away with your tail betwen the legs? You could still go on with your 'conquest'... if you only have enough balls to come and fight me"
She keeps taking all the cover she can from the barricade and takes the dodge action (attacks against her are at disvantage). She only wants to draw the attention to herself, to lure them to fight her one at a time in the confined space of the stairs, defending, while the others can kill the (hopefully) enraged attacker from distance.

The first two take the full 13 fire damage, the 3rd and 4th take half
Ok, since the only living bandit left inside seems out of combat, Khessa goes for the option 2: calls out to the leader.
Gryrim shouts out at his would-be attacker "I've had drunken lads throw bottles at me better than that!" The taunt is followed quickly with a flick of his wrist. An amber coloured splash streaks across the sky in the direction of Kella.

Ev'alish moves to join his companions, but turns upon hearing the groaning of the remaining bandit, very much in pain.
"Thy hast fought well. Resteth."
He aims his pike for a clean, quick death, putting him out of his misery. Attack: 23 Damage: 8
He then moves to join Khessa at the barricade.
