It all happened so fast. The ogre approached, arrows and spells raining against it. Goblins answered with attacks of their own while Pojo seemed to desperately try to warn the improvised coalition between adventurers and Nightong of more enemies. Apparently the goblin had forgot this part of the cave’s defense. Well, goblins are not renowed by their intelligence. Sorjen thought to himself as an arrow hit his torso. Should have tried to get cover. He noticed too late. At least they had not been betrayed. Their captive proved as much by fighting with them, falling the first ogre.
“Try to keep cover!” He shouts to his companions, hoping they didn’t mae his same mistake. As fast as he could the ranger moves towards the thing who could offer him the better shielding. A tree, a large rock, anything that could make him harder to hit.
From his new position he takes aim against the closest goblin. The creature should be, still, over a hundred feet away. The unluckiest of the remaining trio. Provided I get a good hit. He thought getting an arrow, knocking it against the longbow and drawing the string. After attacking and before even confirming if the shot hat strike the mark, he dives in as much cover as he possibly can.
Notes: Sorjen moves to the thing that can give him better cover inside his move range (30ft) then attacks and get behind the cover.
Relieved for yet another victory, Khessa takes care of Alara's wound, bandaging it the best she can: "You have fough very well, Alara" she compliments the guard. "Your help has been invaluable. But now, another shot could well prove fatal for you, so you WILL NOT continue with us. You'll return at village, get the drawbridge up and wait in one of the towers, keeping the village safe for us. When we return, you lower the drawbridge for us and allow us all inside. Ok?"
She also quickly checks Sojen's wound: "Those little critters really like to spare their best shots for you, Shadow Stalker. Can you go on? Remember that mistress Kramyra has a potion of healing, if you feel too injured. Use it, if you think you need it".
Then, Khessa starts planning again and, while removing arrows and bolts from the body of the dead ogre (so that, from distance, one can not tell what killed it), she says to all: "Awesome job! We won, in spite of a little unexpected threat! Now, still an ogre inside to serve. As anticipated, I'd like to lure it back and dispose of it like the first one. Let's go back to the same hiding places as before. Caltrops are still in place. Gryrim, I'd like you to create the illusion of another ogre, this time. An ogre near the body of the fallen one, that is apparently about to get the treasure after having defeated the real ogre. Then Boss Pojo runs into the cavern and hastens the remaining ogre outside, telling that 'another ogre came suddenly to steal the treasure'. If all goes as expected, the next ogre will come out, will see the illusion... and hopefully charge at it without too much thinking and without noiticing us. At that point, suprirse shots time like before. And if the ogre survives the first shots and tries to come at us, caltrops might stop it and leave him exposed to another volley. Is this ok?"
Kramyra walks Alara a bit towards the town till the guard is confident she’ll make it back on her own. She then returns to her hiding place and sends Khessa a nod that she is ready for the next wave of enemies.
"Aye lass". Gryrim nods his understanding of Khessa's plan as he thinks to himself - This lass sure knows her way around an ambush. He waves his ringed finger once more towards the chest. This time though, in place of a pile of gold is a kneeling ogre with its hands on the lid of the box. He makes sure to use the dead ogre as inspiration for the illusion but changes the skin tone slightly hoping that it is enough of a change to indicate the kneeling beast belongs to a different tribe.
Once finished he retreats behind a rock or other natural barrier to hide himself. He gives Khessa a wave and then a big thumbs up to indicate he is ready.
“Two of the goblins ran off, surely to warn the others! We have to pursue, or surely they will kill the villagers within!” Kan is whiny for how frightened he is in all this.
(OOC: @DM: I was assuming the goblins fled away from cave... Is Kan right, instead? Did they flee INSIDE? If Kan is right, then, of course, we will need to rethink our strategy...)

“Seems that when I decided to dedicate myself to the bow the bow decided to dedicate itself to me.” He says to Khessa, as he approaches the site of the battle to retrieve his arrow. Stoically, the ranger removes the shot who had hit him. “Thank you for the offer, but It’s better to keep the potion to bring someone back up mid battle.”If they had one more maybe he would have answered different. For now, it was safer prioritize the melee. “I should be able to take at least one more strike and if not the distance from the thick of the fight should keep me unconscious rather dead.” He moves toward he felled quarry, retrieving his ammunition. “Let's hide, everyone and try to move into cover after attacking.”
After helping the group find a hiding place, he returns to the area around 150ft from the entrance of the cave and learning from his previous mistake he follows his own advice. He hides behind the thing capable to provide him the best shielding and prepares to attack once again, should the second ogre approach the chest or move to attack any of his allies. Part of him wished to stay closer, apply Hunter’s Mark, but in the end Sorjen decided it was better keep distance from the goblin archers.
Notes: Sorjen uses the help action to show the allies good places to hide then hides himself, 150ft from the cave entrance and behind the thing that can give him the most cover. He ready an attack with the trigger being a ogre getting 5ft from the chest/illusion or attacking one of Sorjen's allies.
Ev'alish rallies from the ogre fight to chase after the goblins with the rest of the group. He keeps a javelin in one hand and hurries beside Khessa, but freezes after a moment.
"Alas... I cannot see without a torch! One moment!"
The dragonborn draws a tinderbox from his bag and ignites a torch, then nods. "Now, let us proceed forth!"
“Oh, I can help with that, Miss Eva,” Kan draws out his tools and writes a few symbols in the air itself. A light appears in the shape of Kan, and then dissipates into three orbs of light which spread out ahead of them towards the cave entrance, and one sticks right next to Eva’lish.
(OOC: Does the second guard finish off Gryrim's goblin? The attack and the damage rolls were quite good...)

Then, as soon as all are hidden again, she pats the goblin on his back: "Go fetch Big Ugly 2, Boss Pojo. We'll be waiting"

Does seem possible for us to chase them (to avoid them raising the alarm)? Or no hope to catch them?
By the way, if a chase seems possible, Khessa agrees with Kan: we should try to catch the goblins, to prevent them raising the alarm.
If no hope to catch them, then Khessa goes on with her original plan:
Stealth: 5
Attack (with Fire bolt): 16 Damage: 2

as the tunnel in the cave is illuminated, Kramyra sees the goblins up ahead running and casts sleep...
