Droknin cuts down one of the two Redbrands standing nearest him.  He falls, clutching at the gaping wound in his neck and falls face first down in the dusty street.

The other draws a shortsword.  "You'll pay for that, monster!" Attack: 17 Damage: 4

Slobomir advances 15ft closer to Droknin and draws two more daggers flicking at the Leonin.   Attack: 6 Damage: 5    Attack: 15 Damage: 7  He then retreats back to his starting position.

The last Redbrand was severely wounded by Garrin.  He tries to grapple Keashirryl, to use her as a human shield.  Acrobatics:  21  Keashirryl can contest that with an Athletics or Acrobatics roll.  If the Redbrand succeeds in grappling Keashirryl, he will use his full movement to drag her 15ft closer to Slobomir on the other side of the well.

[I am so sorry everyone.  I thought for some reason I was still waiting on one of you and then time got away from me.  It looks like Mud has left us for good.  If everyone still wants to play I can look for another 4th.  Again, mad apologies for the 3 weeks of lost time.]

Surprised as she is, Keashirryl tries to resist the grapple, attempting to shake off the Redbrand. (Athletics for the contested roll: 12 )

"How gentleman-like of you" she groans, pushing her elbow against the man's ribcage. "Now let go, before I myself loose my good manners." 

[Just to make sure; does the first contested roll count as an action on my turn?]

[Personally, it is absolutely fine, just glad to see some of us are still around. Similarly, I would welcome a 4th player if everyone is up to it.]

(Wow. You see that all the time in the movies, just never would have thought of pulling that off in D&D!! That was a pretty cool move. (LOL) I am fine in adding another player.)

[Keashirryl:  No, the first check was just to see if he successfully grappled you.  You still have your full turn (up now) and can take any action, including an attempt to break the grapple, but you cannot move.]

Noting that the little strength in her was to no use, Keashirryl frowns, and her voice deepens with wrath when she speaks her command. "Release!" she exclaims, and she tenses for a moment. 

In case she succeeds, she would want to move further away from the Redbrand and Slobomir, reaching for her crossbow.

[It would mean a wisdom 12 save for the Redbrand] 

Redbrand WIS save:  18

The Redbrand's grip on Keashirryl doesn't relax and he gives a sharp laugh.  He seems completely oblivious to the spell he just shrugged off. 

(I think that means Garrin is up.)

Garrin flails with his staff again, as a spark shoots towards the hostage taker with the chaotic appearances of eldritch blast 

Attack: 9 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. 

[The Redbrand now has 1/2 cover as he is keeping Keashirryl between him and Garrin.]

Garrin, careful not to strike the Tiefling, misses for the first time with his eldritch blast.  The Redbrand laughs and smiles mockingly at the halfling, his teeth stained red from chewing leaves des rouge.  

ROUND FOUR

From the corner of his feline eyes, he sees that the devil woman is being held by a disgusting Redbrand, with red stained teeth no less!! Droknin cannot let this barbaric act come to pass. He runs to the back of the Redbrand holding Keashirryl, drop Mlinzi nearby, and he will try to free his friend. (If the Redbrand has a weapon against her throat, he will grab his weapon hand, otherwise, he will just wrestle the guy to free her.)

Droknin Athletics: 14

The Redbrand who has been next to Droknin takes an attack of opportunity when the Leonin moves to help Keashirryl, stabbing at his back with his shortsword.  Attack: 7 Damage: 3

The grappling Redbrand doesn't have a weapon to her throat yet, but does his best to keep himself and Keashirryl out of Droknin's reach.  "Aye!  Paws off, you mangy stray!"  Acrobatics:  5

The attack of opportunity fails as Droknin is too agile to be caught so easily... but the grappling Redbrand proves to be hard to pin down as well, evading Droknin's grasp.

"Hold her still, while we finish the Cat!" Slobomir shouts at the Redbrand grappling Keashirryl.  He advances on Drokin with his final dagger reverse-gripped.  He makes two slashes against Droknin, across an arm and then down toward the collarbone.

Attack: 9 Damage: 5

Attack: 22 Damage: 4

The Redbrand to the northwest pursues Droknin and joins Slobomir in the assault, stabbing again with his shortsword.  "This will teach you!"  

Attack: 10 Damage: 4

The grappling Redbrand now raises his shortsword in a threatening posture toward Keashirryl.  He looks toward Garrin.  "Halfling!  No more of that magical hoo-hah, or the lady gets it!"  He readies an attack, to be triggered if Garrin takes aggressive action toward the Redbrands on his next turn.

It's funny how all the elaborate plans and we'll thought-out ideas leave a person when their life is threatened. It would, after all, be the time they need it most, Keashirryl concludes. She rolls her eyes, hearing the threath of the Redbrand, and turn to Garrin.

“Whatever you choose to do, I bought that thing from your niece for emergencies. For the sake of clarification, any of us bleeding out on the ground would be an emergency” she says before making another desperate attempt to break the grapple. (Athletics: 12 )

Redbrand grappler acrobatics:  19

The thug is just too quick, countering all of Keashirryl's moves and keeping her in his grip.  [Her escape attempt does not trigger his readied attack.]

A pair of shadowy figures approach the scene of battle from different directions....

ROUND FIVE

An arrow flies at the guard holding a blade to the woman's neck was T'laren leans out, and looses his shot.

Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Another arrow follows soon after as the figure ducks back.

Action Surge: Attack: 26 Damage: 10

((Assuming he wouldn't have advantage on the second even if he did on the first? 17 if he does.))

(Not entirely sure but I think the one by the well is one of the Redbrands.)

Moving calmly towards the nearest of the redbrands, a scarred half orc is doing a bit of stretching. As he gets closer he readies a staff that he had been carrying on his back. As he gets to the Redbrand by the well, he clears his throat slowly. "You need ta go. The square is for everyone." 

As he finishes speaking he suddenly swings the staff forward towards the back of their head.

Attack: 8 Damage: 12

Following this he does a slight spin and snap kick towards the center of their back.

Attack: 23 Damage: 5

The elf's first arrow enters the back of the Redbrand's neck and lodges in his throat.  Keashirryl can feel the human's grip slacken and then release.  He collapses to the street.

T'Laren's second arrow narrowly misses Slobomir, who now realizes there are additional foes lurking nearby and he just became outnumbered.
