"Hey, don't be sorry for a lich being private. You know, we don't need nimblefingers to always open doors.." He'd grin down to the dwarf. "...sometimes a countdown and a size 11 boot can get similar results. You got the bottom hinge, I got the lock, what do you say?" Matthias would ready himself to kick the door as hard as he could, waiting if Barkas would start a countdown and go with this plan.
(Matt is giving advantage to Barkas if he wants to force the door open. :))
Barkas smiles at Matthias and says "Sure! Let's give it a go. And a one a, and a two a, and a three!" And Barkas slams against the door trying to bust in.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Once the first door is reclosed, Edrik makes his way over to the door Matthias and Barkas are trying to break down. "I will wait on standby should you need me," he tells the pair. "Not that I have any doubts!" He's ready to grab his shortsword if needed.
Matthiasand Barkas simultaneously make impact with the cell door, but they succeed only in filling the dungeon with the sound of an enormous thud. The door remains fast.
Edrik deftly picks the lock. The cell floor is littered with clean humanoid bones and, strangely enough, dozens of purple crystals. Among the bones and crystals lie a variety of coins (copper, silver and gold) and some adventuring gear (a bullseye lantern, a dagger, a shortsword, a wooden shield, and a pair of javelins).
The walls and ceiling are covered in webs that house dozens of spiders the size of a human fist.
"Don't touch those crystals," she instructs the group. "And get ready to slam the door if this triggers something." She'll try to scoop up the dagger with her mage hand, and deposit it in her pack without touching it.
The pounding sound created by the crawling claws continues to echo through the dungeon area, but a new sound reaches everyone's ears. Something is clawing frantically on the other side of one of the cell doors (cell E).
After the door to A is shut, Barkas says “Next!” like he is looking for a prize behind a door, goes to room C and opens the door if it is unlocked. If it is locked, he will wait on Edrik Nimblefingers to open it.

"I say we close this one up," Edrik says. Looking at Faloniir for help he will try and push the door back shut. (Athletic if needed: 19) Once that door is closed he turns his attention to the other with frantic clawing (E). "Well, shall we see what this one is too?"
Assuming he gets agreement from the others he would check for traps here as well and then pick the lock if necessary. (Perception: 7, Use Thieves' Tools: 7)
Barkas pulls on the door (cell C), and it opens, increasing the wretch-inducing scent of death in the passageway. The rotting corpse of a male tiefling wearing ruined leather armor sits at the back of the cell, chained up and forgotten. The body wears a silver chain around its neck that bears a gold holy symbol of Asmodeus, ruler of the Nine Hells.
Edrikdetermines the door to cell E is safe, but his lockpicking skills fall short this time. Whatever is within the cell continues to scratch and claw at the door. Another image crashes upon the minds of the party members: the tiny dragon clawing at an iron door.
Matthias would grin, seeing the glint of the chain in the far end of the cell, but would walk to Cell E and level his bow toward the door waiting for it to pop open and eliminate any hooded figure or a creepy crawly hand.
"After this pops open, let me get a good look at that tiefling." He mutters to the others.

Eldeth peers into the dark cell and sees a faint aura coming from the dagger AND a glow of conjuration magic emanating from all the crystals.

Without incident, Eldeth guides the spectral hand to retrieve the magical blade (dagger (+1)).
"I'll cast identify on it later when we have more time," she explains, "but we need to keep searching for now."
