The sound of combat seems to have woken up the ruins of Thundertree. From the rooftops, you can hear rusting inside some of the other buildings and in the thickets and bushes between. For now, nothing is heading this way.
"Hmmn," thinks Favric. "Thats an interesting question. Most of the clerics who have joined the faith renounced their old gods and took up the scriptures of Tiamat. If I take your meaning, though, I don't think you're talking about divine spells. Pact magic? Right? I wouldn't imagine dragons take issue with where their soldier draw their power. As long as your patron is OK, I don't see an issue."
"As far as uncomfortable orders, I wouldn't worry about it. I've been with them for years and I've never been asked to do something I wasn't completely comfortable with."
Droknin, the wounded cultists looks even more terrified as you loom over him, perhaps convinced this man-lion has come to devour him. But you are able to correct some simple mistakes they made in his bindings and soon the bleeding is under control and he is resting comfortably.

Favric seems like he might come from human nobility, or perhaps he just had a proper education. He seems to have manners... but you do get the sense that he is not concerned in the slightest for the well-being of his wounded comrade. When he says 'I've never been asked to do something I wasn't completely comfortable with' it would be fair to ask if there is anything this guy wouldn't be comfortable doing.
You haven't interacted as much with the other cultists, but they seem to range from true-believers like Favric, to youngsters who were almost ready to flee once the twig blights attacked.

Droknin, you can't see what T'laren is doing outside, but it would probably occur to some of you eventually that T'laren hasn't joined you in the cottage. Though you may have noticed one of his arrows came through a window and took out one of the blights.
T'laren:
In your investigations, you find that most of the ruined buildings have ash zombies inside of them. There aren't any huge swarms, but most buildings have collections of 3-5 of them. They seem agitated and are shuffling around but aren't leaving the buildings yet.
You also spot a few more twig blights, but nothing that compares with the large group that you just dispatched.
[This is true of the buildings in the south/central part of the village. If you explore the west, or the tower, or the fortified building, let me know and make another set of rolls.]
To Garrin: "Well, as I was starting to say before those hideous beasts interrupted us, we are here to treat with the dragon. These ruins are home to a green dragon, and we hope to make an alliance with her before other forces drive her out or enrage her."

Garrin absolutely hates the idea of yet another dragon moving into the area, and thinks it's bad that these cultists are here to support it, but one problem at a time, and don't let these turds know it.
"A pity," says Favric. "I'd hoped you might come along with us in the morning to meet the dragon."
"Goblins? No. Your little friend there is the first goblin we have seen." He looks at Droop with naked contempt.

Keashirryl felt seriously concerned for a moment. Her companions dipping their toes into dragon worship was a rather uncomfortable idea in itself, but she was even more reluctant to get involved. Luckily, Garrin did not prove enthusiastic about a new faith either.
These people seem too friendly for her, and trusting strangers is even more challenging since the meeting with fake Sildar. Their contempt towards their goblin friend does not improve her mood either, and she can't help but raise an eyebrow.
She leaves her backpack behind, asking Droop to set up a place for her to sleep if they decide to stay.
"Excuse me for a moment. Just need to clear my head. These creatures made a mess and the stench got to me. A bit of fresh air will do me good", she mumbles quickly, leaving the building to check if T'laren is still around. She keeps an eye out for anyone following her and only proceeds if she is alone. She cannot be sure if the cultists have seen the arrow, and she does not want to blow the fighter's cover, but wants to make sure nothing unpleasant happened.
((I think one of his arrows was shot towards the door, the other towards the window, did either end up outside? If so, he may use Neral't to retrieve them.))
