Stalker says, "I'm afraid the tea is not for me. Bring me mead, cider or ale, and happier I will be."
Stalker, Treaclewise (the jolly goblin) sprouts some of his rhyming slang at you. You are not 100% sure what he said to you, but you think he apologised for not having any of the beverages you requested, and has directed you to the feasting orchard for such.
"Hello again! I'll take the third tea, do you have any food here? We're hungry as can be," Halei sits with her feet underneath her and rubs her hands together in anticipation. Few things make her happier than a good cup of tea.
Halei, (a wise choice) You sit back and enjoy a very nice tea blend with a wonderful aroma of bergamot and citrus with a hint of honey. As a tea connoisseur, it is not the finest tea you have tasted, but it is certainly up there with the best. This brief interlude takes your mind away from the mission at hand and you sit back feeling relaxed and happy, enjoying the moment.
"Let's not get too comfy here," Stalker rumbles. "Get 'er in ya and let's get to the employee area!" He won't rush the group if they decide to dally, however.
Bugs watches the others with their order and asks the goblin, "Tea can be great, and tea can be fine but carrot juice or cider would be truly fine!" He waited to see if the rhyming waiter would have his beverage. It seemed unlikely, but he had to try (Assuming they don't have carrot juice.) He adds "Well, then tea it is! And tea is fine! Please bring me mine!"
Finished with what could only be called crude rhyming he carefully attempted to listen in to more of the conversation he had heard previously. If that group moved away at all - he fills in the rest of the group on what he heard. If they stay he listens and will fill them in when they leave.

Balliol, The little goblin, looks up at you, utterly delighted and picks up the teaspoon he miraculously tossed in front of you. "No carrots, no food, no mead do I have. Only tea. Tea is fine. Tea. Fine tea that is mine. While the ride is not free, the tea is on me." Digging a heap of the dried leaves from the second offered bowl, Treaclewise sprinkles them in your teacup and douses them in steaming hot water from one of the teapots. He holds a small pouch out and drops it into your hand. The wing-bearing goblin trots away to serve some other customers with a wink and a gleaming from his smile's shiny tooth.
(Treaclewise has given you a pouch of Scatterleaf Tea. I have added it to your inventory.)
For Balliol's ears only...
(Courtesy of the tea that Treaclewise poured for you, you have advantage on your wisdom skill checks for the next hour.)
Listening to the nearby gossiping hands, you hear, "Seems Candlefoot's lost his voice." as they all giggle cruelly. "Haha, Palasha's obviously got him speechless."
Wildred says "we came for food not for tea,but if I must the third for me,sure their nice, sure their hot..but teas not food won't hit the spot"
Wildred, grinning from ear to ear and enjoying your rhyming banter, Treaklewise reaches in front of you, picks up your spoon and digs a nice heap from the third tea described to you as 'pleasant', and he sprinkles it into your designated teacup and pours steaming hot water from he teapot. You take a sip to find your tastebuds, pleasantly surprised. Your cares and worries slip from your mind as you sit back and sip your tea. You forget about your earlier giggle fit, and the quest seems far less important now.
Wildred, Balliol & Halei, The three of you find yourselves feeling very comfortable and relaxed. How pleasant it is sitting in this garden, surrounded by all manner of folk, socialising and enjoying the beautiful evening. A light breeze blows past, fluttering tent flaps as the aroma of stewing teas tickles your noses. Wind chimes tinkling in the distance, the deep, dark blue night sky dotted with twinkling stars from horizon to horizon, with the carnivals airborne attractions of the bubble and dragonfly rides flying overhead.
Stalker, prepares to speak words designed to snap the three of you from your dreamy state, when suddenly, a loud pop and bang startle you as a shower of sparks fill the sky above, followed by the screaming sound of the fireworks as they shoot across the carnival skyline. Oohs and Ahhs emanate from all around the carnival as the short teaser climaxes, then fizzles out. You snap out of your dreamy mindset, remembering where you are and why it is you are here.
Has the tea subsided your hunger? What is your next move? Food in the Feasting Orchard, perhaps? Head across to the Big Top and wait for the Extravaganza to begin (in about three-quarters of an hour from now)? Find a new attraction to enjoy, or investigate the staff area?
Wildred smiles very refreshing though it was,I'm still rather peckish maybe we could get something to eat on the way to our next destination?what do you all say...we don't want to miss the big Extravaganza I have a feeling it is the place to be!"......Wildred looks around at the party as he sips the last of his tea.
Halei savors the calm that washes over her. She melts into her seat, it's not often she has a moment to just relax with her usual hyperactive energy. She would love to stay here and sip tea all day, but it was getting hard to ignore her growling stomach. She nods to Wildred, "Yeah, I would like something to eat. I hope they have a nice soup or stew, it's my favorite! It's just like tea, but it's food." She laughs at herself before finishing the rest of her tea.
Roused by the fireworks Balliol looks around to make sure nobody was around that could overhear them. He quickly speaks up to stop their departing just yet. "Hold on. I think food is a great idea, but before we go I need to say something." He looks around again to make sure that they are not being listened to. "I overheard something . . . " Balliol then relates the conversation he had previously overheard. (Check out the "For Balliol spoilers" on the last page.) He finishes with, "It seems there is a lot to be worried about. But our goal likely remains the same. Lets get some food and think this over. Then the big show at the very least."
(I'll update to include the actual overheard conversation if I get the time. Sorry. Rushed.)

For ease of reference here are the two posts that contain the aforementioned conversations overheard by Balliol.
"It seems there are foul deeds being committed. Let's keep our eyes open," Stalker says after hearing Balliol's news. "We're low on time. Let's get you all a quick bite at the Feasting Orchard and then make our way to the Big Tent where the big spectacle is supposed to take place."
"Hmm, I guess there is something more sinister here, I wonder how this will affect our plans... I'm ready anyhow," Halei unfolds her legs and stands up from the table.
The four of you stand and start to make your way across the carnival. There seem to be even more folk than earlier and the mood is now electric. Shows captivate their crowds and no attraction is unvisited. The tunes of the carnival rides carry over the enchanted din. You see children running around, playing catch with each other. Some are whinging. Some try to persuade their parents to buy them something useless, while others are captivated by the treasure trove of goings-on. You wander past a choir of singing cats, toads and badgers serenading the passers-by. Everyone seems to be sharing in the joy of the carnival. It is almost impossible not to get caught up with some distraction of entertainment, but your growling stomachs remind you of the task at hand, and you eventually wind up at the entrance to the Feasting Orchard where the heady scents of flowers, mead, and berry pie waft through the air. Stilt-walkers pluck fruit from trees; musicians drum, pipe, and strum, and there is singing and dancing all around.
Before you are an eatery of long benches and smaller round tables dotted amongst clusters of fruit trees, one of the centre benches is piled high with small, glazed cupcakes, each filled with an excessive dollop of berry custard, where eager looking gourmandizers appear to be preparing for an eating competition.
"If you all want to try the contest," says Stalker, "I'll keep watch and try not to let anything too crazy happen to you." He chuckles at the recent events.
"I think I've had enough excitement for one days, food will do just fine"wildred looks cautiously around taking in his surroundings.
(If I could do a perception check wildred is looking and using his ears for any conversations or characters that may help us along with our mission, now that he knows something is a foot and not quite what it seems)
"The sooner we find who we are looking for the better,il just get a bite to eat and that's me"
Stalker joins Wildred for a bite of food and some cider. He continues to keep any eye out for trouble or clues and an eye on Halei if she is planning to join the eating contest.
