Bigan would look down to Wrenn. "Yes, you are Wrenn. I was not looking to stray too far in this house full of undead." He'd turn back to the giggling child. "What is so funny, little one?"
Misira decides to see if the investigators can speak to the child through the spirit board and planchette. She leaves the room, goes through the hallway (9) and into the parlor. “Sirs, there appears to be a child-like ghost sitting at the dining room, before we move forward with it, I thought I’d see if you wanted a chance to speak to it?”
Alanik and Arthur share a glance upon hearing what Misira has to say.
"Would you please go have a look whilst I continue to investigate this spirit board?" Alanik asks Arthur.
Arthur simply nods his head before stepping through the door that Misira entered, and straight into the dining room. He pauses when he sees the figure under the sheet.
"Well, what do we have here?" he asks no one in particular. He carefully steps forward towards the figure and slowly raises his right hand as he does so. The figure stays still, not flinching away from the outreached hand. Then finally, Arthur grabs the sheet and pulls it off the figure. Underneath the sheet is just a doll, a ragged doll in a frilly red dress, sitting in the chair. Arthur carefully picks up the doll, and you can all see that the doll has one button eye, whilst a white patch covers where the other eye should be.
"Whatever it was, it seems to have left for now. It seems the spirits of this house have already started to waken by our mere presence. This investigation should be interesting."
Arthur then takes a deep breath and relaxes, it is only then that you realise that he had tensed his whole body.
"I'll continue investigating the house with you, I'll let you lead the way, though. So which room do you want to explore next?"
He then places the doll on the dining room table just before where the figure was sitting before draping the sheet over the chair.

Sharone steps to the doll to investigate, laughing off the mistaken thought that this was a child, then a ghost, and now a doll. With an eye patch? Her hand goes to the patch to lift it up, examines the doll further.
Investigation, if needed : 11
Sharone asks, “Have you investigated any areas of the house yourselves yet?”
Bigan hums, eyeing the doll as it gets settled down. By now, the barbarian started to feel fairly spooked for being fooled that easily. He donned his mask once again and hoisted his axe. "Appreciated, Arthur. We were planning going to the other end, up north. Shall we continue?" He would walk around the table and simply wait at the door for the others.
"According to the map, room 10 is next. Looks like we're all ready to go, lead the way Bigan." Misira heads up right behind Bigan but is feeling a bit less confident after what happened with the harp.
"We'd only about just got done investigating the foyer and parlour when he found the spirit board. Just after that, you all arrived," Arthur replies to Sharone. "We're from Darkon originally, before we moved to Dementlieu.
Room ten, I think that would be the kitchen then?"

Lyreth taps her amulet and follows Bigan, this place is giving her the creeps. But at least they are heading for the kitchen, the friendliest place in any home.

"............anybody got any potatoes? We could drop a potato in each hole an' see which ones get viciously mauled by horrible monsters?"
Misira follows the rest of them into the kitchen, talking with Arthur as she goes. "Are you investigating this property for yourself or were you hired to do it? I'm curious what the nature is of the current interest in such a home" She says the last word with a bit of distain. Which she promptly realizes the irony on that considering her current home is an abandoned shack.
"We were hired," Arthur admits. "Although, we're not sure by who."
You enter into the kitchen where a rack previously suspended from the ceiling has crashed, crushing a table and scattering rusted pots and cooking implements. A sizable iron stove is built into the north wall.
With all of the debris and broken furnishings scattered over the kitchen floor, it is difficult to move around. (difficult terrain)
At the back of the kitchen is a simple oven, little more than a fireplace with metal racks arranged behind an iron door. Sharone opens the door to the oven and finds a freshly baked caramel chip muffin sitting inside.
"Thank goodness. Ha. How did that child sneak into this house, to play a prank on us?"
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Wrenn lays a hand on Lyreth's calf the only place he can reach "No, a ghost child." He says sadly "I know....Children die too."
He says to the sheet "Hello, what do you want?"
